I'm a bit behind on my Firefox updates, so mine is 61.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10 -- I'm seeing all the details for the posts just fine.

It's sort of an SL initiation thing
-
they couldn't dance well enough
-
For me, it was an actual dungeon, furnished with all sorts of things that I had never seen until I got to SL.
-
It was actually a very legitimate offer to a gallery of an SL artist that I love.

What I like about Thanksgiving
LittleMe Jewell replied to Pamela Galli's topic in General Discussion Forum
There are quite a few reasons actually, but I'll not get in to it here. Kanry's response was close enough. -
They were talking about one of us receiving a random request from someone asking us to TP them to our location -- presumably for some unsolicited cuddle/sexy time. Thus respond to said idiot by TPing to a location high in the sky and then sending the requested TP offer. ETA - Apparently I'm a bit behind on the responses, since this was already cleared up.

Why does it cost serious money to own a sim?
LittleMe Jewell replied to Rob Huntsman's topic in General Discussion
It's in his blood - how can he resist. -
I am so definitely doing this with the next random TP request I get. I'm so un-creative - I never think of things like this.

I'd poke a hole in the bottom first to see what is inside and then give away the yucky ones - like the ones that have coconut in them. /me points for forum avatar title

I purchased way more yesterday than normal. Then I told myself that I had enough new clothes/shoes/etc..., so instead I bought 4 huge gift cards from places that had them marked down to 50% off.
-
Where's the fun in that.
-
Apparently *should* is the operative word here. The actual gift box is indeed in the air at present time.

Looks like wine - thus no such thing as "too full".

For the ones that are giving 50% off on gift cards, if I like the stuff then I'm just picking up a gift card for now. Then later it will be the same as buying the items at 50% off. There's never enough time in SL for all the shopping.

Non-International Card using still having issues
LittleMe Jewell replied to RockyDenten's question in Linden Dollars (L$)
Taking the dollar is the way the verification works - the dollar will go back soon. Typically though, if it successfully takes the dollar, then it considers the card good. Thus it sounds like you'll actually need to talk to Billing - though that will have to wait until Monday since they are closed today for the holiday weekend. Billing support phone numbers Toll-Free (US/Canada): 800.294.1067 Long-Distance: 703.286.6277 Our Billing team is available from 9am to 6pm EST(6am to 3pm PST), Monday through Friday.- 14 replies

Yes, once I get past the initial grieving, when something reminds me of someone now gone, I tend to think of the good times with them and smile.

This would be great, especially since there is no way to truly 'search' your purchase history on the MP. I think I'll actually go search JIRA and add this suggestion if it isn't already there.

Reasons not to start a "Happy Thanksgiving" thread
LittleMe Jewell replied to Phorumities's topic in General Discussion Forum
While many of Phorumities statements are extremely far-right and sometimes/often 'white supremacist', I saw the OP as more of a sarcastic statement again Political Correctness in general. That is possibly the difference between someone who tends to see the middle more and doesn't automatically make assumptions about those that I know do not view the world as I do, versus those that are very far left or right and thus pretty much always see the other side as evil.
