I’m from Michigan. Our state motto (in Latin) is “If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you.” For those unfamiliar with my beautiful flyover state, it consists of two large peninsulas: the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) and the Lower Peninsula (aka Downstate, Trolls — people who live south of the Mighty Mackinac Bridge). For example, I live on the edge of Bookings (Fantasy) since Aug 18. The house next to mine is on Easy Life and has been a Linden Home since the day I got mine.. that whole region is linden homes (as opposed to "protected") ... but not a single one is owned. New region releases seem to be related to the rate at which new homes are being claimed, so new regions aren't being released very often. Also, it seems as if many GOH players have kinda eased off for our own reasons, and say what you will, a single really active GOH player with a bunch of alts can really stir up the queues! So maybe there's a bit of a feedback loop going on. The rate of claiming homes fell off, so as a result most of the parcels at the top of the Land Page queues are less popular ones. Seeing that they are claiming the same homes over and over, MOAR people decide to stop hopping and check back later. Slowing things down even more. So, clearly what the land page needs is some generous hoppers with a whole bunch of alts who claim and hold the homes currently at the top of the queues for a week. This is overall a great time for new Premiums because there are so many homes to choose from.
