I was looking for this option the other day, as I considered turning it off. However, I now cannot find such an option anywhere in my forum settings. I'm obviously blind.

I saw this Ice Carving in the news this morning (one of the winning entries in a yearly ice sculpture contest). I've either been in SL too long, or simply have my mind in the gutter too much, but this has some serious sexual connotations to me:

I still have an old 1960s chest freezer in my garage. It still works wonderfully, though does occasionally need a defrosting by hand.

Editing the Viewer's Look & Feel
LittleMe Jewell replied to EnCore Mayne's topic in Second Life Viewer
Do you ever feel like you are talking to yourself here? -
Unless you are scolding them, dogs are always excited to see you. That's been my experience anyway

Wedding Photographer ?
LittleMe Jewell replied to Benson Gravois's topic in General Discussion Forum
You can place put a thread in Employment asking for photographers to contact you. You could also search that section to see if any have advertised there. -
Why did you leave IMVU for Secondlife?
LittleMe Jewell replied to Calartuir's topic in General Discussion Forum
I was never at IMVU. Found SL and never looked for anything else. -
Or you are still using a System head, like me.

Can I delete folders from the "Library" in my Inventory?
LittleMe Jewell replied to af41's question in Inventory
Correct - You can no longer exclude the Library in either Firestorm. Ditto for the LL viewer. Not sure about other third party viewers. -
Replace the beans and tomatoes with a couple of different kinds of fruit like bananas, blueberries, grapes, blackberries and I'll be home for breakfast. Your home that is. 😋 Someone would also need to banish those mushrooms for me. The eggs look wonderful -- I love mine sunny side up or over easy, so the yolk is still runny.

Wow, that is impressive. Even my most 'complex' flexi outfit from the olden days, with a CI of 2.6 million, still only has roughly 85 million tris

I did read the notecards, but apparently put that bit of info off to the side - I do recall it now that you mention it.

Next test: An alt that was in my land group came to my parcel. As expected, she was not added to the ban list (security object is deeded to the group that owns the land) and the Access land tab does say 'allow group with no restrictions'. She was then Ejected from the group, but she still did not get added to the land ban list. She walked out of the Parcel and back, but still was not added to the ban list. Then she left the Region and came back -- that is when she got added to the ban list. @Gabriele Graves- Is that expected behavior (script only scanning for region entry/exit)?

In Firestorm, under the 'World / Show More' menu, one can: Hide Ban Lines Show Ban Lines On Collision Show Ban Lines On Proximity I tested with an alt (alt is in land group, land is owned by land group, alt was manually added to the ban list). i.e. This test was only testing viewer settings related to seeing ban lines, not testing anything related to the security device (the device was not rezzed). As to the security device: I tested with an alt that is not in the land group and she did not get any messages in chat when she was added to the ban list, nor when removed from the ban list.

That is definitely not a new excuse. I actually heard that line a few times back in my early SL days when I was exploring some of the sexual aspects of the environment.

One of the authors that I read and get periodic emails from, sent me a link to a Bookfunnel page of tons of free fantasy novels from various authors - to get you to try them out. The books come via email, in Kinde epub format, so I can easily email them to my Kindle. Today I realized that over the past week I have downloaded 160 free books. 🤣 That's a lot of reading that I've got to do.

True. However, now that the incident is resolved, it is still a good idea to have documented it on the Grid Status page. The page currently shows: Maybe they will retroactively document it after the weekend. I know they mostly don't work on the weekends, other than fixing critical breaks (and some customer support)

I have AR'd such before and they have disappeared. Possibly folks put them back a few days later and then they'd have to be AR'd again. Multiple occurrences of the same infraction will get someone banned from having an Linden Home. When I submit an AR for something about a Linden Home, I keep an LM and go back to check on the issue. If the issue is still there a week later, I AR again - I make the assumption that my AR was handled and the home owner put the item back out a few days after LL returned it to them.

Raffle boards for charitable orgs OK?
LittleMe Jewell replied to Sasun Steinbeck's topic in General Discussion Forum
If I remember correctly, at one of the large yearly events, we could buy raffle tickets for prizes. Each purchased ticket was for a specific prize, nothing random, but since there was only one prize, there was definitely a chance to not get anything for your money. I don't remember this those still existing last year at events. Nor do I remember for sure which event, but I'm thinking it was the yearly American Cancer benefit event.- 9 replies

Now I'm nervous. The stupid little "you need to restart to finish updates" has been glaring at me for over a week now, but I've been putting off the reboot. Now I want to put it off even more.
