  1. One of your keywords is "silk dress" There's an entire sub, sub, sub category just for women's silks (apparel -- women's -- women's costumes -- women's silks,) which is mostly fantasy and rp slave clothing, so see if removing "silk dress" helps if that's what your trying to avoid.
  2. To see which category is the better one to list in, try getting a listing enchantment in each category for a week, and then see which one got the most clicks from the add. If I remember correctly you'll have to do one enchantment at a time for this.
  3. I thought they rolled out the fix last week or so, I now have options for 3 file types and not experiencing the problems your having. It shows by default today's transactions with the total on top, with new filter options. I thought it was strange that there was not release notice when I saw the changes.
  4. Sounds like some one trying to use group chat to send notices. Real notices should be created in the notice tab for the group, and should be stored there for 14 days, regardless if your logged in or not. If you don't see the missed notices here then this is likely what's going on.
  5. out of curiosity, how large is the groups your having problems with, not sure if it's been fixed but there use to be some issues with large groups.
  6. Fun video, all so a great reminder of how much fun you can have with simple objects.
  7. An other advantage if some one is getting emails when out of world is that not only can they read it, but all so respond with out logging in.
  8. I can't duplicate you problem, but I think I've seen it before some times with note cards sent from groups, if that's were you getting the note card from your having a problem with try going to the groups notification page and getting a copy from there.
  9. I have a set of scripts that might help with what you need and work no copy no transfer, contact me inworld.

  11. Hoshi Kenin wrote: There is only oneslight snag with this: in SL we can all fly. But you can't type and fly at the same time, which is why taking a train or airplane with friends when some one else is driving can be fun for sight seeing. Sky diving would be an other good time to have some one else flying the plane.
  12. You could post it in the land forums under parcels for rent. all so see this post for advice on renting shop space: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Merchants/Advice-please-What-is-the-best-way-to-approach-a-designer/td-p/2714108
  13. Bobbie Faulds wrote: Yes, it would take time at first but once done, it's easy to keep up. You can sort by online status so that the ones that haven't been on for a while are at the bottom of the list, making it easier to eject them, though. I put in a new feature request to automate this, and not just to eject people but all so as a filter for sending notices and chat only to people who had logged in during a set amount of time, that way you don't need to eject them and if they come back would start getting notices again.
  14. Bobbie Faulds wrote: Look at your groups and then check out the stores. See if the store offers a subscribomatic. That's taken the place of a lot of my groups that I'm in just for announcements. The groups I have now are either related to the sim I RP in, ones I've paid for that I get regular gifts with, or general informational ones. The thing with groups that you have to remember is that when a chat goes out, the server attempts to send it to each and every member. The larger the group, the more places is has to try. One thing that might help with that would be for group owners to be a bit more proactive and eject any players that haven't logged on in a year or whatever limit they decided on. That would help keep the server from having to try to send out notices to those people. I've seen some groups with over 90,000 members where ejecting people who haven't logged in would take forever, an other problem is groups that are no longer used but still exist, if LL could add a check box and an impute for the amount of time before ejecting nonactive member that would solve both problems. or an other way to do it it with out ejecting is to set a time frame and only send messages and notices to people who have logged in during that time that way returning people would automatically start getting new notices when they return.
  15. If I remember correctly you have to buy some thing on the maketplace first to get the merchant out box to work, LL had put up a free item for that purpose when DD first started. This might help http://http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Marketplace-Direct-Delivery-migration-guide/ta-p/1293139 I see there's a warning about: [Warning: You may not upload items using the Merchant outbox if you have more than 100 unassociated items in your store inventory. Make sure to clear unneeded unassociated inventory regularly in order to keep uploading new inventory.] sounds like that might be what your tying to clear out in the first part of your question? Wish I could help more it's been too long since I've switched over.
  16. Only LL knows for sure how the placement works, if your sorting your store by reverence then It's most likely by over all sales and short term sales, new listing might all might so get a temporary boost. There is some delay for when the search order is updated, which is likely why you see the change after taking a break. If you need to find the newest items quickly just sort by newest first. To see what people are looking at in your shop under merchant home there is the top selling report it shows over all sales and views. There's a all so the top searched report but no one really knows what it tracking lol

Vulpinus wrote: Oh yes, the sandbox is one of the normal premium ones, I just TP'd to it from home, so I guess that means same channel (do you mean like what I call the beta grid where we can log in to test uploads without paying for them? No, I wasn't there). Besides, I've TP'd to a few of my usual haunts (shopping places etc) and my fire works perfectly everywhere else I've been. Tthey are talking about what version the region is running on you can check it in your viewer by clicking on world-region details-region tab The RC channels are the test channels for fixes and new features and may be running differently then the main channel. You can check the server forums for updates. Main channel normally gets updated on Tuesday and the RC channels on Wednesday. If your ever have a problem with something that use to work then stops all of a suddenly, you can test it on different channels so see if it's caused by a recent update.
  18. It did brake, and had a denial of service attack. They are fixing it, they even took time to tell us what going on, but I don't think it will all get fixed over a holiday weekend. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Tools-and-Technology/The-Recent-Unpleasantness/ba-p/2730800
  19. The new feature request is back in the jira that would be the best way to get this seen by some one at LL. All thou there's no guarantee that a forum post will be read by some one at LL , moving this to the merchant section might help get in front of the right people. until or if this gets changed, as other have suggested I all so number my images, this makes managing your marketplace images uploading much easier. When the new CEO started people posted lots of suggestions to the merchant forums, we still haven't heard back about what the plan or priority's for the marketplace are.
  20. for non mesh options a tube (hollow and profile cut) can be made with a thinner gap then a cylinder, or you can use 2 cylinders one with only the outside texture showing and the other with inside showing (all other sides set transparent) make the inside cylinder larger to reduce or remove the gap. for ether option in firestorm you could all so save the cylinders or tube as mesh and select skip transparent to remove the extra geometry from the cylinders.
  21. I managed to cause the issue your having once but can't get it to trigger again. for me it happened at 0.4999 When it happened I was moving the cut setting back and forth over the 0.5 mark and could see a darker shading flicker on and off the finial it stuck for a while. The darker color looked like a shading issue to me. you might try turning advance lighting on and off to see what happens, All so try an other viewer to see if it's a viewer issue. I tested it on firestorm.
  22. NachoBiznezz wrote: So essentially, this is something Linden Labs needs to fix? If your having this problem on more then one viewer then yes LL will need to fix it. If it's only with one viewer then that viewer will need to fix it, what ever it's source this is not normal. The only thing I can think of that "might" help would to try using a texture preloader for the particle textures.
  23. Poltergeist Azarov wrote: Ok, I finally realized problem. The mesh model I have is not working properly with physics engine. What should I do to give its body proper physics that works fine with physics engine? Improving your physics shape can help make a vehicle run smother, but I still think your issues is related to the vertical attractor that Rolig pointed out. Creating a physical vehicle script is not a trivial task, I would highly recommend reading the tutorial Rolig posted and visit the vehicle laboratory inworld. if your new to LSL then I would recommend starting with the basic LSL tutorials first. They all can be found here. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:LSL_Tutorials I had some time to test a script of mine, looks like you need to lower the efficiency setting in the vertical attractor flags.
  24. listing enhancements are recurring by default you have to turn that off once you start the enchantment. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/listing_guidelines But there is an other ongoing issue that other merchants have had a problem where the listing charger is over charged several times right when you first set it up, if you search the merchants forums you can find more info on this.
  25. I thought I recognized your name at the airship regatta today, so I'm guessing your problem with the server groups is related to sim crossing? Today was an unusually bumpy ride for me. I don't fly enough to compare it to the lasts roll outs but if you notice a change after a server roll out, the server forum would be a good place to report it. you all so commented about groups, there was some info that I din't know about in a post recently. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/General-Discussion-Forum/Joining-more-Groups/td-p/2714728 If that's true then it's likely a compounded issue for a groups of people crossing sim and parcel borders while all talking in group chat at the same time. I don't think it's an issue of skill at LL as mush as an issue of how to change things with out shutting SL down or damaging existing content and settings. If it would make things run better I would'nt mind if LL shut down SL one day a week like they use to, It would be nice having a day off.
