NOW I understand what you said! The key for me was the 'Simply wear the Letlutka eyes' wasn't simple! I had just put on some 'eyes' from the Glam Affair pack, hey! they even had the 'eye' icon in the inventory! But it turns out that the eye icon signals a texture that is to be applied to the eyes. This was a fundamental misunderstanding on my part. DoH!

I found out that none of this works at all unless you also wear the 'LeLutka.Eyes.Nova.x.x' mesh that comes with the head. I assumed these were not required, but that are! Hope this helps @Marianne Little

The key, of course, to all this is to get rid of all the alphas, what are called BoM eyes are actually System eyes, and all that I have learned now about BoM eyes on Lelutka Evolution applies to the old system eyes I found in my inventory! (some of them are pretty terrible) Thank you all again, and thanks to Kess Massimo(kess.crystal) of Glam Affair in world. EDIT: What I missed in all my arrogance about knowing this stuff was that you also wear the 'LeLutka.Eyes.Nova.x.x' mesh that comes with the head.

Thanks for the replies. These eyes are a Glam Affair set of eyes, sold as BOM just today, but in fact they turn out to be system eyes. I'll ask them that to do. No instruction or documentation as per usual with stuff various on SL. I should have obeyed my 'no demo, no sale' rule.

I have recently always used mesh eyes. Today I am trying some BoM eyes from Glam Affair, but they sit too high in my LeLutka Nova head. I can't find any way of moving them down. Is there a way of doing this? (I know, at my age, I should know this stuff...)

So this is not a reason Not to AR a griefer. What you should say is 'Everyone should AR Griefers - that way LazyLumps (LL) will do something'.

Why doesn't filing an AR help you 'at the moment'? Have the Governance Team gone away?

I'm selling my mainland, or more likely abandoning it, I haven't even visited for months, and the tier is stupidly high. I have run the SL viewer under Wine for Havoc and mesh uploads, but as you say, it won't autoupdate, and it was a while ago. I confirm that Catznip will run under Wine. I don't use Voice (spelled: Vice) so lack of Vivox doesn't worry me. Almost everything useful runs under Linux, why are some, mainly American, software companies abandoning it? I suspects bribes from Satan's spawn (Microsoft, Alphabet, Farcebook, and Apple).

Just be aware that if you use these viewers you cut yourself off from Linux, and have to use the Evil Windows or Mac OS - FOR EVER! Only Firestorm supports Linux. Only Firestorm isn't EVIL. Catznip used to support Linux, but went to the Dark Side, like Linden Lab.

You don't need orbs to log you out, until recently any sim crossing did it. The new code is much better, and you have to drive over a corner to get logged out now.

I was annoyed when my selection of the Dark Theme was dumped, and I was back to the Blackblack on Whitewhite - which causes my migraines, but on the whole it seems okay now I switched it back to the Dullgrey on Darkgrey that I can survive with. The alternative of using Night Eye to make a dark theme out of the Default is also okay. Not sure how I'll end up yet.

I can't add to this, as I'm completely happy with the Lara bum. However, I have noticed a community of small-bum ladies at Tiki Town Resort ( Schindleria(16, 146, 21) - warning: adult rated place) who seem to have the bum under control. Might be worth a visit to ask for ideas.

My experience, and I admit it is only a small sample, is that IM's result in abuse, not action or thanks, or even requests for help. So, while I applaud your philanthropy, I go straight for the AR to the throat. One of the really good things about LL's AR system is that, while you get an acknowledgement, you will never ever get to be told the result of the Governance Team's investigation. Thus the ignorant can be educated by them and correct their own behaviour without public pillory, while the truly criminal can go to the gallows (or whatever) in silence.

Probably not SL's fault, and down to some carrier problems in the Grate Nation of USA, but without anything on the Status page SL is again 'Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong'. Of course it only happens at 11:45pm on Saturday night(PST), or 7:45am Sunday in civilisation, when the LL techies are all in bed or something, so the SL Status page doesn't say anything....
