  1. I find your lack of heavy metal disturbing.
  2. I heard about the Christmas Pickle thing a long time ago. Way less disgusting than what they tried back in the day in Norway with hiding lutefisk on the tree. Apparently my family used to hide the vodka AND the pickles, but that was year-round, and just to keep people out of them.
  3. I'm usually 1.3 meters tall. I like going to places that are full of babies so I can pretend I'm a giantess. I try to be careful not to stomp around, so it's okay. Height is such a booger with so many things in SL. It's difficult to even hug a grownup sometimes, if they're too tall. And don't even get me started on dances. So many dances I can't even bother with because I end up underground. I once found an island full of people all with the same last name, and they were all about 9 feet tall with identical faces. It seriously creeped me out. They all must have shared the same house, because it was the size of a castle, and there wasn't room for more than one.
  4. AND IIIIIII DON'T WANNA DIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE.......... I just wanna ride on my motorcy... ...cle. As for pickleing my battles, this is a dill I'm willing to die on. Let them come at me, I'll be over there, looking at the selfy thread, anyway.
  5. I'm going to have to call upon all of you to help me in taking action on the issue of the deregulation of pickles. If we let just anybody make pickles, we run the risk of damaging the entire infrastructure of the industry, as well as potentially lowering the overall value of pickles in the world market. It's a move by those seeking to redistribute and appropriate the market for themselves, and as a conservative, at least on issues concerning conserves, such as pickles, I just can't in good conscience (and neither should you if you're a decent person in any way) allow some far-of-center nutjobs to come in and ruin something that generations of my [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] family have held dear and essential in a world full of the [REDACTED] of those who would [REDACTED] us all in [REDACTED]. Stand with me, keep pickles regular, and not all weird, and remember, pickles are just the beginning! If we don't do something about THIS, what will they try to get away with NEXT?!
  6. I live and work on a horror sim, and you know, it's almost become twistedly gratifying how my normal, everyday avatar is often the scariest thing on the entire sim. Visitors see me and poof instantly. XD If I sense someone will be afraid of me, I usually put on a monster avatar, just so they don't get frightened when I approach them. The irony might stagger me if I ever really stopped to think about it. I already keep my dolly avatar put away most of the time, just because so many people are phobic of dolls. Sorry, but I'm not canning my kid self, ever, cos it's who I am in SL.
  7. It only took me 30-something years to think of searching for this again (I lost my vinyl copy long ago), so I've been jamming out to it lately.
  8. It's a great mental challenge not to simply throw my hands up in the air and give up sometimes. Fortunately, I like being mentally challenged.
  9. Just what I expected, semantic juggling in the face of obvious facts! You can't dodge me that easily! Okay, that felt good, thanks! I really needed it. ^-^ *Hugs*
  10. Marshmallows go with all of the above. Also jam. Prove me wrong~!
  11. See, I don't know if I could pull that one off. EDIT: Stag, I feel like that all the time, that the only thing saving most of humanity is their inability to see it. I've quoted it before, and I'll quote it again, "We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
  12. I would try to make people laugh in this thread, but I can't cos it won't let me create a thread inside this thread, and titled "Pheeby's Big Political Discussion Thread", and then having it be nothing but me trying to get people to argue about marshmallows vs. jam, while I secretly eat marshmallows with jam on them and giggle.
  13. Yeah, take all that stuff back to Animal Crossing and IMVU, where it belongs~!
  14. Totally LL-approved, on-topic, cat picture. Behold, Flash, the demon kitty from Hell. XD
  15. Thank you for reminding me of this... PEEVE: That one darn person who had to break my SL bubble by finally mentioning the whole Amber Heard thing to me inworld. WE WERE DOING SO WELL~! T_T XD
  16. Chillin' like a villain. EDIT: and this is what happens when I accidentally hit "Quote" instead of "Edit" and don't realize it until it's posting...
  17. It looks more and more to me that what people need to do is stop overthinking it and just make it happen. Communication is not the easiest thing for most people, and organizing is even worse usually, but I see so many people here who are of the same opinion on it and want the same things, I mean, look, it's all right in front of everyone, you've got everything you need, and that's [i]people who want the same things[/i]. And ah, that's what the Forum Cartel thingy is, neato! I might have to look into that sometime, i mean, I love the people on the forums, and it'd be neat to hang out with them.
  18. Guys, remember not everyone speaks with schoolhouse english here, he's not saying he only appears to be male, he says he's looking for guy friends so he can experience more of the real SL we keep telling him to try and explore without looking like he's trawling for ladies. I, for one, think this is wonderful, and any intelligent-enough person who puts as much into a friendship as they expect from one might even find a real, honest friend person here. If I was a guy, I'd say hey, friend me, and I wouldn't even care if we agree on everything, because friends can have different opinions and still be friends. We all had to start somewhere! Give the guy a chance.
  19. I'm not afraid to be in the crossfire, I got my Wonder Woman Underoos on~! XD
  20. Advertising doesn't serve the same purpose as discounting prices does. Advertising is to get your name, brand, etc., in front of as many people as possible, and discounts are used as a way to keep the customers who already know about you. No point in having a sale if you don't advertise. Don't get me wrong, I hate commercials with a passion, and always have. I used to pick them apart so badly when watching TV that my family would kick me out of the room for obsessing over how much I hated the ads, but advertising works, so people do it. Every platform that has access for advertisers will have advertisers. Word of mouth isn't enough, and just because I think their commercials are lame doesn't mean they're all fools for making commercials. if there's one thing I know about people it's that nobody does nothing for nothing. Short answer: it pays. If I wasn't so lazy and if I didn't hate commercials myself, I'd probably be doing it too, look at Ron Popeil, that guy made a fortune selling stuff that was no better than some of the crazy junk I've made, and all because his ads for ridiculous products were plastered everywhere.
  21. Mods never really get the appreciation they deserve. It's like herding cats just to keep up with threads and whether or not someone is crapflooding the place, let alone users telling on each other because they don't like what someone said. Believe it or not, I've been mod staff on "adult" forums before, and if you think it gets bad here, LOL. No idea just how awful a job it can be, plus you NEVER really get to enjoy the forums the way anyone else does. As for Abuse Reporting, I can remember a time when forum software didn't have that function yet, and people had to PM whatever mod was online, or the admin (and wait a week for a response), or if nobody on staff was there, the forum would simply be trashed until staff woke up and started deleting things, and sometimes banning people. This is (mock me if you will, but I mean it) the BEST-kept pile of forums I have ever participated in. For this many users to be this active, and for the forums to only be THIS bad, is a gargantuan triumph of moderation (and occasional actual userbase self-discipline, lol). I've never filed an AR on the forums. Would I? If I felt it was genuinely necessary. I've been here for years and so far haven't had to do it once, so hey. Says a lot right there, if you know me at all. Inworld, I've filed maybe... two? And both situations were immediately resolved. I know, I know, not everyone has had this experience, but I have. These guys actually do try to keep this pile of crazy habitable, as ubelievable as it might sound. I'm normally a bit cynical about such things too, it's why it stands out so glaringly to me that I had to mention it. I could probably type more, but lack of coffee is dangerous and my text might get all over everywhere and I can't wipe it all up right now, because I haven't had coffee yet.
