Took some time out to demo a few buildings i think this roost one is going be my next home frivolous me says buy this pool version you'll be saving on Li, sensible me says save L$400 & an extra 8-10 Li and buy the no pool version

Most of the stuff i wear i could happily get away with wearing in RL in my early days of SL lots of the stuff was a little too risque for RL. Nice thing about SL while lots of the fashion might be similar to RL you can wear all the things you'd never normally wear

Feeling a bit under dressed

The most common one is Hi or hello especially if I've noticed it quickly, replied hi or hello to see if they want something and they don't reply. Also the ones begging for money are really annoying too One I find annoying if I go to a game sim is I will sometimes get messaged "do you want to get banned?" By someone who out of a sim full of games thinks it's their God given right to waltz in and have the one i'm in the middle of using even though there's several other identical machines they could play. I don't waste my time responding but the really p****d ones will follow it up with the threat of "you will be"

You'd be a fool to give up such a good plot over a piece of Armco by the looks of things the barrier doesn't extend across the whole width of your plot some modifying/landscaping may be needed but you could have a long driveway going up to your garage starting where the Armco ends rather trying make the shortest route work

Are you sure your SL mum sent the L$3,300 to the right person? It's quite easy to send the L$ to the wrong person by mistake if you don't take the time to check who the money is actually going to i've done before myself once or twice wanted to send my alt some money assumed i was paying my alt wasn't till i sent the thankfully small amount L$ i saw the notification it said i'd paid another friend

That refers to land donated to a group if you want to get in to renting out mainland what you should do is create a group and donate tier to that group aside from the cost of buying land your first 1024sqm of land is included in your premium membership doesn't incur any any additional fees the land you buy should be bought by your land group so the land becomes group owned and then in your group you should set up a group role for your renters go through that role and give them parcel rights such as being able to ban people, change media settings, change parcel name, allow terraforming, rezzing Linden plants etc. what ever you feel is appropriate if you are going to rent a whole piece of land to one person. this knowledge base article should explain some more about group owned land

That's strange when I try to tap it on my phone nothing comes up it seemed fine on the computer when I posted it Edit: Re-uploading appears to have fixed it

Toggling the layers on/off doesn't work did you try the mask option in the HUD as Dementia suggested, I'm glad this post came up as I was having a similar issue with an applier for Maitreya and the suggestion for using mask mode cured my problem shame the included notecard didn't mention this

After getting really frustrated with the marketplace and having loads of things come up that were totally unrelated to what i was looking for i went to stuff my face with a big slice or three of chocolate cake at a cafe

I used to use an anti-AFK HUD for a time and it prevented you from going in to and activating away mode if you tried to activate 'away' it would stop it half a second later you never got the away pose

As soon as i knew how disable Away mode i disabled it as at the time if you AFK'd more that 30 minutes you were logged i sure i must have been caught out by the time out once or twice. i now just stick with busy mode if i'm going to be AFK for long periods

No way there's enough beggars and begging bots in world i think such a thing will just encourage more people to wave their begging bowls around hoping for handouts

I think Kyrah has right about customer service i have seen on profiles and product listings creators that have a very arrogant attitude towards customer service one that really sticks out was someone who was a self proclaimed very important busy person and that any IM's and notecard's needing CS would not be responded to as you were deemed to be wasting their time

Looks like TMP are still trying to flog their body at L$500 both me and my alt who own the free body and i imagine other free body owners got sent a flyer (texture) from a TMP owned server promoting the L$500 full bodies. mesh heads and free clothes, probably to try squeeze out what L$ they can before pulling the plug

May be worth your while having a browse round the popular shopping events like Uber, Fameshed & Collabor88 you'll be hard pushed to find any fashion brands that aren't creating sometimes exclusively for Maitreya the only exceptions really would be footwear that can only be worn with Slink kitten or pointe feet otherwise you're pretty much spoilt for choice

Never did any MMO's or online games any games i did do didn't need the interwebs or was stuff like Tetris & bejewelled used waste time on stuff like Myspace Last.fm or message boards of bands i was in to one of which i was a mod of. SL was my first foray in to virtual worlds

If you were in Linden realms it's full of griefers and crashers when i could realm going a single day with out being griefed or lagged out was almost unheard of all the people doing the griefing they would use HUDs and attachments worn on them and they would attach to you with the exception of the worn crasher and lagger objects you could easily stop a griefer pushing you around in their tracks and get them sent home by the sentinels (clouds) by activating force ground sit (Ctrl + Alt + S in firestorm) as soon as the grief attack started. In the Linden Realms (unofficial) group i often still see reports of griefers and crashers and people moaning they are not getting punished despite claiming they've AR'd them, whilst trying to access a 'secret' realm that no longer exists i discovered when scrolling round the map was enough to earn me an instant ban What's in your block list is almost certainly an item worn and used by another user if you do keep getting attacked by other residents while realming do AR them it's unlikely anything will happen based on my own experiences and whats reported in group but sometimes AR's do work

That's good to know already use GA as my system skin so will bare the GA Logo ones in mind when i eventually get a head
