UnilWay SpiritWeaver
Today I am trying to pick between 'desk' setups. Previous: Possible replacement:
Leora Greenwood
It is a hard choice! The only thing I would do differently is turn the desk around and perhaps move it to another part of the room so you can look out a window. If that is not possible, I would put a faux window on the blank wall just behind you since I always have to have a distraction to look at, LOL. 😁 Edited September 22, 2023 by Leora Greenwood typos, typos
animats
This looked familiar. Casino sign, Helios Casino at the WelcomeHub. Here's what it's copied from. Spire, Marin County Civic Center, California. This is a famous work by Frank Lloyd Wright. It's part of the Marin Civic Center, a US National Historic Landmark. Built in 1957, it still looks futuristic, and has appeared in science fiction movies. The spire is a standalone decorative structure, not a tower on top of a building. It's from Wright's tall pointy object period. His drawings of unbuilt works, notably the proposed Arizona Capitol and Broadacre City, contain more tall pointy objects. This is the largest one actually constructed. 11

RL me gets very nervous if it's possible for people to be behind me when I'm seated, so I position desks like in the picture with my back to the wall. I really like the short desk, but it's a harder match with the furniture. But I did buy some more items from the shop I got it from, that might work well. The short desk kept with a laptop that has a Japanese keyboard but I switched it for the one here that I got from an event. I am going to try to get it to work because this room is from my houseboat. My log Cabin has the tall desk already: (Which breaks my 'rule' about windows behind me, so might get an edit at some point.) I am slowly looking to give each space more unique items, but at this point it's still largely the same items in both spaces. Bagnu
I saw @Jordan Whitt online, so I invited her. It's the first time she visited our Island. Thanks Jordan, for popping over!!! She didn't have a lot of time, so it was just a very quick tour of a couple of spots. Probably doesn't support my body kit though, since I'm using reBorn's newest mod kit. But it looks really cool.

I suppose it's mostly done by girls? They sing it a bit differently than I did (do), but the clapping in this one is exactly the version I learned. Kathleen Hanna and Joan Jett also play and sing it together at the beginning and through other parts of Bikini Kill's "Demirep."

Just to get stuff back on track (so to speak), in celebration of the railway in front of my parcel no longer being a war zone, the Harbourmaster of Innsmouth took me on a bit of a rail trip.

Love Zhaoying
I imagine that these "clapping games" are the origin of: - "Clap-back" - "Clap-Trap" - "Nice cakes!" (for those who favor "Patty Cake") 3
