Progress On my Noob Avi - Help wanted <3

Thanks to the people of the SL community, I went from looking like a basic 70s pornstar to a decent looking avi.

I did get a skin and head to make myself look presentable but then I saw pic of this one guy on his profile pic and the dude one upped me in soo many ways haha.  (I put a pic of the dude at the bottom of the post)

Right now I'm rocking the Letluka head and a legacy athletic body, I'm lookin for clothes at the moment that works with my RP which is being a sexy trainer/coach. I definitely want to change my hair as well as maybe new eyebrows + eyes (Currently using the ones from the HUD)

 

What advice can you guys give that would make me look more like the pic below my avatar? Thank you and sorry for the basic questions

I know you were steered away from Niramyth Aesthetic for being dated, in favour of TMP Lagacy athletic in your other thread. However if you want to look like the bloke in your bottom pic Aesthetic is probably the body he's wearing the upper torso of the body does have that kind of look

you're also looking at a guy who's pic is heavily edited and who's graphics are at max most likely so take it with a grain of salt

Yeah, I didn't know if it was super edited or someone who legit looks like that 24/7 without crazy graphic changes, if thats the case then I should be happy with what my dude looks like.

Oh this was most certainly taken in Black Dragon and then through a few post process passes, without a doubt. Looks good, but nobody in SL would have that look like THAT from a raw screen shot.

Psot processing hardly changes the base shape someone is wearing... 😶

 

Anyway... from a black and bold guy to a blonde and, in my opinion, overtoned one as a look-a-like ideal is quite a jump.

But slapping on some tattoos on body and face, wearing a heavy neckchain which quite likely features bling to make it look more fancy and any blond-ish hair should get the look done here.

I understand that some people dig the steroid experiment gone horribly wrong look, and that's fine, each to their own, but I honestly think your current avatar looks much better than what you are going for.

What I would suggest going forward is to visit some fashion events (or browse seraphim.com) specifically targeted for men to get the feel of what's "current", hopefully find some merchants you like for hair, tattoos and clothing etc, and visit their shops.

NOT saying you look bad... even good for a noob

but....

if you buy what everybody buys, you will look like everybody.... dare make combinations not many do, and stand out of the crowd.

(trainer looks... get some jogging pants, sneakers, tanktop... done

There's a reason the guy in this pic is naked. Try finding any decent clothes to fit it...

I suspect its Aesthetic, with a different head. To be fair, there are clothes available for Aesthetic but all old - its a very old body that isn't widely supported any more, so there isn't really anything new or up to date for it.

Yeah, I’m with everybody else. You look nice now. Give yourself time to refine your look: ie refine your shape, buy some new clothes, hair, new skin, etc.

Most people’s avatars are a work in progress and never quite finished.

Take some time to see what people in SL look like. Use the in-viewer PLACES to find What's Hot, the places where people are.

Eww. I think the your body is better…. And more real and how I would want my personal trainer to look…..Just my opinion
