Yeah, but you could stand at the edge of a region and turn your draw distance up to 1024m. Wouldn't you see the moles building stuff then?

To get your tier down to the next slot, you need to only be contributing 5120 to the group (1024 + 4096). That's 895 less than your current 6015 contribution. The group has 2 Land Available, so it would either need someone else to make a contribution of 893, or abandon/sell 893. The smallest slice of land possible is 16 m2. 893 / 16 = 55.8125. You can't cut up a 16 m2 parcel to get 0.8125 of a 16 m2 parcel, hence you'll need to abandon/sell 56 of those little 16 m2's, or a total of 896 m2. My analysis differs from @Mollymews. I'm not sure why. Your best bet is to go ahead and reduce your group contribution to 5120 -- everyone's in agreement that that's the amount needed to boop you down to the next tier level. Your viewer should then inform you of how many m2's are lacking a contribution given the current amount of land owned. That's the amount of land you'll either need to have someone else donate, or abandon/sell. If you go the abandon/sell route, divide the number by 16, round up, then multiply by 16 (because you can't cut land smaller than 16 m2). Hope that helps. Keep us appraised of any developments. 🙂

Gaaaaahhhhh, please reword this if you make another prediction. You got me all excited, almost went in game to abandon a place so an alt can have a fantasy home. Sure, it's a GREAT wish, but please don't lead with it. It makes it sound like a for sure thing, like Patch made an announcement or something. Instead, something like, "Who wants this too? Fantasy Homes on 08/02!" Other than that, I hope so too. We can even make it a hashtag. 🙂 #FantasyHomesByAugust02

First thing I do when acquiring a new parcel is going straight to the Sound tab to delete any music url, turn off Restrict sound to parcel, and turn off Voice. Then I delete anything in the Media tab, and check the Options settings to ensure they're how I want them for the given parcel.

Also click the pause the playlist box or whatever it's called so that you can go through the list before the data changes.

You're by the watertower, apparently, based on the pictures. I just don't recall what region that is, though I could point to the general area on a map. I'm not in-game at the moment. My meatspace avi needs to increase its food bar level.

I tried to use my human cannonball to shoot myself over the mountain and land at your place. I either need to adjust the angle, or add more gunpowder lol I wound up way up in the sky, right over the peak, then falling until I smashed into the top of the mountain.

Well, already had these settings, it still wouldn't work...until I looked and noticed I didn't have "show selection beam" checked. So I checked it, and then it worked.

I still can't get this to work (using Firestorm). As soon as I try to derender, it changes the selection from a bunch of stuff to just the latest object selected.

Great idea! That's the way to do it. So of course people instead make those giant yellow banline-inspired parcel border markers for folks who dare to turn off ban lines and property lines. "Yer gonna know this land is MINE even if you're a kilometer away!" 🙄
