Sounds like a scripted object that is misbehaving. Sending an offline IM over and over. A viewer reinstall will not fix that. Do you recall where/how they paid you the first time? Was it a tip jar, a donation box, a vendor? That will be the object at fault. You will need to delete it from world and find a better one, or if it's not yours mute that object.

1. In the Bandit 50 folder will be a set of textures. You need to open up the hull (or sail, or anything else you want to put the name on) and then press [save] at the bottom - to save that to your hard disk. 2. Use Photoshop or Gimp put your name on the hull texture and save as a TGA, preferably without alpha 3. Upload the new hull texture 4. Right click the new hull picture and choose the Copy UUID option, whatever it is in your viewer. 5, Stand next to the boat and say texture hull then press Ctrl-V to paste the clipboard you copy in step 4 so your line will look like texture hull a0da3e8c-6ff8-11e6-8b77-86f30ca893d3 If you don't know photoshop/gimp you will need to find a friend to help or hire someone

Do you mean the invisiprim like effect? Thats a bug of blended alpha on rigged mesh. You can mask the alpha and it will be fixed.

Didn't really need a new thread started. However, my thoughts. 1) Understand that the lab will not change. There are privacy issues involved that will stop them telling you what they do to the person. But they do action abuse reports that are properly filled out and not hysterical. I have seen it in action. 2) People who cross the line are ID0 banned. This is better than a mere IP ban, because IP addresses can be changed trivially. The ID0 is a fingerprint of the person's computer and tied to payment info. When the lab ban an ID0 then all people with the same fingerprint and the same payment info will go too. But of course, there are ways around this, changing one's NIC or HDD - using a different computer - not being payment verified. 3) Witness protection sadly would allow griefers themselves to become unknowns again. There is good and bad in that idea. When push comes to shove, like all griefers, the person harrassing you is enjoying your reaction. And like all griefers the only way to stop them is to make them bored. While taking a short 2 month holiday in an Alt is one option, you ruled that out because you didn't think you should. Really, it would be good, and you should consideer a short holiday in one. So, what other steps can you take? Can I suggest you get a homestead, or a 1/4 homestead (which is about the price of a 4096 block) and set it to allow access to payment info on file only. This will ensure that he can't get it. Yes, it will cost money, but it will give you peace. You must get off the mainland. Even if you can't afford the US$20 a month for a 1/4 homestead then I suggest you move onto estate land and not be on mainland. And that you have a talk to your landlord and ask for an estate ban on all the alts you know. Yes, he can make new alts, but you can frustrate him a little. If you are painting onto a model and want to get that in world then Baking is going to be the most useful. That function renders the textures you see on the model in blender onto a png image that you can upload and drag onto your blank model in SL. I would suggest that you should have already covered UV mapping, and Materials, before you move on to Baking. UV mapping is pretty critical to the entire process.

What Marriane says has a lot of validity. This is a problem that really needs to be solved by the creators. And until it is, obnoxious scripts like that one at Fantasy Faire that threatened to kick you in 90 seconds unless you stripped naked need to be kept to a minimum. Normal people can't (legally) take their mesh body and rip off the 2 or more onionskins - the clothing and tattoo layers, then take their skin texture into photoshop and apply the tattoo and clothing directly. Yes sure it is possible to do this if you use ripping tools, but the risk of a ban is pretty real. Normal people also don't wish to sit down for 5 hours and meticulously retexture their hair (assuming it's mod) with non-blended-alpha 128x128 pixel, masked alpha textures. Then you add all the rest, in my case Neko ears and tail which are no-mod and very low in other options. I sit at 60K naked, no-mod on my body, on my ears, on my tail and on my hair. Impossible to optomise legally because the creators thought it better to "protect" their IP despite how trivial it is to rip most things, if you have no ethics. Not much room for clothing. The only real optionals being jewellry and genitals (The Aeros Xerxes alone is 70K) I've settled at 90-100K and fallen into the Meh camp. If someone on a 486 running XP can't see me, it's their problem not mine.

It is important to understand that lodging a lot of fake abuse reports on a rampage could see you subjected to disciplinary action or a ban. The fact remains that many adults do wear the SMB body. The questioner is incorrect in their assumption the body is only for pre-teens. It is a mesh body also used for femboys, twinks, realistic 18 year olds and nekos. With a furry skin it is also a good choice over the Avatar 2.0 or Kemino bodys. With an M3 head it is a valid choice for the Anime community. While the first picture is clearly a child based on the groin line it is also not suggestive nor is it pornographic. The SL-Kid depicted is wearing patriotic G rated swimming trunks that you can see at any beach or pool on any fine summer's day. The picture with the harness is worn by an adult, this is clear and unmistakable based on accepted human proportions. The groin line in the harness picture is on the adult avatar's, and not half way down his upper thigh as would be the case if he was a child avatar. 

Prok, while I wait for your arguments why this is clearly a child, lets dissect the body proportions very finely. The human body is VERY well defined in terms of proprtions. If you get these measurements off then the body looks unatural and weird. There is very little room for movement, a few percent at most. It's something most people who play with the sliders know instinctively because we know what looks nice to our eyes when we make our shape. When you look at these measurements there is ZERO doubt this is an adult. ZERO.  1. Eyes (Green Line) are centre of head. This helps rule out overly bouffant hairdos. Measuring eyes to chin and duplicating that measurement upwards gives top of skull. Unless you have a deformity this is an absolute measurement. Eyes are centre of head. 2. On an adult the distance from chin to nipple is the same distance as the height of the head. On people over 6 the nipples are higher. This measurement is not clear enough as the nipples are hidden in the ad you are complaining is child pornography. 3. On an adult the distance nipple to navel is the same distance as the height of the head. In other words on an adult the navel is on the second head line. On a 10 year old the navel is higher, the second head line comes half way between groin and navel at 10 and actually is the groin line at 3. I think this line is clear in the ad even though the navel is hidden. That belt is covering the navel, the treasure trail being the best indication. We will take the red logo on the belt as being the navel, and it's on the second head line = an adult. 4. The groin (yellow line) is the third head line for an adult. For a 10 year old the third head line is half way down the thighs. There is zero mistake here, the third head line IS on the groin. This is an adult. If this was a child it would be half way down the upper leg to the knees. Now looking at a picture (below) of a 4'6" child in the SMB body and a 6 foot adult in the SMB mesh body. Look where the yellow groin line is. On the child half way down his upper leg, on the adult - it's on the groin. The yellow line on this SL Kid is nowhere near his groin area. Now, go back and look at the ad above you claim is child pornograpy. Is that a child?
