I've cleaned up quite a few posts from this thread and wanted to drop in a quick reminder that the forums are not a place for you to air out any negative thoughts or feelings against a particular person or creator. We understand that being unable to access the Marketplace is far from a pleasant experience (it certainly wasn't for us that's for sure!), we ask that you please keep such comments/discussions to PMs or to other venues outside of the forums. Since the Marketplace is currently back up and running, I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. We thank you all for your patience and understanding while things were a little funky fresh!

  8. Hey folks! Before I close this thread since things have gotten a wee bit heated here, I wanted to drop in a few things. During the holidays, there is always someone around to keep an eye on things in the event that things go terribly wrong. On the flipside, during the holidays response times may be slower as we typically run a skeleton crew because...well because of the holidays. We do apologize for any delay or inconvenience that any of these slowed response times may cause, and we thank you for your feedback!

  10. Well this thread got out of hand real fast. Before I close this thread, I would like to say that if we make any changes to the LH Covenant it will be made known. At this time we are not looking to make any changes regarding this particular bit of the Covenant, but we will continue to monitor if any adjustments need to be made in the future.

  12. Hey there! So just to clear a couple things up. If you cancel your Process Credit Request, we do not hold you liable for Chargebacks. Chargebacks are completely separate and are when an individual disputes transactions with their bank and has the transactions reversed, and do not have anything to do with canceling a Process Credit Request. Unfortunately, I cannot go into details with your particular case here as this is a public forum, however I will make a point to follow up with your case with the agent(s) working on it to ensure that we clear up any confusion. If you have any additional questions or concerns, I recommend that you refer to your case (Case # 1600678) so that we may assist further from there. Since this is not an issue we can help you with on the forums, I will be closing this case. Please keep an eye out for any updates to your case in the meantime. It is rather late in the day for us, so you may not receive a response until tomorrow at the earliest.

The Email Address thing is expected behavior, as the forums use your Second Life email, so the page will redirect to the Account Summary page so you can make any necessary updates to your email on file. As for the Security and Privacy issue, we're going to dig a little more on that and see what's up there.

  19. Please be aware that the presence of an Abuse Report (or several) does not mean that the result will involve the termination of the account reported. There has to be clear evidence that shows that a Resident is violating the Terms of Service before we take action. If we do find evidence of a violation, that action is typically a warning or a suspension, as we prefer to give Residents the chance to correct their behavior (though we will issue terminations if someone really dun goofed, or ran out of chances). If you are encountering Residents that are threatening you and are crashing/griefing regions, we ask that you please block these individuals and file an Abuse Report when these incidents occur so that we may investigate further.

  22. Hey there Inoxcro Vyper, I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering an issue with another Resident in Second Life. Please be aware that when engaging on the forums we do not allow naming other Residents and accusing them of bad behavior. The forums are not the appropriate place to air these issues out. If you are experiencing abuse from another user, we strongly encourage you to use the Block/Mute features and file an Abuse Report if you have not done so already. Once you have filed a report, we will be able to investigate further and take the appropriate action if we can confirm a violation of the Terms of Service took place.
