    I don't have a specific region to go to, but I just want to see if you are open to revisiting some of the places you tried. It is hard getting accepted by a close friend group. Instead of just going once or twice, revisit the same places at the same times over and over. People will get to know you over time. Clubs have slow times, but going to the same places means people will recognize you. You're not just an unknown person passing through never to be seen again. Friendships take time and familiarity. I wish you the best.

    You must have access to different grocery stores than I do. I am glad you have the time to prepare your fresh food everyday before it goes bad and then time to do the dishes and relax a bit before bed. Convenient way to live, if you can do it.

    My diet leaves a lot to be desired. I should add more fresh food in. I do eat raw veggies and hummus a lot and cook full roasts on weekends. Peeve: Eating healthy is expensive and takes time to prepare fairly often or it spoils. I don't have time to go to the grocery several times a week. Canned food lasts forever on the shelf.

    Chores at night? Eff that for several reasons. I am a morning person. I wake at 4:30am everyday whether I want to or not. I jump out of bed filled with energy and ready to attack my day. I regularly work 12 hour days, have a loooong commute to get to work, and sometimes still hit the gym on the way home. In the evening, I'm lucky to microwave a can of soup or eat a bowl of cereal and milk over the sink before physically crashing (sometimes with my shoes still on.) Those dishes will be there tomorrow AND the next day. I cook on the weekends, though, and clean as I go, so there is never a big mess. Peeve: There are a lot of right ways to live, but we each think our own is the only right way.

    I haven't been inworld much this past week, but I am changing up one of my houses completely. It is a Linden home. I returned everything in it and chose an entirely new house style. It still needs some work. I like the floor tile pattern, but it is not seamless, so it won't do. I still have 70 prims available, so I can put out a few more decorations, too! Here are the alts sitting while I cam around decorating. One has most of the landscaping and the other has most of the furniture. They are so patient. The color palette is much more gray/black than this pic shows. Here it all looks blue.

    If you're going to start over anyway, just delete everything you own and have a fresh account. It's no different than starting over with nothing, except you keep your name and friends.

    People make avatars for all kinds of reasons. I make "leave me alone" avatars. Some don't update their avatars at all and don't care how they look. They'd prefer to be known or liked for who they are and not how they look. Plenty of people aren't in SL to watch their or other's avatars jiggle. I am rarely swayed by someone's great looking avatar over who they are as a person. I make pretty avatars, too. It's fun to manifest some kind of physical ideal.

    They usually only show up if someone calls them, so are you complaining about the mods or the reporters?

    I suppose closing the entire thing is easier than removing the bickering children. It's a shame that so many topics are closed while doing nothing about the people causing the lock, though.

    The forum already has a garbage section. It's the General Discussion section. Anything that doesn't fit under the other sections can go there. If a person's only goal is to create conflict, there are other forums to check out that aren't run by the Lab. Announcing that you blocked someone is only done for effect and is always off-topic. I will announce my unblock days, though, in the Pet Delights thread where it's not off-topic. Sometimes that unblocking only lasts until I read the next post, but no one needs to know that except me. Right now I have 2 people blocked. Both Master Baiters.

    I was feeling a bit down yesterday which doesn't happen often. I logged in my main account to find a rainy region to visit and a friend to listen without judgement while I complained about life's woes. Found one! Sulk whine pout... Then I released my inner drama llama and made it ever better with photography! 😄

    Peeve: When forumites, who have been around long enough to know how posted topics around here ebb and flow, post a real life controversial topic that they know will receive blow back then act surprised and victimized when someone calls them out on it. Isn't that considered flaming? Posting just to get a negative reaction? Same with the immaturity of constant name calling. Isn't that posting just to get a negative reaction? It's certainly not posting to engage in discussion. Maybe I'm wrong in what I think flaming is. Is it "intent" and therefore can't be proven so it cant be moderated? Bonus peeve: I don't understand what flaming is.

    I could run LOD 4 all the time, but my purchasing decisions are based on LOD 2. If a creator's stuff can't be seen, no sale. I want people to see the things I set out for them to enjoy. Landscaping items with crap LODs are a real peeve. They are supposed to be visible from a distance.

    Usually friends are made doing things in SecondLife that you enjoy doing. What do you like to do in SL? When are you usually logged in/timezone? What languages do you speak? Music? Creating things? Discussion groups? Role-playing?

    I pulled into myself and had a much needed full-introvert day. This can only be done on an alt, so I have been building up their inventories for various projects like landscaping or decorating for months. (Thank goodness for weekend sales) Today I landscaped and had a "Cora" kind of day with no IMs, nothing demanding my time, no socializing at all. I like this boat, but it doesn't move - decoration and resting animations only. I built the waterfall from bits and pieces and love how it turned out. Trees, bushes, grasses, a bridge. I got past my frustration with the plants glitching with the water. Next, some animals and some sounds, but that can wait for another day.

    I figured it out. I had checked both boxes to deed to the group "Allow Deed to Group" and "Owner makes Contribution with Deed", but neglected to actually click the "Deed" button to make it official. Noob mistake. Thanks, though. I have never owned 2 parcels in the same region, so missed the extra step.

    I know its possible, but how to I combine the prim allotment when I have 2 parcels in the same region? Both parcels are deeded to a group, but have individual Land impact numbers not combined ones.
