  1. Peeve: People who think they should have some say in other's creative expression, be it 'realistic' or proportional avatars or sideways images. Just let people express themselves how they see fit .
  2. Kubuntu is great I agree, its virtually no hassle. However it does come packed with far too many options by default for a novice IMO. I would recommend Mint Cinnamon or Ubuntu Cinnamon . Cinnamon has matured and it's the closest thing to a Windows desktop environment you can get, and it's super easy to configure and use.
  3. Today is Veterans Day in the U.S. and for all who have served- living and passed on, I thank you!
  4. True that. Sounds like a corrupted Windows install to me in any case.
  5. Safe mode in Windows is really only for troubleshooting , it's not meant to run your pc programs or games 'normally'. You could try repairing your Widows 7 install or fresh installing-which will work if you have the product key. As was suggested earlier, you can update to Windows 10 with your 7 key, but be warned once you activate Win10 with your 7 key, it will no longer work to activate a Windows 7 install as far as I know. Could you list some system specs? Go to Help>about in the viewer and scroll down , begin copying the line at CPU all the way down to Graphics card and post if you can.
  6. I'm sure there will be much more forthcoming this week. Again, it was premature for the media to call the race for Biden/Harris. There is enough funny business going on in swing states with ballots to question the integrity of the election. A full count of all legal ballots is owed to EVERYONE who voted, doesn't matter which party you align with.
  7. Former Attorney General of Nevada Adam Laxalt, who has a verified Twitter Account here.
  8. Posted this on the last page, but putting it here so it can be seen.
  9. Just dropping some information to keep everyone up to date.
  10. Contingent Election If the Supreme Court takes this up and its very likely considering the many irregularities occurring with votes and this type of election has happened 3 times prior in American history. It will go one of two ways, either they will rule that all the unconstitutional mail in ballots will be removed and the states ordered to recount without them or they will simply rule the election is invalid due to mass voter fraud and at that point it will be sent to the congress and senate for a vote. The house/congress votes on who the President will be. It has nothing to do with what party that has power. Every State gets one vote and 30 States are held by Republicans and 20 by Democrats. They have to vote down party lines, they have no choice due to the 12th Amendment of the Constitution. The Senate votes for the Vice President, where a similar event will take place. Just throwing that out there for anyone who thinks it's silly for the President not to concede and to challenge the results in court. There is still very much a lot at stake here .
  11. No need to explain yourself to me, because I knew you were going to reach into your bag of adjectives and attempt to 'other' me in this conversation. It's so common now it doesn't faze me. Either way you don't have to prove anything to me, nor I to you. Best wishes and warmest regards.
  12. I agree with much of this. If the election was clean as most people are screaming then what is a recount going to hurt? Let it happen and then see where it all lands. A tidbit, a concession is not required by law , it's just a courtesy.
