I've been around SL and these forums for over a decade now and I'm pretty sure I have never seen anyone say "Second Life is perfect......" Everyone here will admit that there are problems with SL. Yet, by the same token, a very large percentage of the problems experienced by users truly are due to their computer setup or their ISP/network or an installation/configuration problem.

A few creators put out "functional demos" that are simply limited in colors, but still fully wearable, thus it might not be a mistake.

Yeah, but it never shows anything more than current or prev day on your profile page -- and apparently never counts more than that either. If you check my profile, it shows nothing about days won, yet I have won lots of them in the past.

A while back most of the stuff related to that got messed up. The leaderboard 'past' tab used to show more than just today. If you didn't win the current or previous day then it shows nothing about any of your previous wins. So, yeah, it is all messed up. By the same token, you could have won March 3rd, but then someone else came along later and liked a bunch of posts from someone else on that day and bumped them to higher than you, thereby taking away your 'day won'. You can always go to the Leaderboard and put in a custom date to check: https://community.secondlife.com/leaderboard/

Check your firewall and anti-virus to ensure one of them is not blocking the login. Anti-virus software is sometime a bit too aggressive with SL. Have you ever successfully logged in with this computer? If so, what else might have changed? Windows patches, network changes, ISP, etc...?

@Prokofy Neva - Are you ever NOT downright nasty to anyone that doesn't support 100% of what you believe to be true?

Are you getting an error message or is the viewer just dying or ????? A bit more info could be helpful. If the viewer does actually start, but the login does not work, click on Help / About in the view top menu -- copy and paste the results here. Knowing your system setup helps.

One of my alts has the free TMP from a while back. When they started this 'free clothing' thing, I really tried to get my alt some clothes, but I think I only managed 3 or 4 items before that dreadful shopping experience sent me running away. Not common. The TMP stuff requires a shopping HUD in order to buy anything at their store. It is the worst shopping experience ever.

Iron? In my world, with only a few exceptions, if it needs ironing whenever it comes from the dryer, it promptly goes into the donation pile.
