I find it interesting that you distinguish between an alt "that has a life inworld" and that they consider "to be a facet of themselves" verses alts used in different ways. I don't think using an alt for practical purposes - such as a model, a tester, a bank, a way to avoid being bothered - is being fake. (I suspect you don't either.) I think it's only being fake when one purposely tries to deceive others, such as trying to be "friends" with someone who has unfriended another account or as a forum sock puppet who likes and responds to the posts of their main account. I don't think it's being fake to have multiple accounts - perhaps as roleplay characters, to express different moods or artistic expressions, or to use different aspects of SL. I think it's only being fake when deception is the purpose of the alt.

Unpacker HUDs in the center are fine, because it only takes one click to unpack, then you can detach them. One thing that bugs me though is unpacker HUDs that automatically unpack and then detach. No! I frequently just want to pull out one size or one thing from the package. I don't need multiple folders going into my inventory that I now have to delete. Another thing I hate is unpacker and texture HUDs that attach to the upper left or central left, where my body and head HUDs attach. Even if one doesn't constantly wear these, one needs their body HUD on while trying on clothes and dressing, in order to use the alpha cuts. I try to remind myself to always Add HUDs, but still, clothing creators should know that mesh body and head HUDs usually attach to the upper left. What's best is resizable HUDs, so if we need bigger text and buttons, we can stretch them out or shrink them if they're taking up too much space.

Suggestion: Airstrips at the north of Ranch and Mediterranean to facilitate flying between Sansara and Sartori.

The Linden Homes in Bellisseria have probably taken a bite out of the rental market. There may have been some drama within Fruit Islands too, but I can't say for sure, since "naming and shaming" is not allowed on the forums.

Bastard is a gender neutral word. Jerk is allowed. SOB is allowed. I"m pretty sure the "C-word" is not allowed. I think we all know that certain sex-specific physiology words are not allowed in their proper forms, but many silly euphemisms for them are allowed.

I highly recommend Carol's Store for any of the newer mesh bodies that are hard to find clothes for (Erika, LaraX,). The prices are reasonable and there is occasionally group store credit. There are not a huge amount of clothes yet, but the clothes they have are not trashy looking or the same meshes that half the other stores use and the creator keeps coming out with new items nearly every week. Demo first of course. (Some of the newer white items are more like light grey.)

Gaia for the neko/fox/ wolf ears. Kaya & River for the straight nose, possible bow lips & general ability to shape the heads. All the gift ones because free is fabulous! I think I'm using Logan for my guy alt.

The quality of clothing is not the same. Rebranding would be a mistake, because she would lose her customer base and have to start all over. I've seen this happen multiple times with other stores. I don't think there are many SL clothing stores that come close to the combination of quality mesh clothing, affordable prices, a large stock for many mesh body sizes, and responsive CSRs that Blueberry has.

We don't always need roads we can drive on in SL. Each Bellisseria theme offers different features. If one wants to drive a vehicle, the Traditional, Victorian, Log Home, Chalet, Newbrook, Sakura, Ranch and Mediterranean regions have good roads. If one really wants a Stilt Home with roads, there are even a few on Land that connect to the Chalet regions. I bet most of us don't drive much in SL. If we usually walk, fly, sail or teleport, we might be happy with a Linden Home region that doesn't have drivable roads. Do horses and bicycles work on the piers/ boardwalks?

Her LinkedIn page also says she "Worked in Second Life" (past tense). I'm disappointed that she decided to abandon SL. I find it hard to believe that her business here was not profitable. Although having to design for so many different mesh bodies must make it more difficult, I think she could have limited production to the top 4 or 5 and still made good money. Maybe she's decided to work only on platforms that don't have Adult content? Roblox has had controversies too, though. Are the fees for taking money out of SL too high? How much do those other platforms take out of a creator's earnings?

Good move. Always pick up your No Copy items if the situation seems tenuous.

You can disable notices from groups without quiting them, then re-enable them whenever you wish in the profile for each group. If your landlord intentionally disabled all payments, this could signal that he intends to close the rental group. Can you contact other renters to ask if they're experiencing similar problems? Since you've contacted your landlord, if he does automatically evict you, you will at least have proof that you had a technical problem and tried to remedy it. He might reinstate your rental with an apology for the confusion and possibly a week or so of free rent.

As educated adults it is our responsibility to try to be understood and to try to understand others. This is why using words that are likely to be understood to mean what we think they mean is important. Doing something that makes one feel good is not the same as doing something that improves one's resilency. For instance, people who experience PTSD might use desensitization techniques in SL that don't make them feel good, but do help to lower their negative reactions. Forcing oneself to keep talking with and listening to someone who is irritating, might help one to understand them even if it also increases one's own stress level temporarily.

I think additions such as the scar are often an attempt to tell something about the avatar or the user. As such, it makes your avatar more interesting. If he were a RP character it might signal that he's been in battle or had a rough life. Some people want to signal something like this about their RL self too. Thus people seeing the scar will probably wonder what it means, which will mean they are at least thinking about you and your avatar. Some people might be turned off by any kind of injury or deformity on an avatar, but those might be the kind of people you'd rather weed out.

That lottery game has my attention. Is it for group only? How much does it cost to join? Is it for store credit or lindens?
