He wrote the album when 17. A mix of avant garde classical and Jazz fusion styles. Normally I'm not into his performances, although he has achieved an awful lot over the years, touring the globe and being very successful. He is a bit to much of a showman for my liking. Then why this video? Because of Emma Kok. A 15 year old girl with a terrible illness. Mr Rieu tells about it when he introduces her, a bit in Dutch but he translates it all into English.
