The issue IS body specific or at least each designer deals with things differently. It took me a VERY long time to figure out that I needed to wear the HAND AO hud (separate tiny AO) with the altamura free male body. The hands were always splayed and that was disturbing. AND yes, OLD AO. Lara has it so that your hands are in a natural position (or what you left them at last from the choice menu in the HUD) so I of course hadn't had to deal with that. The Belleza male body that I tried out had that same splayed hand bit. I had no idea what was going on. So this was all good info and I passed it along to my guy friends that have the free body. I am not sure if the huds work the same with the full version. Actually I haven't noted that issue with any FEMALE bodies that I have tried which is kind of interesting :D.

I am pretty sure from everything I have read on these forums that when you account gets deleted by LL, you get an email. You said in the OP your account was on hold. WHY did it say it was on hold? You need to address that problem in your support ticket and then perhaps someone can fix this. It doesn't appear to happen that often though. hey don't cancel accounts frivolously from what I understand so if YOU didn't do anything to be banned, perhaps someone got into your computer? Either way it seems unlikely you can fix this, but give as much info on your support ticket as you can. If you don't remember any of your security questions you are likely out of luck. Edit: Did you try calling the phone number that the viewer gave you?

Once you have areas sort of like you like, the SMOOTH option will make them flow together better -- that might be all you need. It DOES take some practice, so don't give up :D. Good luck

It has been very bad with the asset server. I have logged in with no head, with two sets of clothes (another avatar) etc. Haven't notice any losses but they could definitely have happened. Likely it is NOT you. Unfortunately there is likely no fix for this and yo may need to upload the file again (been there a few dozen times *wink*.

If you are using Blender Cycle engine you may find some info here in my tutorials. https://www.slartist.com/browse-the-tutorial-chic-videos-1-date.html LIGHTING is a huge thing in Blender Cycles and it take a long while (well it took ME a long while anyway) to understand what you need to do to get the look you want. I give a lot of info on that in the tutorials. You want the ones with the BLENDER icon on them and they are listed like a blog (backwards) so you want to find number one maybe and go from there -- or pick any one and hope it is what you need. ONCE you have a lighting set up that you like, you can SAVE that as your start up file (or another file if you like). I have some video tutorials on mapping. They are not specific to your project but might help. These use the Cycles Render engine but the mapping info would be the same in Cycles Render. I completely agree with Aquila :D. If "I" were making this I would map maybe six or seven of the cross boards (making JUST six to start with) then link them and use the ARRAY modifier to make several sets of the same boards. Each of the seven board sets would use the SAME UV mapping so they could be baked and still not look too repetitive. Know that may not make sense to you where you are in your learning path but will for others so putting that in. Here is a link to the tutorials. You want the ones with a photo of a blender on them and number 2 and 3 of the series (you might want to start with 1 just because) may help a bit. I would vote for Slink because of the clothes availability. HOWEVER -- you can now pick up a VERY nice all mesh male avatar (with head) that is BENTO for free from altamura. You cannot change the skin which is a very nice one so that is a plus OR add tattoos and such but it has an impressive and VERY EASY TO USE hud with tons of alpha slot options. I got one of these along with three male friends and all are very happy with them You can make the included head invisible and use another head. You need to join the TeleportHub group for $10. Certainly a good way to jump into mesh bodies. PS. With all the alpha slots there are plenty of clothes from the other brands that fit. So wardrobe isn't a huge problem. I am not sure if this will help with Blender Render but with Cycles similar (not exact) things like this happen and if you TRIANGULATE with the modifier (not at the export choice menu) that will help. MORE LIKELY -- putting some space between you UV areas might help and baking with a small margin (like 1). It could easily be as mentioned that some areas are baking onto other since that UV map (likely done automatically?) is so dense. That's my best guess :D. I can't really see your map well enough but it looks pretty tiny for something that complex. I have been using Cycles for over two years now so don't remember much about Blender Render. There are limits as to what you can do terraforming -- especially on the mainland. Also you can't do too much at the areas which border someone else's land.

I suggest you go to some of the SCHOOLS. I don't think you can get into the Firestorm new folks areas since your account is older. But there are a few schools out there and classes and you can learn things AND meet folks. Some of the newbie friendly areas are not all the friendly as you found out :D. Likely had nothing to do with YOU, but "them" :D. Classes are often listed in the EVENTS area of the classifieds and sometimes here on the forums. Good luck.

I think the point that someone above was trying to make is that they didn't want their tattoos (or socks etc) cut off with the alpha slots and so it would be better to know BEFORE HAND where they divisions were. One can always TEST of course but then redoing gets involved.

The least taxing on your system are 1.23 based viewers (old blue buttons and such) and there are several in the 3rd Party viewer list. That being said your computer is not up to running SL well, it may not even make the minimum requirements these days. So if a 1.23 viewer doesn't help you really need to shop for a more powerful system. That's just the way it is. I have I computer similar to yours that is packed away and haven't used it to run SL in several years. So if you are even in SL and doing "OK" , then you are doing well.

Yes, can be tricky and lots of folk not home in RL during the holidays. You can send an IM to the owner of the rental box (right click and inspect or look at the info on the box in the BUILD menu). Hopefully if they are good landlords they will give you credit for the time you couldn't use your land. Once LONG ago I waited four days for they landlord to show up and by then I didn't care any more AND he wasn't giving me credit. So you were good to only pay the minimum. Smart

In the past they have been playing games within a game such as "Tiny Empires". Don't know if that is still around. I see folks in the same location not moving fairly often and mostly on Linden land so not traffic bots :D.

In one of the first screenshots (not the first set) it has download cost at about 6 which would be reasonable. When changed TO PRIM it became much higher -- so it is a physics issue. Lots of shots, lots of chatter LOL. Easy to miss, but yes your insights are certainly true. You really don't need to see a big building FOUR sims away *wink*.

Did you get the lindens you bought? If you did then the only way to get your you money back would be to cash in those lindens and take a hit on the price, naturally. There is NO time between making a buy and getting the goods (or selling) so I can't see how you could get a refund. I have never heard of The Lab taking lindens out of somoeone's account, they can only USE dollars for payments such as tier. Anyway, this is NOT the place to fix things. Just other residents here. No power :D.

Is a counter notification going to work? From the original info given it doesn't seem like there was a DMCA filed, just someone on the Marketplace took the items off because of Marketplace "policy". Presumably there would be a way to contact the person sending the email about the "Intellectual Property Policy". Agree that relisting would be a very bad plan and could end up with a deletion of account

Well as a test I just logged a very old dusty alt who had NEVER been to the beta grid onto the beta grid. Aside from the fact she was a cloud, she was there and could upload. So something else must be going on. Perhaps your account is too new? I didn't look to see how long you have been here. Anyway the beta grid is not broken and folks that haven't been there before CAN login. Just for the record :D. PS. It IS possible that you might need payment info on file. So if you don't have that, it could be the reason. EDIT: Well I just went and looked up your account and it is completely empty. It looks like a "greifer" account (not saying that it is) and no payment info on file. So I can see why you might be having an issue with support. Good luck working that out.

Well last month was my best in ten years so hard to beat that. Two of the venues I am in were pretty much not worth it money-wise, another (gacha) event was normal but not like November. Sales are better at my main shop but I have an Advent Calendar going on. Marketplace sort of so so. December is traditionally slow -- well there IS that real life thing LOL. So I am pretty much where I am normally and that is GOOD for December.

Well you won't get your sign up bonus if that was part of the deal and usually is. You won't be able to have a Linden home or own mainland. They USED TO keep paying your stippend back to you even if you downgrade but I have no idea if that is correct now. I personally see no reason to downgrade NOW -- or why did you even do the premium thing in the first place? LOL. You already paid for the quarter. They aren't going to give that back.

LOL. I just redid my very popular "filler buildings with shops" from -- well at least three years ago. They are still fine and still very usable and still sell very well ---- BUT BUT BUT -- they just aren't as PRETTY as they could be. So took them all apart after exporting via viewer since I had NO IDEA where that old file was (I try but it gets messy in my file explorer). I made each texture separate and baked them all and it is so very "real" looking now. Only two textures - one for the building and one if you want to use the fire escape. So major improvement there too. WE DO LEARN AS WE GO ALONG -- and three or more years at maybe 8 hours a day is a LOT of learning LOL. But yes, it WOULD have been easier (and I have seen this before on other projects) just to rebuild. But, sometimes there is the "nostalgia" factor and maybe something like 3D Genealogy LOL. Who knows. But your comment made me smile!
