No errors or anything of the sort! HELP! lolol You might want to check this thread out ... http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Merchants/EXISTING-MARKETPLACE-JIRAS-ISSUE-LOG/td-p/1459899 if your issue does not fit into any of those cited JIRAs you may want to write a new one about your issue:)

Yes that’s correct 3 different fields of data from 3 different creators. It’s also clear to me that some creator names that appear are not merchants and never have been. Wow - that's transcended into art... What was the date Skynet achieved sentience? Wouldn't that be Non-Performance Art? :-) That date will be April 1, 2012.

FYI - I mentioned my business partner who is in a coma in few days ago. I found out this morning that he passed away overnight. I just hope there was family around him when he died. This is a sad sad day for me. Rotten India: Born 03/02/2009, Died 03/30/2012 beati qui lugent: quoniam ipsi consolabuntur
  6. Keeping this visible because voting and watching these JIRAs will at least help us feel empowered.
  7. Dresden Ceriano wrote: The reason the Received Items folder looks that way is because the Phoenix developers forgot to include the icon for it in the last version they released. It's fixed in the latest version (1.6.1.1691), which means you need to update. From the Phoenix Viewer website (http://www.phoenixviewer.com/): Important Phoenix Viewer Update 1.6.1.1691 This is a VERY important update! Most important in this release and a reason you really all need to update is because in version 1600 we missed a very important inventory folder icon for Direct Delivery. LL will be enabling this feature on March 21st and without this update you're inventory window will become "Visibly" broken. Hope this helps ...Dres Exactly so:)
  8. Jarnz Dench wrote: Guessing the time and place will be released like the day before or something, but be sure it'll be posted here and on the inworld merchant group. But from the wording here it seems like there will be a few meetings. I for one can't wait for it, miss the old days of marketplace office hours and the chaos invloved, break out the popcorn! Mhm... might be a tad attended too;-)
  9. Inara Pey wrote: In fairness, there was no guaranttee today's maintenance would address the issue. Given the maintenance was planned for today, then delayed, then postponed until Monday April 2nd, before finally going ahead, suggests they were looking to Monday for a fix & had planned perhaps to roll everything together (todays maintenance and a fix), but someone higher up ordered the previously-planned maintenance to go ahead as planned, minus anything else. Maybe will see another maintence period if the fix is close to being ready...? Would be nice to get something more informative from LL directly, however.... Ok however, when something is broken and no warnings are given concerning that to the Shoppers, we merchants look very foolish to have mixed listings in our stores or incorrect photos and *if* this is a database issue adding/changing/buying etc are just adding to the database problems.

  11. Sera Lok wrote: Nope, not fixed. They brought the review counts back. That's the only change I can see. Several of my listings are still messed up, and it looks as though I might have a couple new listings messed up that weren't before. >.< Oh joy;-) Woohoo Review counts. Please don't tell me that they did not re-index . /me says in Homer Voice "Augh Un-do Undo!"

  14. Sassy Romano wrote: When I asked for my money to be sent, this was the response:- Hello Sassy Romano, Thank you for contacting Linden Lab Support! Customer Support is unable to issue manual refunds for content purchased through the Marketplace website. We are only able to assist with redelivery of products purchased from other residents through the Second Life Marketplace. All refunds for product purchases are done through the sellers, since the sellers are the ones who are paid for the sale of their products. It will be necessary for you to contact the seller directly inworld for assistance with receiving a refund for your purchase from them. Thank you for being a valued resident of Second Life! Have a great day! I responded appropriately and wished them a great day too! they have failed "reading comprehension" Good grief.. can anyone say Catch 22?
  15. Sounds more like they paid with PayPal to me. Those orders take much longer to get the payment to you. Also, it says it was delivered 3/23 so I do not think it was stuck;-)
  16. Big thanks to everyone involved with this contest! All the entries were wonderful artistic expressions of Spring Fashion. This was a fun event:)
  17. Darrius Gothly wrote: Random, try this: COPY 100 items from a Magic Box into your Local Inventory. Copy those 100 items into the Merchant Outbox (probably best to do a few at a time) Send to Marketplace Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all 100 have been sent up to the Marketplace and are marked as "Direct" in the Manage Listings page Go back to your Magic Box and DELETE those same 100 items from the Magic Box Sync Marketplace with Magic Boxes After you complete step 6 and give it a few minutes to complete the Sync, those 100 items you deleted from the Magic Box should ALSO be gone from Unassociated Inventory. Then just go back to step 1 above and do the NEXT 100 from that same Magic Box. When you've fully emptied the Magic Box, delete the Magic Box from In-World. Next go into the Magic Box Status page and Force Remove the Magic Box you just deleted and .... Sync Marketplace with Magic Boxes one more time. That should speed things up quite a bit and won't make you delete Unassociated one at a time. Well said:)) [now after they dump the throttle things should be much easier]
  18. BellaDonna Mocha wrote: I'm having to delete my "Unassociated Inventory" one at a time.. With hundreds left and it taking between 3 - 5 minutes each it will take me at least about another 10 hours just to be able to start sending items to the marketplace again. I feel as if I'm caught in "automatic migration" hell. I can imagine there are 1000's of us feeling the same way. Thanks LL for another fine mess. The throttle factor will go away soon, one would hope;-)

  20. Arkesh Baral wrote: I just converted 300 items to DD in under one hour. It's very easy - automatic - if you haven't changed the names of your listings. Here's how I did it: To fill my magic boxes I've always taken copies of my store displays right off the wall, and dropped them into my magic boxes after unsetting the for sale option on the display prim. This way I've kept the Marketplace item names the same as the names you'll see on the displays on my store walls. I did it this way because I was thinking ahead and prefer to do less work rather than more when setting up vendor systems or Marketplace listings. The advantage of doing it this way is that if I need to fix an error in a product or change the contents for some reason, I can just do that to my in-world store display, then take a new copy of the display to replace the old package in the magic box or vendor server. No other/extra name changes or association adjustments are needed. Since DD conversion is automatic for listings that have the same name as the product folder you're uploading, I simply bought each item for myself from my store. I use the default Buy Contents on my store displays (again for simplicty's sake and it's less work, plus folder delivery is so much nicer for the customer) so when I purchase something from myself, I get a nice folder named the same as the display with all the contents inside ready to go. I just dragged these folders to the Merchant Outbox and sent them to Marketplace. Done. Now customers will get folders with the products inside just like when they shop at my store in world - not a single box to unpack, which is the whole point of DD. Note: I dragged the folders one at a time until I had a bunch in the the outbox ready to upload. I noticed if I bulk shift-selected folders then some of them wouldn't load the contents to the outbox window. Also, double check each folder real quick to make sure it has all the items that it should. Missing image? https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Mayfly-Realistic-Eyes-London-Fog-FREE-COLOR/3289850

However I am terrible at navigating within Second Life. I need to setup a small test shop and I was wonderng if anyone could guide me through this ? I can reward you for your time Thanks Muchly Az You might try readng the Wiki about the SL economy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Second_Life You might try the Merchant forum too. Will your test shop be to accumulate data or actually selling stuff? You see, we all are pioneers here that have done things our own way [win or lose] and that is part of the reasons we love SL, thinking outside the box :matte-motes-wink-tongue:
