This is good advice Jewell. I assume you are talking about that part of my comments. In reality though, I'm not sure how PayPal would react if you wanted to remove your bank account and then maybe re-add it later. PayPal has a list of all of the authorizations that you have done and you can revoke them. It might be better to revoke the authorization and then not re-authorize unless you truly want to allow the LL transaction at a later date. Truthfully, I'm not really sure which method would be better if you were trying to limit the access to the PayPal account, without totally messing up the ability to use it again later.

And Grid Status still says all is great. Ugh, good thing I have some stuff queued up on the DVR, because it looks to be a rough night for SL

They appear to still be revolting, and possibly without LL knowledge. Grid status currently says all is hunky-dory, but I was disconnected, then my "logging in" took forever and then I got disconnected after 3-4 min. Now taking a while to get back in again

Now that is a damn good idea. I have grabbed a screen shot of my face and kept that up on my other monitor while I work on myself, but the two monitors are not identical thus the coloring is never exactly the same. That always drove me crazy. I prefer your way much, much better.

I've considered picking up some of the Death Wish coffee specifically for Monday mornings.

Oddly, I find that this quite often resolves the issue for me too. Interestingly enough, this not only applies to textures that seem to want to stay grey, but sometimes parts of buildings and other objects that don't rez. I TP out & back and suddenly everything is there and crystal clear within 1-2 seconds of re-arrival.

I have no clue why, but yes, for me the texture loading has been much slower lately - over the past 4-6 weeks maybe.

Prepaid ones don't work anymore. Well, at least not with LL directly. Once the PayPal account is verified, you might be able to fund it with a prepaid.

Assuming there isn't a "minimum" that would require you to buy more than L$1150 - Create a PayPal account, tie it to your bank account and get it verified. Then fund it by adding $6.00 from your bank -- this assumes PayPal doesn't have a minimum that is higher than that (though I think they do). After the $6.00 is in your PayPal account, then go buy L$1150 - note that at the 'current' exchange rate that will cost you $4.59 for the L$ plus another $0.99 for the transaction fee. That only totals up to $5.58, so you'll have a bit left over from your $6.00, but the $6.00 will cover any slight variance in the exchange rate at the time you do this. When you finally get all of that done, you'll want to remove your bank account from your PayPal account so that you don't accidentally run a purchase through. Oh - and it will take a few days to get PayPal verified and fund it from your bank.

f your PayPall does not typically carry a balance and if the funding source is your bank account rather than a credit card, then linking it basically is a one-off payment. This is because any PayPal that is funded via a bank account must actually already have funds in the PayPal account. That is due to the fact that LL will not wait for your bank to give the money to PayPal at the time you want to use it. You could add your credit card, but L$ and then remove it - nothing says your payment method has to remain on your account. HOWEVER, note that you likely would not be able to repeat those steps without LL flagging your account for possible fraud activity. So think long and hard about it if you consider going that route.
