  1. Owly Indigo and PT Beardmore as I recall.
  2. Well it's a bit more complicated than that. AMD follows the OpenGL standards strictly, and since its so old they don't do all the hackey stuff that Nvidia still does to make it function properly. This is why Nvidia performs better for SL all around, even on Linux (Which I use also.) Nvidia's drivers contain miles of kludge to make them 'just work' with OpenGL and it does. AMD just does not see a point in taking that road for whatever reason. If at some point in the future Vulkan becomes a thing with SL, AMD gpus will probably perform exceptionally well , on par or surpassing Nvidia in my opinion.
  3. This business owner in California who owns a dining establishment and has been practicing outdoor dining is not allowed to open for business, but just across the way, a movie company is allowed to set up and serve people working on that. So you tell me is it right? I say no.
  4. In my earliest days in SL, I frequented a little coffee shop on a sim called Mill Pond. People were so nice and it was a genuine community, always people to chat with, very helpful. That sim later closed because people used dance animations and the owner didn't like it. That actually happened! lol Later there were a couple of sims named Hallelujah after the Leonard Cohen song. Always tons of friendly people and the owners were super nice also. There was always something fun going on there. Easily the prettiest sims I had ever seen at the time . Seems like ages ago as it's all long gone.
  5. I've seen in a different thread where one user constantly refers to another user as an 'it'. A person is not an 'it' even if you dislike them.
  6. COVID doesn't behave like a normal virus. This is a snippet about how scientists believe it spreads a bit differently in the body than a typical virus.: Snippet: In cell studies, the researchers showed for the first time that the coronavirus can exit infected cells through the lysosome, an organelle known as the cells’ “trash compactor.” Normally the lysosome destroys viruses and other pathogens before they leave the cells. However, the researchers found that the coronavirus deactivates the lysosome’s disease-fighting machinery, allowing it to freely spread throughout the body. https://www.nih.gov/news-events/news-releases/nih-scientists-discover-key-pathway-lysosomes-coronaviruses-use-exit-cells Even if people have only mild cases of COVID, wearing your mask and social distancing is important. If a person has a medical reason not to wear a mask they really should not be out in public places to begin with during this in my opinion. Wear the mask. It's that simple.
  7. Usually rigged on female heads but on some heads, like the Genus one I have, rigged hair does not seem to fit properly around the ears and I can' t seem to make it work using shape edit either. So in that case definitely unrigged. Most hair for male heads are unrigged that I've found, so in those cases almost always unrigged.
  8. lol@IF you're having trouble getting into the sim. More like GOOD LUCK. haha
  9. Finally got in to Lelutka yesterday and managed to get the Nova head(and others!) which I had my eye on for a while. Shape is undergoing revision but I LOVE this head!
  10. It could very well be your router itself. If it cannot handle many http requests that SL viewers generate, it will 'choke' the connection when using wifi. You may also want to look into broadband over electric adapters. You place one at the router , and then the other where your computer is. It basically routes the cable (assuming you have a cable internet connection here )internet signal along the wiring in your home. I've been using this for a few months, and no issues and I get the full speed of my connection always. It's tons better than wifi.
  11. And in Singularity, which I use primarily, you just hover over an avatar and the complexity is shown by default.
