I see references sometime to Age or Female verified. There is even a group you can join (without any checks that I can see) to give the title 'Verified Female'. Does anyone have any idea what these terms mean, and if so, what privileges they convey? I know what 'Payment Used' means, and that seems to be the only things that LL 'verifies'.

There is a secondary point here, LL by both making the complaint and then withdrawing it, has made sure that should a malicious attempt at Trade Mark infringement occur, they can stand in Court and say 'we vigorously defend this Trade Mark'. It's right that they acknowledge that Strawberry Singh wasn't infringing the TM but enhancing it's reputation, but they also tell the world that they do watch, and do defend. And actually we all need them to defend their IPR, because our enjoyment of SL depends on it being a commercial success.

I'm sorry to bust the party guys, but if there is even a hint of Trade Mark or IPR infringement LL's lawyers are going to insist they react like this. Trade marks have been lost before because they were not defended. It's not nice, but it is necessary. (I am only a lawyer on my days off)

I am told by people who know these things that there was a time long ago when to get an internet connection you dialed a telephone number and placed the handset into the cradles of the modem, which then sang to the server..... I do not believe them. It's so funny. What is a 'telephone number'? Is it some weird sort of entry in your friends list? What's a 'dial', and can you do it wiv both thumbs? What's a 'handset'? What is a Moe-Dem? Really these people from the past are so, so so, so Passe! And in 20 years more what will it be like?

Seems to me there will be another election along shortly, and some other fruitcake will end up putting her cronies into the institutions of state. Then we can all breath a great cry of relief. You can only vote for candidates, and they have to be put on the ballot by parties, once elected the candidate serves the party, not you. So you have no say at all. Voting is just an illusion of power. Best thing to do is to write-in Micky Mouse, because that's who you are going to get anyway (in the UK it's called 'spoiling your ballot' - and I usually write something more helpful to the toilet challenged).

OK, what the others said is right, get an Omega applier. Omega appliers come in various kinds and you need to have them to apply both head and skin - sometime Upper Body Skin and Lower Body Skin - you may also need Feet and Hands appliers too. But if you have skin textures legally, then making an Omega applier for them is really easy. You get the Omega Applier kit - IIRC it's free at their store on the Creator's floor. You take a copy of the Applier Kit's Skin applier, and rezz it on the floor of a sandbox, edit it, and in the Contents tab you will find a notecard which you open. Now you get the UUID of the texture (right click the texture in your inventory, you'll see 'copy uuid') into the place in the notecard - it's obvious where. Now close the edit, and 'take' the applier. You can leave any parts of the applier that you don't need as zeros. Now you can 'attach' the applier you made as a HUD. It is much easier to do than to describe. And once you have done it once you will feel empowered to make your own skins..... well maybe.
