In the last week or so I've been getting lots of errors on the Marketplace - Internal Server errors in search, and "Access denied" errors when trying to buy. It's not consistent, might be ok after a few minutes, or hours, and then start again. Anyone else? Or is this just me?

I don't know if it still exists but Torley Linden used to have a place like this, years ago. I probably have some pics of it still, somewhere. I will try to find them.

Then it's working correctly. Nobody in your friends list is posting anything, or your friends list is empty. The Trending tab always shows the most recent public posts from everyone in the whole of SL (who uses the feed - most people don't). Note that this doesn't mean that these unknown people are following you or reading what you post. They might, if they happen to look at the Trending tab shortly after you've posted something public. You can restrict your feed to Friends only, if you want to.

Lemsip tastes horrid, they put tons of lemin in it to mask the aspirin/paracetamol. My preferred cold remedy is whisky, honey and hot water. Doesnt' cure the cold but it makes me feel better

The ironic thing is, it doesn't help to spam multiple listings for the same event. The original one is there anyway. And as they are shown in the order they were posted, the original one still shows first. The best plan is to post once, but post it well in advance, to ensure that your event is nearer the top of the list for that time-slot.

I am .. frustrated. I am trying to arrange an appointment with my doctor, I had one but it had to be changed because my doctor is unexpectedly unavailable that day. So she has been trying to phone me while I am at work, and I can't take calls at work. I've been trying all week to call back on my breaks and of course she is busy with patients. I have left a message with the receptionist to ask the doctor to make an appointment for me at any time and just message me with the new date, but the receptionist doesnt seem to understand.

Just to add one thing, to make sure that the skin has blank skintone fingertips and toes, with no nails or shading included on the base skin, because nails and toes map differently from one body to another.

I think its because of the new charges. Some club owners are now combining their days events into one post of 12 hours instead of 6 posts at 2 hours each.

Actually most people wanted this. Its purpose is to reduce spam in the listings. If you don't want to pay the fee, don't post in the Events listings. Use groups instead. No-one reads the listings anyway, because there's too much spam in them.

Its my understanding that licensing for DJs streaming in SL is supposed to be handled by the stream provider (Shoutcadt etc). Whether they actually do, I couldn't say, but responsibility for streaming licenses would fall on them, not on individual DJs.

No, you can do it with Catwa. Even though there are only two layers, the layers are split into sections so you can apply more than one item to the same layer, IF they are in different sections. On a male head, the sections are Hairbase, Beard, Eyes, Eyebrows, Mouth, Neck. Individual appliers may add to more than one section, for instance Facial hair usually goes on the beard AND the mouth section. You don't usually get to choose this; the applier will do it for you. In your case it's likely that the beard and the tattoo are going to apply to the same section, so you will need to apply those to different layers. For realism, you'll want the tattoo on the lower layer and the beard on upper. Now, normally from the applier, it will go to the Lower layer automatically (some give you a choice but not all). So what you need to do here is apply your beard first on the lower layer. Then, get your Beard & Hairbase hud out of the pack your head came with, and Save your beard in one of those Save slots. Then clear it off the lower layer. Next, apply your tattoo and your hairbase, both to the lower (default) layer. Because they are applying to different sections, they will work together. Finally, return to your Beard hud and use that to load your beard to the upper layer (select layer from the hud and make sure the Blend slider is all the way to the left). If your tattoo is a scalp tattoo, then it's the hairbase it clashes with, so you'll need to save either the hairbase or the tattoo to your hud and apply this to the upper layer instead of the beard.

I'm cheating a little, this is actually a costume I've set up for an event tomorrow. I was really annoyed that my eyes were closed in the first one, I caught some great movement in the skirt though.

The Trending tab is where all recent activity is located, regardless of whether you are following them or not. If you are not logged in, the Home tab will be the same. If you are logged in, and looking at the Following tab, that should be just posts from your SL friendslist. In my case, that tab is entirely just one person, who seems to be the only one of my friends who actually uses it. If you are on the Following tab and you see names you don't recognise, it may be that some of your friends have changed their display names. Or you have friends that you just forgot were there and you don't remember them.

True enough, but the only current female bodies that are BOM out-of-the-box are normal-sized, not "giant". Anything out-of-the-ordinary or specialist will almost certainly not be BOM-ready and so will need Omega in order to use it.

My RP preference would be a tankard of ale in a tavern rather than coffee in a cafe, but I definitely sympathise. RP is particularly hard for us EU folks.

Just discovered a new one. Going for days with no fun events to attend because I'm not in the US and they all happen hours after I've gone to bed. Then logging in to find my notices have three events all happening right now, at the same time, and I want to attend all three but I can only go to one of them.

I have a "gay agenda". It involves being able to go out in public, holding hands with my partner, and not getting beaten up for it. It involves being able to get married, if we want to. To be parents, if we want to. To have a job in which we don't have to dodge around questions about "your wife" for fear of getting sacked. Straight people already have these things. And I am lucky, I live in a part of the world where I (usually) have them too. But there are many more gay people around the world who don't, yet. My personal gay agenda also involves a copious amount of wine, but that's just me. My partner prefers gin & tonic.
