    Now that I'm looking a little younger, I decided to change my eye colour too. I used to wear purple eyes way back when, so I thought I'd go back to a soft violet. I might even end up red-headed again too...now that I've banished the grey.

    I'd picked up the Akeruka Maia head back when it was out as a group gift, but hadn't really played with it...guess I'm keeping up with my age regression!

    Mine used to be purple for the longest time, especially when I was a red-head. Now I'm tending towards a greenish grey.

    Gone for a slightly younger skin for a while...now looking closer to my real age If you're thinking I look like I've cut my own hair...you're probably right! I made the hat, and then couldn't work out what hair to wear under it. I ended up hacking together a pile of Truth group gift bangs. Probably not ideal. Time to go shopping and see what hat hair I can find (and to think, in RL I try to avoid hat hair!)

    Another vacation buddy here, too! 2 wonderful weeks of school holidays...of course now it means I'll spend most of those 10 hours a day working in my SL store instead... And, yes, I currently have a G&T in my hand. Cheers!

    Cleaned up my Bay City store and had a enough prims left over to set up an inspirational workroom on the top floor. Should make a nice change from my old (and boring) sky platform.

    I recently went to the UK for a wedding. I'd hoped to find myself a nice dress/coat combo to wear for it...but found nothing like I'd pictured in my head. So when I got home, I decided to make my av one in SL. Still working on adding some embroidery to it.

    Good luck with that. A friend of mine was recently diagnosed as being on the spectrum, well into her 30s - a whole lot of things started to make sense for her. It's also helped her family to understand her better and deal with the quirks that make her different. While I don't work with diagnosed autistic kids, a number I know are on the spectrum to varying degrees, and I find them some of the most rewarding and interesting kids to work with.

    Is it mod, and can you change that transparent layer to 'alpha masking'? If you can, play with the level of masking and see if it improves the look.

    Why am I a granny? Well, perhaps not necssarily a granny, but an older avatar...I think I partly went older because I wanted to be different, and to be different in SL these days you almost need to be very normal. Any older avs I'd seen were cartoonishly humerous - I wanted to try for something a bit more Helen Mirren or Judy Dench. And, having decided that as of my last birthday I'm probably officially mid-40s, I'm guess I'm trying to come to terms with (and even embrace) the encroaching grey hair and wrinkles...
