  1. Pretty simple. A nice cottage garden, but highlight the river. 1 Willow from Nadine Reverie on the left side front house 1 tyre swing from Cheeky Pea hanging from that (PG of course) Along the river put Skye's Cuesta Rocks so that you have a rock back to the river. Get some Botanical ferns and great ferns and add those in along the new riverbank Botanical Waterlillies and Bullrushes in the river, along the rocks Scatter some Heart Foxgloves and some full perm daisies from Reid Parkin in with the ferns The path, hmm, Stone Pathway from IvanBenjammin Get some Heart clover from her undergrowth pack, along the sides of the path, use more foxgloves Some Kidd Garden Centre Lavender - maybe 4 of these, 2 each side of the path.
  2. I found that going there (it will be adult) and asking politely to speak to the manager helps. Ask them to please remove you from their list. It may take a few times, but they do seem to respect that. If they still tp you after asking to be removed they are harassing you and you can AR the club. If it gets to the harassment stage there is no sense ARing the bots, you need to AR the club, go there, right click it and do the report that way. But first, do politely ask a manager to take you off the list. That is pretty important.
  3. The basement dwelling neckbeards were angry over assange and DDoS-ing America. Rates of 620Gbps. Wikipedia said to stop, so now they DDoS Brasil.
  4. At least you get live ones. We had one that pretended to play the piano live, later realising he stole all his music off youtube.
  5. Horacio Collins wrote: But SL can if they are concerned about their customer base . On hearing how InSilico is going to close I think some days Linden Lab would be happy without customers. And that's only part of the purge of estate owners I have seen this year and over the past month especially. Quite frankly The Lab are *not* concerned about us. Anyway, back on topic: Horatio, you seem to be falling into a common trap with griefers, you are reacting. That is what they want. Just set up thje security right and ban them when they appear. Never say anything, never react. Just wordlessly ban and they get bored. But as soon as you react, as soon as you change things, make new rules, show you are upset they hit twice as hard.
  6. Making sure that only your hair is attached to your skull can help a lot. Move anything else on the skull attach point to your nose or chin (they are all fixed the same way) and edit the attachment back into it's correct place.

Wikipedia GDPR Which could make it a crime (with fines attached) for folks in the EU (or working off of EU-based servers) to be attempting this nonsense. 'Course you'd have to chase them outside of SL, but that's easy enough. For practical applications, IP address can become personal data if combined with other data, such as account name. Which would be what these folks would be doing. Interestingly there was a court case in Germany on Wednesday that addressed this. IP addresses are now court-confirmed as private information in the EU and it's illegal to retain them in most cases. http://arstechnica.co.uk/tech-policy/2016/10/eu-dynamic-static-ip-personal-data/
  8. They Alt-Click on you. Then their head and eyes will follow you if you move.

These are in addition to a PayPal or Skrill account, which must be a verified account. The site (and most people replying here) only mentions credit cards, but debit cards work too. Debit cards issued by the main credit card companies and linked directly to a bank account seem to be fine - it's how I've paid for SL for 10 years now. Yes, some CC backed debit cards do work, I use one as well, (and paypal, and skrill). The main thing the lab seem to need is a bank verified name and address. Paypal won't work - for example - if you have not linked it to your bank account. Skrill also requires it to be linked to your bank account. Just having a balance on an unverified skrill/paypal is not enough.

  11. Yes, the silders are pretty comprehensive for the shape, eyes are simple. The skin and hair can be harder, but still possible.
  12. Which two? It's a bit hard to list places that sell what you will need when we don't even know if you wanted, say, one of the guys from EXO or one of the girls from Girl's Day. ~~~ Baekhyun vs Sojin : let the fighting begin!
  13. Although it's not my main driver, I carry a Surface Pro 3 with me when I travel. It's ... adequate if I turn off shadows and keep my draw distance down. Darn you Intel and your lousy video chips. (I would NOT recommend the surface)

They are categorized "Adult" and you can't teleport to this area, it's closed. Linden Homes in "Adult"? More competition for all that unsold land in Zindra. Since you first posted this, I see some SL bloggers have also commented on this, but as far as I know, you were the first to notice these sims. Tyche Shepherd listed them with a discussion on 25/09/16 which is some 2 weeks before Pork saw them.
  15. IslaGrace wrote: One member of the group mentioned to me that they read Linden Labs had made a ruling that anime Avs are classed as children SL-Kids are allowed in Adult areas. They are just not allowed to engage/be in the close vicinity of sex. But for anime characters the Lab have not made any such ruling if they are kids, honestly, they haven't even ruled what an SL kid is, it's sort of taken as granted. The lab are notorious for staying right out of hard rulings on many things including this. It's really up to the sim owner to decide, and many do it by height. In the twink/femboy community for example 169cm is the cut off. But again that is arbitary and based on scale, most adults in that community are 178-190cm in height not 12' tall. Other people using clothing, manner of speech and how they act. Other people can't use height or how they act, they take the plastic look as being childish. They just blanket ban altogether. My own personal thoughts, as an SL kid, Anime characters are sometimes used as a loophole around the sexual ageplay restrictions. But that's just my thoughts.
  16. Best way to join is via an adoption agency. They make the whole process easy, but a bit random. Dont settle for the first people you match with, get to know them on trial for a week or two and then decide if you like them.
  17. LOTS of them. Here are a few I can think of off the top of my head. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bear/33/133 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Barbarossa/180/60 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Mahulu/72/181 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ambat/91/207 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Isabel/40/124 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Zebrasil/166/82 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hau%20Koda/78/53
  18. Fitted mesh can't be resized, but that belt looks to be a sculpt. First to make sure you select the belt properly, easiest is to right click in inventory and choose edit. If the object still comes apart (many will) it the best option will be to use a resize script. There area few free scripts or $1 scripts on the marketplace, although i prefer https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/BoSH-Resizer-PLUS-Stretch-Personal/2929260 which is $99 and worth every linden invested in it over time. Rez the object on the ground and drop the script inside, then take it back, wear it, and touch. You can then shrink and grow most things. Always wise to take a copy, there are some rare cases some things will break
  19. I use it for easy teleporting. I have a fake door in my home on the ground, just walking through it sends me instantly to my skybox at 4000M. It's absolutely awesome for that sort of thing. No touching, no sitting, just walk through a door. Av Sitter uses it to auto attach things like newspapers and coffee cups to your hand and the Lab are about to add a forced sit, like RLV has had for a decade. There is also a Key/Value database there that scripters can use. It's awesome for teleporting and the AvSitter attach. You do need a premium account to write your own, but I recommend everyone adds the AvSitter experience by Code Violet.
  20. Alt on Linux is used for window management. The viewer won't ever see it. To fix this you will need to reassign that to another (I use the useless Win key) If you are using KDE then... Settings>System Settings>Window Management>Window Behaviour Then select the Window Actions tab Then change the Modifier key from "Alt" to "Meta" Fixed. If you use Gnome or something else, look for the place to change window drag from alt to meta. And while you are in there you may as well turn on Compose too! Then you can do special characters like ° quite easy Settings>System Settings>Input Devices Then select the Advanced tab Then scroll down to "Position of Compose key" and set it to "Caps Lock" (I choose this becuase it's a useless key. Caps-Lock+o+o = ° Caps-Lock+c+/ = ¢ Caps-Lock+e+= = € (handy if you talk to Europeans) and so on. The list of characters is huge and very logical.
  21. Caleb Linden wrote: "New script functions for experience forced sits" It's good to see the Lab finally start to realise that Business is not the drawcard for SL. I hope that you will please allow us to lock them so that they can't stand up after we capture them.
  22. At the moment the Lindens are doing a fairly large, zero tolerance, purge inside some communities including 2 very skilled mesh clothes makers (leaving just 2 left for one particular community, 50% cull of mesh makers :matte-motes-crying:) When the Lab do permaban someone the name does dissapear from groups (based on the known bans from my FL of mains and their alts). It's also probable (based on these two big names going) that their MP shop is also blanked out now. To see if your friend has been caught up in this pretty nasty purge and is now perma-banned in the game the best and most accurate way I have found is via their my.secondlife link eg: https://my.secondlife.com/mick.mercy or https://my.secondlife.com/accountname (no .resident) for newer accounts If it specifically says "This name is unavailable" under a generic head they have deleted themselves or been perma-banned. (Also happens with protected words) This will mean your friend has been executed by the lab. Sorry. If it shows anything else they are fine and it's likely just something real life. And if it shows "The page you were looking for doesn't exist" then you got their name wrong.
  23. As a consumer... on baked shadows and using fullbright, omg, keep those things away from my viewer please. Ugh. Sage Waverider wrote: Chic Aeon wrote: Perhaps you will be happier in Sansar! Hope so but what puzzles me is what's next for SL, stuff like Light Probes might get implemented into Sansar, if so; I don't see why it couldn't be implemented into SL, just to test things before Sansar goes live. Sansar will be very different code to SL and any effort would not be shared. SL is 15 year old, single threaded code using OpenGL. One should hope (maybe that is wasted considering it's the Lab and they are likely letting the interns write it :smileywink:) that the lab are writing the Sansar viewer as a multithreaded application using Vulkan or similar. Anyway, Sansar is not for us.
  24. Looks like you will need to color match as close as possible if you want to retain a system body and skin. Firestorm has the Windlight CalWL which is the best I find to match colours as close as possible (I'm not sure about the SL viewer, I havn't used that since 2006 or so) Other options will be to buy a new system skin that has a head applier, or buy a mesh body and applier to suit both body and head.
