Am I the only Aussie reporting in so far? I thought there were a few of us running around the forums. Hubs was from the UK though, before my siren song and the thought of warm weather drew him to the bright side of the world. These are what I get to see quite often on my way into work.

Getting arty...well, playing with arty apps anyway. My oil paints take too long to clean up.

I'd say normal - which for SL would be considered abnormal - with a little bit of that middle aged spread added on. I'm usually about 1.7m.

There are a number of things that you can try, Fenris. Rather than just disabling alpha mode, select alpha masking and then play with the level of masking - it defaults at 0 which can give you that black edge. Start it around 50 and move the value up or down as looks best. The other thing is to look at the texture on the upper leg. Make sure there is no alpha in that texture, as layering alpha enabled textures is a huge problem for proper rendering. Just setting that to no alpha, or playing with the levels of masking may help there. Beyond that, you might need someone more familiar with the Kuroo body or that specific mod, but hopefully that's given you a start.

Been playing with a new shape...thought it was time to take her out and about for a photo shoot.

These were my first two Peony accounts from 2008. I don't have my really early Av attempts (complete with dying the "girl next door" dress black for my first LBD). These days my looks are many and varied, and Peony Inaka has turned completely Japanese.

^ what Tari said ^ I mean, I appreciate the longer transaction history so I don't have to remember to download it every month...it'll save me a few minutes. Nice! But I can't think of one person who's going to hear about the longer transaction history and think "man, I should go premium". Now - up the premium to 1024...how many more people would go, "hey, I think it might be time to give premium a try."

Couple other things to try - go to a quiet sim that you know enables scripts and doesn't block them. Take off your AO and then revoke all animations (I can't remember exactly what it's called since I'm not in world...in firestorm I think it's under avatar health). Try rezzing then resetting the scripts in the AO. if all else fails and you have mod/copy rights and use a viewer with inbuilt Ao - move all the animations into the viewer AO and use it that way.

Sometimes the shine settings on body and heads can cause differences, too. Picking a wind light like Nam's skin & prim or CalWL can help. Check if there's a neck fix option with your skin, that can help too. Failing that, a pretty choker or necklace is always an option.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, and you've manage to work around it...but for others experiencing this, it can be worth checking your internet connection. I've had this issue before, and it's always been exacerbated by wifi when my connection is slow.

When I was making my older avs, I found the LeLutka Simone could get an impressive nose and appropriate face shape for an older look, but the lips were harder to lose their youthful, bee-stung look. I found the Eve head not bad for an older look, but I prefer LeLutka animations & HUD. Also, I could easily apply materials to the LeLutka, which helps with the wrinkled, textured skin. I've been contemplating trying a male head as Marianne suggested, so if you go that way, I'd be interested to see how you do. If I can get inworld in the next few days, I might even try that men's head...

And double check you're on script enabled land... it took me an embarrassingly long time to work out that's why mine didn't work one day!
