I've just done my sums on the month of August...Looks like I've managed a profit of all of US$7!!! Whoot! Might go buy me a coffee & cake :matte-motes-delicious: Guess I'm always glad to at least break even, but I had been hoping to do a little better with the extra work I'd put in this month...

I love being able to demo hairstyles - I only wish I could in RL! Demos give you the chance to "try before you buy" - usually it will be the same hair that you can purchase, but with an extra prim attached advertising it as a demo. Being L$0 means that you won't have to pay to try the styles to see if it works on your av. Once you've found a demo that you're happy with, check your colour charts and then you can make a purchase with confidence knowing that the product will work for you. Enjoy shopping!

I've been going a bit anime recently too - here's my latest...

One top of some of those things that others have mentioned - my laptop is a lot slower than my regular computer & the screen is smaller - I find that Firestorm copes better with the laptop's limited capabilities. In the end, I think it's a personal thing for most people, and it never hurts to try it.

Thanks for all the discussion on this link - it's been helpful to think through the permissions I set on my goods. Unfortunately it now means I'm going through and changing *a lot!* of those annoying little check boxes! I'm now choosing to put mostly mod/copy items in the marketplace, but pointing them to the mod/trans options that I'm offering in world (I think people still like to gift-give "in person"). Already I can see a noticeable (and positive) change in my sales. But by far the most popular option certainly seems to be for mod/copy permissions.
