Nice Avatars & No Payment Info on File

Most of my alts have no payment info, I just buy L$ and share it out. Then again, most of my alts are already years old (the newest is just over a year, the next-newest is about 7 years old) so it's within the realm of possibility that they've earned money themselves. Truth is I have neither the creative skills nor the time to put any of my alts to work. 

But generally an account that's fully meshed up (with mesh that's not free) and less than a few months old is almost certainly an alt. Even if they have earned the actual money themselves, no-one learns enough about SL in their first few months on their first account to get that skilled so quickly. Particularly when most non-creative jobs (like club hosts) won't employ you if you're less than 60 days old unless you can prove you ARE an alt and have more experience than that.

Maybe in the past it was feasible to jump in and start creating and selling, but not now.

I have a Lelutka head, and a maitreya body and I guess, the 'Addams clothes' you're talking about, but I am missing a 'payment info' on my profile.

I'm not anyone's alt, I'm my main avi, and I don't have any payment info. I have never done escorting, or engaged in any of the stripping business; A while back I started Flickr and realized that I enjoyed taking pictures and editing them, and at some point, there were people who started asking me to take pictures of them in exchange for lindens, and that's how I earned my lindens in-game 😛 I also enjoyed decorating our friends' homes with a friend, and met some friends of friends that wanted their houses done too, and I guess that was another side gig from which I earned a decent amount from. All the above I mentioned, I started doing for fun, but ended up getting both my enjoyment, and enough to take my avi for a good shopping trip. I guess it may bring the question "Why not just buy the lindens" But,, I mean, if you CAN make the lindens in world, and if you enjoy it, why not just go for it?

Mainly because having to log on to send an alt money is just,  well it's just really really a little extra harder than them going and getting it themselves..

Many (though not all) of my alts do have payment info, but that is only because they were Premium in the past in order to donate tier to a land group.   I should probably remove the payment info from those that no  longer need it.

 

All of my L$ buying is always done with a single financial account.  That account owns an object that is rezzed inworld and it lets my other accounts take money from her.  That rezzed object means I don't have to log in the L$ buying avatar just to give some other alt money and it lets me keep all of L$ buying transactions on one account.

I do a lot of events at my sim, with large prizes of l$.

 

One thing I do notice is a LOT of new avatars, all with NPIOF entering my events, this is how they get l$ to be able to buy stuff.

I just always assumed most were alts but never really gave it much though, op.

In my case...This account now, though my main, is still technically an alt. Its the third I created. The first I lost details to, and the second I moved on from wanting to get away from my 'human roots'. I never plan on adding my card details to this account because I never buy anything. I transferred about 4700 Lindens I had from my old account to this one, and that was more than enough to buy my current bird avatar, and I'm perfectly happy with just having this. I did remove my payment details from my old account though, and now I'm wonder if 'Payment Info on File' disappears when there's nothing saved to the account?

I just went to remove payment info from an account that was previously Premium and no longer is.  However, I found that I had apparently already done so at some time in the past --- and the account still shows as "Payment info used".

If you never actually used the payment info on the account, I'm not sure if a "Payment info on file" will stay there or not.

Even fishing brings, for example, 300 lindens per day. there are people who have caught fish for thousands and millions of Lindens. but this requires a lot of time to devote to this craft. you probably don't want to work but just enjoy yourself? and nervously bite your lips with envy ...

I am considering this topic, which humiliates and insults players without paynment account information, as inferior people .. you only see them as violas and sweet babies? some even call them bots .. this is a very wrong judgment about people from a person with extensive experience in sl. or is it arrogance towards them. And what do you care about them? I'm not the first one to tell you this

if you have it once, it will not get removed with the deletion of a card or other payment method.  Again my alts   some used my CC 10 or more years ago, still show the info used...but becuse they were to greedy i had to remove the card from their hands

The wording you freak out about isn't offensive or any other reason to name call. People dó earn their money on several ways, and these are simple part of that.

Fact IS no payment accounts aren't verified, and that matter they are different to others. Not less... but different. Even LL knows that, and gives the option to lock those out of parcels and regions, for several reasons.

There's no significantly practical reason to publicly announce which accounts have payment info on file. It just paints a target on those accounts, especially when we still can't have two-factor authentication.

The existing features relating to avatar entry don't rely on that information being public to anyone.

how do you like that? Another advanced resident with payment information calls people without payment information even criminals and suggests staying away .. is this also not discrimination?
