Ignoring the first and last pictures, which are clearly not porn and something you could see real kids wear at any beach - let's focus on Frodo's pictures, the middle two. Because I think those are the ones giving you the greatest confusion. (At least I hope so, because if you are having conniptions about boys in speedos you need to see a psychiatrist, fast) Why do you think they are *children*? Seriously, please explain why you think the middle two femboys are children? He doesn't look like an SL kid to me, heck just that treasure trail and pubes is a dead give away - and knowing who they are they don't even act anything like a child either. They are an adult in SL, they act like an adult in SL and they look like any number of other androgynous adults in SL - and of that there are plenty - it's a huge community. Prok as you are clearly a very old person it's going to be very difficult to explain why the middle two ads ad look nothing like SL Kids. To do that would need you to have an understanding of Androgony. But despite the almost impossibility of this task let's try and frame what a Femboy is. (1) They are generally not children. Urban dictionary's most appropriate definition is: A femboy is a person, typically under the age of 30 years, who is biologically male. However, this person will often present himself in a very feminine manner. This behavior may be exhibited part of the time, or all of the time. Femboys are not to be confused with ladyboys, who are a type of Asian male to female transsexual. Femboys are also different from cross-dressers. Despite being feminine, femboys do not necessarily wear clothing designed for females, but this is very common. The fact that one is a femboy says nothing about one's sexuality. Femboys may be straight, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, or of any other sexuality. It is also not necessarily indicative of one's gender identity. A femboy may still identify as male, or he may wish to be identified as female. However, it is common for femboys to be bigender. In 1960s terms the English model, actress and singer Twiggy was androgenous, early David Bowie was androgenous, A lot of pop singers from the old days were if my research is right. The only way you will be able to grow is to head out and look. Prok, I suggest you crawl into a realistic sized avatar (182cm tall) do an inworld search for Femboy and head to some of the topmost venues returned in search. You will see the SMB mesh body worn by clear adults and you will see clothing like these middle two ads. Edit: You will also see a lot of Futa avatars, and that will be even more fun to explain than androgeny!
  2. Notwithstanding the first and last pictures are swimwear you can see on any beach... The SMB body is NOT just for kids. It is also used by some fembois, nekos and twinks. If you go to any number of Twink sims you will see it in use by some adult avatars. People with 18+ year old avatars who don't wish to try to shrink that thick Slink bodys pecs in or deal with the TMPs shoulders THIS IS ALSO AN AVATAR IN AN SMB BODY. He is 2M tall (6.1feet in American scale), over 18 and as you see has tattoos. For a sense of scale he has an average sized SL kid next to him. Please stop with this assumption that only preteens wear this body because you are clearly mistaken. Edit: Photoshopped his nipples, becasue seriously, if the OP is thinking the first photo they link is pornography I'd hate to push them over the edge showing some 19 year old nipples.
  3. Top one and bottom one are swimwear. Unless you are from the 1800s these are something you can see on any beach. Swimwear is not pornography. We left the days of shoulder to knee covering behind 100 years ago. Middle ones, well you can see his treasure-trail in the second of his two pictures. Not sure of many kids with those. (edit, nah, I won't post a picture of a treasure trail, americans get upset over that stuff, removed that picture) Sorry prok, you are barking up the wrong tree.
  4. I gather you tried to see if they could understand it as: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=en&tl=es&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=https%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.secondlife.com%2Ft5%2FEnglish-Knowledge-Base%2FExperiences-in-Second-Life%2Fta-p%2F2744686&edit-text=&authuser=0 ?
  5. Nalates Urriah wrote: I think you are confused. Let me put this in simple words, look at my screenshot as I say them please. 6mio Lindens were selling at 259/1. Some person comes in and drops 800K at 265/1. Why would they go 6 lindens under and cheat themselves out of US$60? Does that make more sense to you Nalates? As the OP said Kendra Parfort wrote: If he really wanted to sell before everyone else he could have placed his sell at 261.. but nooo.. he had to sell at 265
  6. thesnakeheads wrote: now a kind man has offered her her own apartment and build space on his land Likely he has placed chat-bug scripts in the walls.
  7. (that 260 2,340 sale wasn't there at the start, it came in quite a bit after the big one) Only reason I can think of is they needed to cash out very fast. Selling at 265, 6 linden under, should mean nobody would jump in 1 linden under. There was only 24Mio buy on the other side at the time at 278, so it's a guaranteed fast sale. But that 24mio on the buy side has been there a few days. I saw it when it was at 830K (my snapshot below is a little after I started watching that sale) and it was likely higher when placed, let's work on 830K What they got USD$3,132 for they could have sold for 830000/260 = USD$3192 so US$60 in exchange losses. Suspicions? * Teir needs to be paid now so they estate isn't de-rezzed. * BF/GF breaking up and one liquidates and runs fast before the other wakes. * Account stolen. * S.O. banned for some reason and desire to cash out fast as possible. * Need to buy some regions now. * Someone with a lot of cash reserves manipulating the market and trying to cause another sell run. * Mistake in entry of amount at 265 and not 260 and not paying attention as it sells over 10 minutes. (and I know some are not plausible, I was racking my brains to try to explain why someone would sell at 6 linden under)
  8. Whirly Fizzle wrote: Sounds like your friends are seeing your avatar as a "JellyDoll". This thread explains what's going on: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Featured-News/Why-are-all-these-people-made-of-colored-jelly/ba-p/3031255 JellyDoll might soon be a trademarked brand of colourful condom. A vibrant sheath for parts of one's body. Although the firm will also be making vibrantly coloured jelly love dolls. https://trademarks.justia.com/870/68/jellydoll-87068374.html
  9. Avastar has the best DAE exporter for Blender in terms of getting the clothing you mesh and weight. While your skills in Blender might be amazing and you could create an SL compatible skeleton, then weight paint it without blinking, the exporting would be the point where you came unstuck.
  10. The nice thing about SL is people can choose a viewer that (mostly) suits them. Some people even use Niran's viewer.
  11. There have been a lot of threads and a lot of speculation on both these forums and on SLU. Just looking at the amounts in buy and amounts in sell compared to say 6 months ago should give the biggest hint that the currency is heading from 258 towards 260. There will be a point landlords will put up the price of homesteads.
  12. Depends which groups you hang out with. Over the last few years there has been a growing trend towards realistic sizes instead of the 9 foot tall 5 foot shoulder hulks that need more land to support greater LI for their bigger buildings. I rarely see 9 foot people any more, but then, I don't go to those few beaches where they thrive and breed.
  13. Don't forget that Bento will be hitting the grid soon, and that will make a lot of heads obsolete. You may wish to hold off on a major investment, if you can, to save repeating the entire excersise.
  14. There was a rash of rumours middle of 2015 about El Capitan not supporting OpenGL or Vulkan, but El Capitan came out some 9 months ago with Open GL, and the roadmap into the future shows openGL there too. Old rumours are still rumours - not worth the toilet paper they are wiped on. Gretchen Janick wrote: OSX the latest OpenGL version is 4.0. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202823 says the latest version is currently 4.1, so yeah. I'd take that person's word with a lump of salt, it was likely false information during the rumour cycle a year ago.
  15. Alwin Alcott wrote: As i said in my earlier reply, it's for me the first time i see this lay out of the buying page... and it will confuse a lot more users i'm affraid. Absolutely agreed there Alwin, this new page layout is bound to cause a lot of confusion, plus do weird things to the market again. People are going to look at the two US$ amounts and go for the cheaper - it's human nature - then get annoyed when it takes a day to get their lindens. Another typical "lets shoot ourselves in the foot" move by the lab.
  16. 7500 for $24 is asking to buy at about 312 lindens per dollar. At this rate you will be waiting for many years, if not decades. I guess you could luck out, but the chances of someone wanting to sell at 300 when they can get 255 or so is remote. The way limit buys work is you are asking people to sell to you at that amount. The higher the more you get but the less they make. Nobody wants to lose profit. Right now the rate of 267 will be filled inside 30 minutes (on average) and the rate of 268 will take about 4-5 hours. 269 might take a week. Depends on the time of month. US$24 will buy you around 6400 at 267. Go to https://secondlife.com/my/lindex/history.php and cancel the limit buy, then resubmit at 267, and wait for a while, it should arrive. The tabel at the bottom of the buy page will show the best rate, right column, top.
  17. Thanks Whirly! I will leave the prims in laggy mode. I can just imagine doing that, ending up with a huge LI and half the sim being returned O_O hehe.
  18. Is it expected that LI on a sculpt object would double if one sets it to alpha masking as opposed to alpha blending? I noticed it when delagging some Kidd lavender, the LI jumped from 1 to 2. Tried the same on a 30LI Heart oak and it went from 30 LI to 60 LI. It was my impression that masking was a better technique to reduce lag as the blending calculations could be skipped. But if it doubles the LI of everthing it's done to that seems a bit counter productive. Anyone have any ideas on this, is it expected, are there any workarounds?

I have some people who deleted back in mid 2007 on my list still. I think the first isn't completely true, you can keep your account out of search by deselecting it in your profile. But indeed wen having a perma ban, it's gone too. Only the web search. It's still available in the old style search eeither way.
  20. The lab are working on Project Sansar. Some people think this might be SecondLife 2, but it's more of a VR Environment that will be built by professional graphic artists, who create their worlds (let's call them games) inside Sansar, then invite people to come and play their game with LL doing the billing and account maintenance. Not a world for us. Some of those specs are silly by the way. You will need a decent computer if you will use a head mounted 3D display, but there will be legacy access too.

I understand that a deleted account is pending for a while, after that will they disappear from my friends list? Thanks. If they are gone from search they have been banned or deleted their account. In both cases they stay on your friends list until you delete them. I have some people who deleted back in mid 2007 on my list still.
  22. I fly and sail a lot and this problem of orbs isn't so bad. It's normally only mentioned by new flyers. Boating isn't an issue with orbs, really, it isn't. I crash on sim crossings 100 times more than I hit orbs while sailing. Of course, if it's in the blake sea then I normally IM the estate owner to gently mention the parcel - because that's a zone that should remain clear. Planes and helicopters, the orbs are a little more frequent. If you are exploring a new area in your plane then yes, it happens, just shrug and accept it, find a new rez-zone and keep going, make it part of the fun of exploring. But, if you are flying old well-known routes then your flightplan should be pretty much locked in and well travelled. You know your landmarks and you know where it's safe and where you must avoid. What I suggest to get used to the OP is have a fun day one weekend, try the three continent sail/fly. Leave from Hollywood or SNO, fly north to continent 2, then right to continent three. BUT make a rule with yourself, try to make it at all costs. Sim crossing crashes, orbs, ban lines, friends IMing you so you run off world while sailing those silly little protected passages the Lab created... the lot. Make it a challenge and see if your skills are good enough to make it. For my own mainland, I normally don't orb (or just when I'm home), keep my ban lines down, save 200 free prims, allow rez, scripts, and give 10 minutes return. Even put a dock on my river access for people to stop, relax and cuddle on if they like.
  23. Just stop playing rather than waiting for the Lab to help you stop? Personal responsibility is a wonderful trait to develop.
  24. I've noticed some very strange behaviour with old prim builds, floating 6 feet above stairs that hug walls - in prim, not in convex hull. Something /is/ off with Havok.
  25. LL might need to rethink their use of the term Jellydoll soon Shenzhen Jellynew Technology Co., Ltd. has lodged a trademark application for the term "Jellydoll" for their extensive condom range which they have been selling as "Jellydoll" since 2014. https://trademarks.justia.com/870/68/jellydoll-87068374.html
