  1. So far what I have seen with PBR, I agree. Its not my computer, I just don't think it improves anything. Sorry to be Debbie Downer. LOL
  2. I tried the Meds, had several nice ones I bounced around on, but I just can't. They exhausted me....lol
  3. Wow hello, I missed you posts, I am glad to see you!
  4. Glad you love it and acquired it. I try all the new themes, and I liked some things about the Meds, but my heart is in the trads, and to a lesser degree the Victorians.
  5. There are almost no clones, and the house size fits the 351 prims the best (IMHO). There is a diverse selection: green terrain, mountains, sand, rivers, ponds, oceans etc.! So many have adorable little common areas too. They seem clean and happy, and neutral enough so that a lot of options can be made with them and still seems to fit the theme.
  6. I noticed that too, it reminded me of the windlight or atmosphere on old mainland. In my viewer very dark and sorta grayed.
  7. I decorated a cute little trad up like a bakery. I had owned the house next door for a while, and I saw it come available and just sit there, so I grabbed it and instead of just doing it like a normal house, I made it into a fun little public space. It has treats, seats and games, and I even piped in some music. lol it's on a cute little beach...called Dorma!
  8. Looks like one of my old ones, was it on Prados Verdes? I ended up leaving all the Meds, but I had a few really cute ones!
  9. What happened to #5? LOL
  10. I would love to see the Hobbit House added to the Fantasy Area---I love the new tree houses, but if there were "underhills" too that would be great! Elderglen had a choice of treeHouse/Stump, cottage, underhill, and mini castles. So now there is a sort of castle/cottage option and new treehouse options, lets have underhills too!
  11. Yes I understand that. I can try that
  12. Looks nice, and I was thinking about using landforms too...I can tell you used them around the pool. I was mulling using some to break up the land a lot is sooo long. But then I realized they had not put that dirt terrain texture box--just the grass and the sand. Wish I had it, how did you get it? Did you make it? Can I have a copy?
  13. It's a form of gambling no different than gachas. It's designed so you feel pressure to buy alts and pour more money in to get a hoped-for "rare" location. So, unless you win an auction or know someone to assign you one in advance... your odds are not very good without alts. You might get super lucky with one try, but most likely you will not. Most likely you won't in five tries or even in five tries over five days etc. Thirty dollars for a monthly premium plus account is a lot of money to get five tries a day.
  14. I feel they should have allowed tickets on these and I would have one next to friends and kept my homestead. Now I am going to downgrade to reg premium and lose the homestead. It's been a disappointment, and I just can't pay anymore into this. I paid for a year of Premium Plus and cannot use benefits I paid for.
  15. I gave it a try, got nothing interesting and gave up. Since they don't allow tickets doubt I will get one now.
  16. I like it a lot as well, I am also eyeing the Faviola! Love the back porch on it--I might try that one. Will see when I get there and rezz a few things and if its overwhelmingly big I will go to the Belle Vista!
  17. If you are into deeper colors, and darker more intense vibe this will probably be fantastic to you, however if you liked light and airy, more pastel and stuff like I do, am not sure what to say other than maybe there are more changes to come or settings to work with. I really loved the default Linden water and default day cycle more than EEPs and wind lights all along, and that is def not the same now. The water looks milky and overly glaring and the sky is washed out. shadows are less intense or different somehow--I did think the moon was looking better in PBR though.
  18. I am open minded, but I am in general not liking it as a whole at this stage. I don't know what I am doing though, but I def have a decent enough computer to run it. The look of water, sky, shadows, and pretty much all pastel and lighter colors in particular is very harsh in PBR to me, and I liked the softer more hazy look we had/have in FS until it updates. Somethings seem a little more colorful and that is fine, but the environment is taking a beating to me overall. The actual rezzed objects --builds, decor etc., can be decent looking---not sure if I would say BETTER, but a different kind of good that is equal just different. I like SL because to me it's digital art and I like "painting" little visions whether it be on a small parcel, LH or a homestead. It's my main thing that keeps me here, and I hope I can integrate happily, because as it stands not sure it will be something that enhances my "little art visions" in here?
  19. Been rolling around with my alts and almost every region the house rezzor is not working, and I can't reset it.
  20. I got a place on Willows Shire, but I can't figure out why there is music coming from the actual ocean
  21. If they added Treehouses, they could add Hobbit Houses, lol. I would LOVE that. They have them in Elderglen, so it not impossible.
  22. We need the textures for the new houses, please!
