  1. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
  2. Maybe the sorceress got through? lol
  3. Someone casting spells to try to break down the barrier between Hanshin and Barney's Fief
  4. Another ship popped in While I wear a mole-made mage robe for good luck
  5. From time to time I used to roleplay that I was the same age as my main account. Eventually I created an alt that is exclusively dedicated to such roleplay. So as far as I'm concerned, she just had her 15th rez day as well. I call the day I created her account as her Pixelation Day, the day she became an independent digital lifeform with her own account. Naturally, she expects presents for BOTH her Rez Day and Pixelation Day! 😁🎁🧖‍♀️😀
  6. "Eh, little known fact, Normie: Not only are there no Cliff Claven avis on The Marketplace, but there are only six mailmen under Apparel." https://marketplace.secondlife.com/products/search?search[category_id]=3&search[keywords]=mailman&search[maturity]=General&search[page]=1&search[per_page]=12&search[sort]=created_at_desc "Although, at one point Rabid Cheetah had a parcel that had a big sudden drop off due to the surrounding terrain's level, so she called it 'Clavin's Cliff'."
  7. And the ultimate in irony, ranting about off-topic crapola, and then telling someone "Do you have a Mainland community? You could talk about that." [ROTFL-MAO]
  8. "It doesn't need to be your actual rez day to celebrate your rez day." -- Zen and the Art of Virtual Living
  9. You see evil evil evil socialism everywhere. If someone says "I like ice cream cones", you're likely to inform them that ice cream cones used to come in rectangular pastries, not cones, because those darn socialists had to take their portion. And not just a single sentence -- a f-ing thesis paper. "I like kitty cats." "Oh, well, did you know that from 1857 to 1913 the Communist Party of Timbuktu used a cat as their symbol?" And so on and so forth. Who died and made you Cliff Clavin? Additionally, you're one of the few folks here who personalizes things, hurling epithets at people, including myself. This has put you at the number two spot on my, well, "number two" list of frequent forum posters. That's all I'm gonna say, as it's 6:00 p.m. slt, and time for the Rabid Ranting Socialist Rachel Maddow Show on Microsoft's Socialist Nationalist Bolshevik Collective [MSNBC].
  10. Exactly. There's a big difference between occasionally saying "I don't like socialism" and posting a rambling off-topic personal Capitalist Manefesto over and over and over in EVERY. DAMNED. THREAD.
  11. Come back to SL...come back to SL...come back to SL...
  12. I think I will too. Especially given the rave reviews it's gotten here. 😁
  13. How to Hijack Yet Another Thread: Turning the Second Life Forums Into a Constant Rage-Rant Against Socialism by Blab R. Mouth If there's one thing we can all agree on is that Socialism is yucky pooey bad bad bad and that blah blah this is a clear example of Marxist-Lenninist thought brought into the digital era by a blah blah blah blahgity blah blah. Furthermore, and more further, such attacks against land barrons destroy capitalism, peace, justice, and the American Way, and, dare I say, and indeed I do dare, to dare to say, that is to say that I dare to dare to say, a blatant terrorist attack on baseball, hot dogs, and apple pie. Blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah, such groups cause global warming every time they pass gas blah blah blah spam spam bacon and spam, eggs and spam, toast and spam in a light spam sauce, and by the way Burger King is the Anti-Christ, spam spam spam spam, spam spam spam spam, spam! Wonderful spam! Blah blah blah nonsense that no one reads or cares about blah blah blah!
  14. Anyhow, It's a small multiregional lake on Jeogorut or whatever the "J" shaped continent is called: South End Slurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Seoraksan/54/12/59 North End Slurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dongyeongju/214/162/51 Or, to get to the part of the Linden Underwater Tube that's by my place: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Seoraksan/39/252/4 Note that this is one of the few spots where the tube is phantom, so you can walk right through to my parcel. Or, if you'd rather go direct to the above-water part of my parcel, on the dock (as I've yet to get around to furnishing the inside of the lighthouse): http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Seoraksan/19/248/21 Lighthouse by the Linden Underwater Tube "This is the second lighthouse built here, as the first was destroyed when it was hit by debris from FlyUs flight 561." There are a few treasures to see if you walk, drive, or swim along the route. Here's one of my favorites: And YES, @Feorie Frimon, the Route 9 pods occasionally DO travel this underwater highway! 😲
  15. Then by a whole lot of building activity by some new neighbors:
  16. It's become a bit more built up since those pictures were taken. First with stuff I've added:
  17. lol thanks! And feel free to stay on the lawn. I don't think I've ever had to tell someone to get off my parcel in all these years. Though I did get banned from my first next door neighbor's place when I dared cross the parcel border to say hello lol My first exposure to Pixel Rage 🤷‍♀️
  18. They're out there, but most just put a deck on top of it and build a house. Few build below the waters. And the rarest of all are when it's the Lindens who've built a highway underwater.
  19. OK, see, this could ALSO be an underground bunker, because of the rock you built. Or something to put on a mountaintop if you flatten the top of the mountain a bit. Today's my 15-year rez-day, and I STILL can't build beyond basic prims. So well done, dude.
  20. I don't get bonding boxes either. But the pictures help. Apparently round looking rocks aren't really round, they're rectangular blocks that only look round. So if you push a round-looking object right up to the border of your parcel, it looks like it's all on your parcel, but it's not: the bounding box edge is way over the parcel border. Did I get it right? I hope so. Some of us are open to learning. Others are so backwards-thinking that you can't even wish them a happy Juneteenth. 😉
