I thought it was always like that. There is some adult discussion in some areas of the forum, so you do have to be logged in to see it. We wouldn't want underage kids reading that stuff without an account and you have to pinky promise that you are giving your correct age when you sign up.

There was some discussion a few days ago about symbols that some people use. The most recent was the "OK" hand sign that now means something completely different. I want to be a responsible consumer and I certainly don't want to accidentally buy something that has a meaning that I was unaware of and then wear it in public. I personally do not wear religious symbols or skulls (unless Halloween costume) I want to try something completely different with my avatar for fun and was looking at jewelry on the Marketplace. I found some earrings I like, but before I buy them, I was hoping someone could tell me if a symbol being used means anything other than the obvious. It is 3 crescents and a circle. I am hoping this doesn't turn into debates and opinions on what should be allowed in SL, but just a place to put a symbol to find out if there is a different meaning or any meaning. This is the symbol on the earring: Is this just a biohazard-type symbol or is there a religious meaning? The moon shapes are making me question whether I should purchase.

Anyone on the Firestorm viewer can derender any attachment on another avatar. Most people just use the derender function to get rid of eyesores around their homes like a tree that blocks their view or ugly builds their neighbors put up. Others use the feature to troll people. Yes, they can derender attachments like mesh clothing, hair and pets. This doesn't have anything to do with banning people from your land, land maturity ratings, or people who remove their own clothes.

Quick slightly off topic question, but slightly relevant, too: Where do you find these locations where you take the photos? Or are they not locations and you set up a backdrop somewhere? I love some of these atmospheric locations I see in these photos. I don't have any backdrops to use. I use the search feature and look for a region in a theme I want for the photo I want to take. It is time consuming to hop around through the search results to find exactly what I want. It can take me hours to take one photo while I just hope to find the right feel of the background I'm looking for. You = general you I'll add a photo to stay on topic. Here is my mostly gender-neutral alt who loves the fantasy theme of the Linden Homes. It is dark to capture the glow I love, so turn up your brightness or scroll on by. I took this pic when the spring color glow of green was active. If you stop by now, the regions glow in the summer colors of pink and orange.

/me yawns and stretches slowly in her warm cocoon of blankets. She usually wakes with a slight smile and a low, happy purr. Today is no different. This morning there is no sense of urgency. As she slides out of bed she enjoys the luxury of another long, slow stretch and makes her way to the coffee maker. As acutely aware as I am of having the choice of a morning like this, free of fearand pain, I know not everyone does. I will enjoy this moment and not take it for granted. The peeves can wait until after the coffee.

I haven't looked in a long time, but I bet there are account options for what kinds of emails you want from LL. If you turned off receiving certain kinds of emails, then you won't get this one. Years ago, I turned off communications from the Lab to my alts. They receive nothing. Only my main account gets email communication from the Lab and is the only one of my accounts who received the year review. Try checking your settings for notifications and emails.

Catchy pop tunes and amazing dancing. What's not to like? Admittedly, I know nothing about K-pop bands. Um, BTS is on the radio, some guy did a song called Gangnam Style a decade ago, and an US song contest was won by a gal performing a K-pop song. That's the extent of my knowledge. I lowered the camera a bit from the default, and I have 2 other presets - one for my petite avatar and one for driving.

This one... I just imagine them drawing straws and whoever gets the short one has "Moderate the Forums" added to their job description. It cannot be fun knowing you are now responsible for babysitting adults in the forum instead of whatever you would rather be doing like creating things inworld or fixing SL roads and bridges or marketing or scripting or whatever. I am sure none of them are sitting around 24/7 reading what we write, but I bet they watch certain threads closer than others. It seems like they would rely on us, as forum users, to alert them to possible issues with TOS and CS by using the abuse reports as they should be used - to draw attention to things they miss. I feel for the mods having to read some of the ARs that I figure have been sent in. They called me a name. They made me mad. They said something I didn't like. My feelings have been hurt. Make them pay! Give them a ban. I have AR'd this 10 times. Why won't you do anything about it? I am sorry, moderators, for my part in doing anything to cause you spend time deleting one of my posts instead of making SL better for us. I will still skate on the edge occasionally, but I will now be more aware of the pain I cause you. 🙊

I rarely AR. Never for ideas I don't agree with. Mostly I AR when a random new account logs in and starts spewing hate, racist comments, or seems to have no purpose but to abuse someone else. If those posts don't get removed quickly, I'll work to move them to page two so they're less disruptive. I don't think I've ever AR'd a regular forum poster. I recently used the ignore option on a few people I thought had no purpose to their positions except to be argumentative. If I don't believe that YOU believe the crap you post, I will just not read your posts anymore. I won't, however, try to deprive others of reading your posts. That is their choice.

With the inspect box already open, try again to click what you want and it might appear. If you right click the creator in the box, you can still open the profile even when the rest of the info disappears.
