  1. LoveAngeL Lyre wrote: Hello to all. I had a discussion with a male and female friend yesterday evening about this subject so i thought to start this thread. The female friend told me that recently spent 1300L$ to buy a pair of heels from a very known brand in SL but when she worn them she dissapointed because they had invisible prims arround them. Immidiately she contacted the creator asking or for a replacement or for a refund. Creator answered that she works only with invisible prims but eventually gave the lindens back to my friend. The male friend said that he has difficulties to find qualitative shoes and boots at Marketplace or in stores in world without invisible prims, although he doesn't care about the cost. So i want to ask: Why many creators (some of them very known) continue to work still with invisible prims? Is because this way shoes fit better? Or maybe lack of knowledge? What you prefer ladies and gentlemen here to buy? Shoes / boots with invisible prims, without, or you don't care? I prefer to buy shoes with Alpha layer and without insivible prims because i think the transparency arround the shoe "destroys" all its elegance line and beauty. Opinions? I prefer both options. I am clinging to a very stable 1.23.5 viewer but will switchout as soon as LL offers a skin choice on V3 [silver skin please] When I get new boots/shoes I request that the designer send along the invisi-prim fix too, if they do not offer it, I do not purchase, but I let the designer know. ;-)

I don't know of a club/ or stream that would be that specialised, but let me know if you find one. Those would be them, Madchester, yeah. There used to be such a club but it closed ages ago. I don't even remember the name any more. That was The Twisted Wheel Club in SL and yes, it is gone, resting in inventory of the creator, I suppose.
  3. Let's try this again, shall we? Weloome to SL & SLF. My best advice is to travel the grid in search of beautiful and fun places. Explore your dreams and see if they are actualized here. It really can become Your World, Your Imagination. [eta forego any urges to post YouTube links ;-)]
  4. I would love to try the quest but I can not navigate to the inital start point to actually get started. I love games in SL IAL was a stellar FPS [with lag to make it interesting] Every single person who spent any time on the IAL sims pines for their return. There were no linden dollars to chase but we had one heck of a time making our goal to have Central Park Green Rez Circle at Midnight.. I would have voice off in the Quest areas as SOP.
  5. Was just at Violet and it is Ahern Annex with loud talking and some dude playing electric guitar over voice mini-fail because of local "color" and sensory assult before the signs even rezzed.

In mine, they are random dates (untied to listing date, latest edit, or latest sale)...not sure what they are intended to communicate or where to find the info. hmm, also just noticed the last two entries on my unassociated list won't allow me to show the "actions" - the button is there and the drop down menu appears, but it hidden underneath the section border... Yes, what is the date and what determined that? I have one yellow stuck item that I can't edit also, is this ticket time? ;-)
  7. My favorite SL Game was IAL http://iamlegendsurvival.warnerbros.com/ would love to have it return. I would even [gasp] pay to play.
  8. CommerceTeam Linden wrote: Simerion wrote: Hi, I am shopping away and spending quite a few lindens...but I'm not getting the products. The order goes through, the merchant sends, I click ok when the grey box pops up and asks if I accept....and then the item is NOT placed in my inventory. If it was free stuff I would just let it ride, but it isn't. Contacting several merchants has produced zero response because I imagine that having clicked OK they figure it is not their issue, and they are right. How can I get the items that are supposedly mine now and yet nowhere in my inventory. Note: I have gone through all of the recommended steps that you all were kind enough to give me when this problem started a week or so ago. It's still happening, and the steps still don't fix it. I am about ready to stop shopping, which would be a bummer. Please check to ensure that your Objects folder is clear. If there are too many products in that folder your SL Inventory may not be able to show the products that have been received. If you have purchased the products through Marketplace remember to submit a Failed Delivery Report through the Support Portal so that the items can be redelivered to you. And just what is the limit? It wouldn't be 200 would it? My best advice to the OP is do contact the merchant. If that is happening to customers then I will happily deliver in folders to the person who bought the product and do that in-world face to face if necessary.

They did it for Non-US accounts a while back, when they introduced a new third party payment processor. But in America, we only had the ability to have one payment method filed, and used for any payment types. I am so behind I just noticed this today and it really rocks!

  11. tako Absent wrote: Also check out ORACUL at kuso, kuso sim. They have lots of funny and cute typing animation and they are really cheap like 10L per animation. This! I love the one that uses just one finger per hand it is hysterical!
  12. I agreed with you, Venus. I read the notes and having run large forums [non-SL] before with very active members who had strong opinions, I know that forums can become quite a hand full. These Forums have many folks who are a wealth of knowledge, super helpful and very creative. The Lab needs to realize that their heavy-handed moderation is simply not going to fly. Folks will once again leave in droves and the SLF will be a vast wasteland of SPAM and boring ;-) LL, in the spirit of transparency, lift those bans and let's have some fun here.

I need to find an awesome blaster that I can gifted, but I don't no nothing about killing zombies. Can you help me pick a weapon that will keep the zombies out of her hair? Are they VICE or DCS Zombies? [huds/scoring system] I am giving you a box of guns to play with;-) be sure to wear the crosshair too.
  14. Jamiee Daines wrote: i got a message that they were restarting the sim in one minute. Never say any other warnings. At the time I was placing items because I didn't know that SL was going to screw me. How do I contact support as I am a free member? I have yet to get anyone from SL to respond before.... about thing, ever! If you know the exact names of the items, they may be able to do an inventory audit and see if they can restore it to your inventory. Support ticket. https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/
  15. What sort of breedables did you have in mind? If you own the land then as long as you do not go over your prim limit there is no issue.
  16. Welcome back and as to the others still MIA, Pep you have the Con ;-)
  17. I find less folks posting Events since they only allow you to post 5 events a day. There are rules, they are enforced and monitored. I both post events and buy classified and suggest you do the same providing the owner of the land/group has given you posting rights. my $2L:smileywink:
  18. We get AO slide walk on LeTigre with the MDHU GuyBasicv2 TKD HUD . http://slurl.com/secondlife/van%20Eyck/109/150/67
  19. Yikes!! My best research is this from a stickied thread: Submitting a Customer Support Ticket If you have an issue with the Marketplace, submit a customer support ticket, select Marketplace as the type of problem and choose among these options:: Marketplace failed delivery: If you have not received an item you paid for, please submit a support request that includes the order number and the name(s) of the item(s) that failed to be delivered. You may also contact the seller directly. Marketplace item listing issues: Select if you are a merchant and have questions about Listing Enhancements, product listings, or listing guidelines. In your ticket, please include a link to the item you have questions about. General Marketplace issues: Use if you have one of the following issues:Commission refund: If you are a merchant and you have refunded a customer for a purchase, Linden Lab will refund the commission to you. Please refund the entire price to the customer, then submit a ticket that includes the SLM order number, buyer’s name, and the line from your Second Life transaction history. Bug reports: If you believe you have found a new bug and are not sure if you should file a JIRA, please submit a ticket with details on the problem. Include what you were doing when you encountered the issue, the exact text of error messages, the operating system and browser versions you are using, and screen shots if possible. Shopping cart issues: please submit a ticket with details on what you are seeing. Negative reviews for failed deliveries: you should flag the review instead of using the Customer Support Portal.
  20. Chelsea Malibu wrote: We had a large thread on this a while back that yielded some amazing input. In fact, I posted a commitment to my customers that I have in my stores today around this and other things I see as errors in merchandising. You can see the thread at: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Commerce-Forums-General/New-to-retail-This-is-what-your-customers-hate/td-p/512637 The pledge I made and hope more will follow is: As a conscience business owner who is more concerned with creating unique works that others can enjoy than making lindens, I am committed to good customer service and value in my products. As such, I pledged to support my customers and to understand their wants and needs while providing the best of my talents at a reasonable price. Therefore I pledge to you, my valued customer to provide you with the following: I will not spam you with group joins, landmark givers and note cards. You can make that decision after you have seen my work and I hope you do return, but I will not fill your inventory my stuff unless it is what you want. Anything you buy here, you can rezz here. I will not sell you items in a box that you cannot open in my stores. If you do leave something here, this land is set to auto return. I will keep my stores set up in logical order and by department. I will make it easy for you to buy my creations while also making it easy to find them. Everything I make is modifiable. If you own it, it’s your right to modify it. My scripts are not mod therefore, you may see something in your inventory that shows No Modify but I assure you, when you try to adjust the prims, they will modify. Anything that you cannot make copies of, you can transfer and anything you can transfer, you will not be able to make copies of. It’s a fair trade off and I believe you deserve one or the other. I will show my work to you as it is without misleading ads, images or claims. I work very hard on my wares and I take pride in my work. I want to earn your business and hope you recommend me to your friends. I will name my products appropriately so you can find them in your inventory and include as much information as possible in that name to help you should you have problems remembering what you bought. I will spell check my note cards and if needed, will help you personally when you need assistance. I will come to your home or place of business, if needed, when you have issues with any product you bought from me. I stand 100% behind my work even if it’s working perfectly, I want you to be happy with your purchases and I truly want your home or business to look the best it can look. I will not force you to land in one spot and will allow you to teleport to anyplace within my store, or teleport your friends here. I will not scan your IP address or attempt to capture your personal information through RedZone or any other devices. I will remove anyone in my store that does this and is not respectful to my customers. I will replace or refund any product you purchased that you are not 100% satisfied with. I will respect your taste, your lifestyle and your background and I will never treat you as if you are a nuisance. You are important and to me, you are never a newbie, we just have different rez dates. As much as I am a creator and merchant, I too am a consumer and these are what I want when I shop. If you find anything you want or need and I do not provide it, I am always open to suggestions. Your opinion matters to me! This! Excellent advice and business practices! + 5<3
  21. I would find out if it is group SPAM or Subscriber SPAM and either leave the group or unsubscribe from the subscriber kiosk.
