It's been months since I've danced on a bar with you!! :smileyvery-happy: I left the Flash Dance Group because they were not what I expected ;-( Were you wanting to "flash" while you danced? :smileytongue: lol nope ;-) I think I may be too tied to the music scene to do them justice .. I know too many of the acts and clubs plus I own a club so maybe it would be best to let my sister dance with them;-) She is footloose and fancy free.

NYMWASOB Koga wrote: People are getting fed-up with the Linden / Marketplace crowd refusing to act with integrity and take care of rip-offs and problems, and with the Linden Dictatorship in general. I want people to show they still have a spine, and to start uniting in an indefinite protest against this overlord attitude until the Linden / marketplace crowd and in-world merchants drop the attitude and start acting with integrity. I've been around for a long time, and this garbage never changes, and usually just gets worse; all the talk-talk-talk never changes it and I have had enough of it! The only way to get these people to wake up is to start hitting them in the pocket ! How many times have people tried to submit a ticket - and IF they even succeed, they don't get even a reply or answer until the last minute or never at all, eh? - Does anybody else out there have a spine??? see that big red X in the upper right hand corner both here and in world? Use it, please.

Cause when i make a box and put the cloths in it or something else. The stuff is NO COPY. If someone pay the box they will be the owner of the box and will stay on the ground it wont come into there inventory. Is there a easier way to fix this? Or do i need to make board that say when u buy pick the box up into you inventory? I hope some can help me out They need to take the box. Then they will have what they now own;-)
  6. Let me be the first to Godwin this ;-)
  7. Vladi Hazelnut wrote: Plantronics Gamecom http://www.okaygeek.com/blog/plantronics-gamecom-377-gaming-headset-review.html A little large, but they sound great and mic works fantastic. Picks me up just fine but won't pick other noises in the room. Yes this and a Yamaha one also that does pickup background noise. I am having issues with getting voice in V3 to work correctly. It seems there is an auto-squelch happening that only transmits every other word.
  8. Ann Otoole wrote: You missed it. Just came back up. Heh I was going to try chrome and could not get to google.com either. All back to normal. Well drat! I miss a lot of stuff. Seems to me that there are many potholes using web-based stuff to serve assets to SL. Profile pictures won't zoom anymore either.
  9. Accessing from the internet only, I see images just fine using Chrome. Ann Otoole wrote: Currently I see no images on SLM products. In listing preview I see what looks like a UUID or some identifier where the images should be. I see no images whether logged in or not. Anyone else observing the same? Edit: It appears there is a problem reaching cloudfront.net. All the images are delivered from there. As long as cloudfront.net is not reachable then no images on SLM. Cloud computing at it's best. Edit 2: A website checker also reports cloudfront.net down so either it is down or there is a routing problem affecting their data center.

  11. Emma Geraln wrote: I've never had trouble listing an event, I use the work Rock all the time .... ... Of course if your friend was listing something like: C*m down and get your rocks off at our super spanky bonking club... Lots of naked humans, furrries and other mamanls... ... Maybe the filter got it... A while back when they first changed the system Rock was verboten but they made it less strict with regards to ban/moderated words. I use events all the time to list, [as well as various Social Media sites] Group announcements are great but does not gather new folks, being in Destinatons helps but then there is the training new folks issue;-)
  12. Maryanne Solo wrote: Brilliant Syl! and ty for sending the invite to Kylie & I'll make sure Emma gets one! (no obligations to join of course). Such a diverse group and some really nice folks in it too. I had no idea Eloise was in flashies! \o/ That's pretty much the type of person who seems to become a flasher .. o.0 .. if u know what I mean *winx. Beg pardon and hiii Eloise :^) wuhooo Trav will love this, not many flashies read the forums. woot I love to dance and just joined! :smileyvery-happy:
  13. Emma Geraln wrote: Now I got your attention.... why don't people use the events listings more? I'm in world right now and for once I'm at lose end, no renters want me, I'm not DJing and I feel like going somewhere new. I just looked in the events listing for 4pm and as usual it pretty light on activities. Apparently twelve events are taking place in the all of second Life at 4pm and those are the same ones that are always listed by the few people that remember to use this free service. People look at these listings and if more events got listed more people would use them! Get your events advertised Love you all, Emma Go checkout the BURN2 Sims before they close. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Burning%20Man-%20Silver%20Seed/2/38/2 Super art there :smileyhappy:
  14. Never IM someone that just logged in until you are sure their inventory has loaded.

Finally, it would be extermely good if LL provided a post event team to help with any problems that may arise during this process.[...] they did tell you... you just didn't understand.... OS upgrades... which is just updating the machines that SL runs on, not SL itself (security patches, maybe some minor improvements on how they work), and what's going to happen (extra region starts, caused by them swapping out machines that those regions are running on). since restarts are all that should be happening, regions shouldn't be down for excessive amounts of time. if they are, treat it the same way you treat any restart that doesn't come back up... report it to live chat, or via a ticket (on of the few ticket types that gets almost immediate response). and if something goes horribly wrong they'll post it in the gridstatus page as usual (not that I think that's effective or sufficient for a great many things, but it's what's likely to happen) I do prefer the popup notices for restarts myself too though. Server farm movement ya think? ;-) I prefer popups too.

Name, relationship status, occupation, interests, biological / birth gender, criminal record etc. But when it comes to this kind of technology, Google is a much bigger privacy threat than Facebook imho. At least Zuckerberg and his henchmen rely on people to voluntarily provide their photos and personal information, whereas Google just takes whatever it wants. 17. Bid4aCure is proud to announce the return of our goods auction in a brand new format. 2011 sees the incarnation of our Silent Auction. Auction Boards have been placed around our Event Park and will remain there for residents leisure in bidding, through Friday 9/30/2011 at Midnight. Last Chance to bid folks on some wonderful stuff! Our new system allows residents to place their bid and be informed when they have been outbid by another resident. Once you have been outbid, your lindens are returned to you so that you may return and outbid the resident who outbid you. How's that for generating some furious bidding wars! Generous creators such as Robin Lobo, Ilyra Chardin, Carrie Snowpaw, Adrian Harbinger, Zepher Dibou, Falkor Seriman, Hare Fadoodle, Argus Collingwood and many more have donated a variety of items including cottages, manors, bears, planes, gowns, landscaping items, clothing, sculptures, a concert stage, a luxury motor boat and much more.
