I forsee a lot of game of homes in the future. One category can mean a lot of different set ups. I'm personally not interested in a stilt home, that sits completely in open water and not really fond of one completely on land either.However, something with the butt in the water or attached to a pier would be great.

Bunch of nonesense. SL, Minecraft and VR chat are 3 very different things. They are not fishing for the exact same pool of users, as they are not providing the same thing. Anf Minecraft for example draws its popularity from a very young crowd. I really don't think we should envy it for that aspect.

Funny thing: Often those are the same who go absolutly bananas, if they end up being the one suffering from an inconsiderate neighbour.

The windows are great indeed (although I'd like them to be even wider, instead of multiple ones next to each other, like in some houseboat designs) and I do agree, that separating the room yourself could be good, but right now I'm just standing in it, wondering what to do/how to cut it up.

It is so great being able to take a look at it again. Makes it easier to get inspired. Although my final decision would heavily depend on what the makers come up with in terms of add-ons. Especially for... I think its the Tortuga(?). Super nice layout outside, but inside there is this wide open room thats no good or anything at that size and odd shape.

Just delete all starteravatars and give people a round, grey ball as a replacement. Let them also select non-effective boxes during account creation, so they can play pretend that this gives their avatar any gender, orientation, religion, ethnicity, nationality, color preference, favorite pizza topping and more. Leave some blank boxes, too, so people can write in whatever else is missing. Problem solved.

All those sharp edges, shadows and especially the nose will always make it obvious, that your head isn't mesh.

Maybe you should put that ambition into RL and make 2000$ per week there.

I use discord (because Skype sucks), but I don't use it for SL.

I only got four at the moment. I usually don't put people on there, if I know they will be gone soon anyway. Like, they make a thread, behave like a butt and are gone once the lock comes down. It isn't worth it to put them on the list just for that.

But that is not a restriction from LL, but from some silly person you are renting from. No need to own a full sim, if you rent either directly from LL or from a sane landlord.

Malls were always an awful concept. I highly doubt that. Both communities are unlikely to share a huge overlap and Minecraft has been around for years.

Solution to what? There is no problem, so there is no "solution" needed. Unless we consider the "problem" of the OP of not being able to easily proceede to catfish people a true problem, that should get a solution.

While the blog doesn't adress me (I'm not a US citizen), I do not mind it. The US seems to be set up to put the effort of voting on the citizen, instead of handing it you on a silver platter (thats just my impression so far, I might be wrong about it). If it helps to motivate one person to go, its good. Also I'm used to companies not considering Europe in their thinking and drowned in "US this, US that".

How do you know anyones RL age? Unless you ask and they tell you the truth (which you can never be sure of), you have no clue about how old anyone around you is.
