  1. Is 4X Adult land even more Adult than "XXX" land?
  2. For flexi prims, I would have used a change in the "gravity" (think that's how I scripted my favorite tail). A standard flexi prim attribute. From the Wiki: [ PRIM_FLEXIBLE, integer boolean, integer softness, float gravity, float friction, float wind, float tension, vector force ] • integer boolean – TRUE enables, FALSE disables • integer softness – ranges from 0 to 3 • float gravity – ranges from -10.0 to 10.0 • float friction – ranges from 0.0 to 10.0 • float wind – ranges from 0.0 to 10.0 • float tension – ranges from 0.0 to 10.0 • vector force
  3. That's kinder than what some of us get told, "Sorry about your face!"
  4. But those whacky Lindens can delete our off-topic posts and lock the post! Wheeee!!!!
  5. I don't think it will ever become irrelevant except between individuals. Because of FL/RL preferences and prejudices on age, race, gender, STD-free, etc.
  6. *wonders if the staff at BDSM clubs carry staffs, or carry clubs*
  7. Perhaps your virus defense software is killing the SL executable? I had a similar problem one or twice: After I installed an update to SL, I answered the question wrong (or did not answer) that my Norton software asked me - and then SL became unusable. It turned out that Norton saw a "new" version of the executable and was paranoid about it.
  8. I believe that letting us post off-topic is a good thing, otherwise you will find posts are mostly complaining and whining!
  9. Covering the neck seam with a ribbon like the Bride of Frankenstein sounds "cute" to me!
  10. "I"m sitting on something and in the air, so maybe I'm in a plane!" I like that logic!
  11. Can you zoom in and check her for possible skin cancer, while you're at it? ..and some of us don't post our SL pics for the very reason that we are afraid of being made fun of! Just sayin'!
  12. I learn weird new things about the scripting system a lot this year. The biggest was that memory was slipping away (significantly less memory available after I compiled) for 1 script until I finally copied the text to a new script. Made no sense at all, but was repeatable.
  13. It SHOULD always "save" even if there is a script error (in which case no code is generated and "running" should be disabled). SHOULD. It appears Phil found a case where it does NOT save with a script error.
  14. I wrote my own p-code interpreter for LSL very recently. Now I'm working on a parser/compiler. Anyway, one of the few times I tried to get a "jump" command to work in a script, I just couldn't do it! Funny that a script error with a "jump" would not let your script save. Anyway, turns out my problem was syntax - I kept trying to use "colon" before or after the jump label (like in most labels) instead of the uniquitious semicolon. In the end, I saved myself using the evil, bad, no good, must-not-use jump.
  15. I have an SL "friend" who jokes about Jews, Blacks, and AIDS - I finally stopped talking to him. Apparently in his country such jokes are part of everyday conversation.
  16. Reminds me of the Steve Martin short written piece, "Cruel Shoes".
  17. Which is how we knew Paul was a zombie! I bet Zombies would have trouble walking in heels!
  18. With tiny design tools! And a magnifying glass!
  19. It's awesome when a question from more than 4 years ago helps someone out!
  20. Ooohh!! Without the full word, "Necro" is just a dead prefix! :-)
