maybe I need to post this in machnima, not sure. When filming myself, I want to be able to have a certian camera view. Yes, there are machinima huds you can change the camera view, and debug options can change this some what too, But what I want is like you zoom in on a avi and lock your camera on them from a particular viewpoint when they are walking. So say a close up of the back of the head offset to a side a little. But I want to be able to film myself, or follow myself, with this exact camera position. I dont know if there is a script or something that may allow this. I can of course log an alt on and have it track me and film from that viewer, but that creates other issues as well.

All the latest data shows this thing is becoming more like its little brother, the cold, and sometimes a flu with about the same mortality rate. At some point we as humans are going to have to learn with this, it will be a yearly thing, and just like we don't shut down entire economies for the cold or flu, the same will have to be true for COVID. We should be thankful this thing isn't a high mortality rate virus If anything we should have learned we can do basic things to lessen the effects like getting plenty of vitimin D and C, losing weight, eating healthier etc..

In RL we'd say the only 2 things are for sure - death and taxes. SL I suppose we can say 3 things are fore sure - sex, hookers, and Linden beggars!

I know Strawberry Linden is doing /has done alot of tutorial type vids as well as many other residents. But while I havent been new for a long long time, starting on SL can be like opening Photoshop when you want to edit a photo for the first time... Case in point, I still don't get BOM and SL ain't new to me at all!

Linden likely has the the 'no political advertising' policy to discourage or attempt to prevent any 'Trump' advertising. Rarely is anything enforced on the other side of the spectrum, and certainly not BLM....

a lot of info is missing in your post to form a diagnosis. from your viewer settings and computer specs to exactly how you are trying to film said items. I film weddings often with 50+ avis in attendance and I have run into every issue SL can through at me LOL

wearing masks can help yes. So if one chooses not to wear a mask and those that choose to wear a mask do, then the maskless cannot spread it to those that are wearing one. And if one relys on the 'government' to tell them a global pandemic on a novel virus is serious, then they need to re-examine their entire life. Besides all that, everybody has perfect 20/20 hindsight, don't we? Never mind the fact there was a serious shortage on masks and other PPE because of out over reliance on Chinese made products. But can we all stop pretending that government's track record has been 100% correct on everything up until Jan 20, 2017?

I would like to know how many people died of COVID or at least spent time in the ICU because 'never trumper' forces waged a war on hydroxychloroquine when study after study throughout the world has shown its effectiveness in early treatment and greatly lowered the mortality rate. I know there was one published paper in the Lancet that showed how bad HCQ is - only that paper had to be withdrawn because it turned out they used deliberately false date and fabricated numbers, and the 'VA study' where they gave HCQ to already critically ill patients. Point is how many thousands of people may have lived or not had to suffer so long because 'never Trumper' forces decided it was politically advantageous to let people die rather than try a treatment the President said shows promise. That is the question people need to be asking, IMO

Ok that may be true, but I do wonder what activating the Flycam has to do with Local Lights. Also when zooming in with the flycam, it looks like the top photo from a distance untill maybe 10-15 meters the the lites 'turn on' and it looks like the bottom. I never really looked at this in BD though, maybe I should sometime

ctril + 0 to 'zoom in' ctrl + 8 to zoom out ctrl = 9 to reset. Almost everyone who does 'pro' photography does this....

I've been curious about this since I joined SL, course back then in the mid 2000s internet speeds were much lower than todays. I have also read really old threads talking a a server cap of max 3000 kbs Im curious with todays average internet speeds, the move to the cloud etc is SL servers still limited to 3000 kbs or is this ancient stuff? I have mussed about in debug settings changing the max throttle up and haven't seen any tp failures or otherwise ill effects, and of course, this is one subject where everybody seems to have a different answer for. My internet is currently 100mbs and even that by todays standards is a little slow according to the FS page: Measure your download speed to the city where SL has servers1), by clicking this link, then select YOUR PREFERRED SERVER; make note of the download speed they indicate at the end of the test: Tucson, AZ. 2) 3) The speeds are given in Mbps; multiply the speed you get by 800 Set your Firestorm bandwidth to 1500, or the result you got above - whichever is smaller: in Firestorm, go to Preferences → Network & Files -> Connection; Maximum Bandwidth is at the top. so if I am 102 mbs to Tuscon then that is 81,600 but the max I should set it as is 1500 - how does this even make sense with todays internet speeds? to put in perspective to even get a number SMALLER than 1500 you would be on a 1.5 mbs connection speed or less! sorry if this is a dead horse, I'm just curious

i record sl voice for weddings sometimes. I have always had it where one channel is about 6db lower that the other

with the black dragon viewer when using DOF you can turn off alpha in the DOF. It can sometimes make the hair look odd but otherwise gets rid of the halo. But overall the method is getting the right camera angle to avoid the halo and/or fix in post

I was tasked with making a sim tour video using the region's EEP. I used Firestorm beta with EEP. Some parts of EEP I liked, some is still confusing

I use my own 'day' for normal travel and use, shaders off. Makes a nice even light
