I visited BumbleBee for the first time today. And demoed a few things. I like the clothes, but the HUDs... ... quarter-screen sized and non-resizable. I've moaned to several stores about this. Stop covering up the very thing I'm trying to dress!!!!. I wish SL viewers would let us have the HUDs on a separate window.

I hadn't visited BumbleBee before today, and did so because of the attention here. Nice clothes sure, but I agree they are copying some elements of both BlueBerry and Addams. It is a pretty basic store (thank goodness). The prices seem very in line with Addams/Blueberry. I didn't, in the end, buy anything, as nothing jumped out as being better that what I already got, but I will monitor it as a replacement for Blueberry in the future.

I like to make my skins different from the 'perfect features' of most skins. I won't pay the 700-900 that the skinners want to charge for a head either. I did shell out for a Modelesque Velour body skin, because I love the tummy, but my head has a freebie. Then I add all sorts of BoM add-ons, mainly from Izzie's, to put in the freckles, creases, veins, and spots. So my take on your head is 'great', whichever one you want. I like the cuts, they add character.

Nova, of course, it's actually why I bought my name! But recently Billie too. I have 6 EvoX heads plus Cate from the pre-Evo range. I won't go back from EvoX now though. My alt uses Nuri, which I find is better for North African features than Briannon, at least from my Slavic perspective

I think what this thread teaches us is that we are all different, both in shape and opinion. I apologize to Rowan and others if my opinion annoys them. The best advice I ever got when I started into this was 'demo, demo, demo', and 'no demo, no sale'.

I tried Reborn and Legacy Perky as replacements for Lara Petite. I'm pretty handy at the old shape sliders and prepared to use deformers too, but the reborn body cannot be made as thin as I want, you will always have a huge unnatural butt. Legacy Perky is very close to what I was aiming for, and I now use it a lot, but it still cannot escape the SL fascination with huge asses. For a small ass, small boob avatar with a big range of top-quality clothing you cannot beat LaraX Petite, in my opinion. If you don't mind making your own BoM-alpha add-ons to control body breakthrough, then check out Lucybody Vania - it's a small boob, small butt, almost Lara-compatible, low-cost BoM-only body. Grab the rest of the Lucybody demos while you are there.

There is, thus, the possibility that 'our' SL Blueberry has received a 'cease and desist' order on the use of 'their' name. All sorts of plots come to mind. No doubt we'll find out one day (Soontm)

I have to admit that the one thing I did this morning was to go and spend the last few L$ in my store account. I think it's worth noting that, according to her profile, the SL store was Sophia's RL job, so this must be something pretty serious in her life.

The Blueberry Discord seems to have disappeared too. Very unhappy about this myself, I usually bought everything there.

I have a few Alts, and I use ProtonVPN to get to a Californian Exit node. I am, in fact, an Alt of my first SL existence, which I retired long ago. When I say 'retired', I mean I don't use it seriously any more, but it is still extant and I try to remember to log in once every solar eclipse or so... I also have an Alt that I specifically created to stop my parked yacht from being auto-returned, he is a minimal impact transparent blob. Another Alt I have is to use in the beta grid to test things out. Good VPNs and sensible Alts are good. Paranoia is daft. (Except that I know the Brutish Misgovernment is out to get me....)

Maybe if you can't afford to live from your RL earnings in SL, then you should consider working somewhere else, maybe in RL. I am not paying any more than the 50 UK that I invest every month, that's all I can afford, and it's all the SL economy is getting from me. The whole enjoyment of SL would cease if I have to consider the exchange rate on everything. It's sad that you have chosen to make your RL living in this artificial economy, but it's not my fault.

Well I don't have to wait after all. I tried the new Billie head, and liked it so much, I got it while half price. Now, do I save up in RL to change my name when LL release 'Billie' as a new second name? Like everything in SL, it might be a long wait....

Is the theory that eBody Reborn is catching up on Maitreya's dominance based on people wanting big boobs? I must admit it's the opposite that is a big factor in my choices. I just can't get the eBody to my size, but so many clothing makers seem to have abandoned Lara(x)Petite, so I am on Legacy Perky+Petite now. I would have gone with eBody if they had had a smaller bust option.
