Thanks for sharing, now watching the JIRA. I have a 1080 so this caught my attention, but Jira Environment shows 1070? And courageous, that jumping to Win10 2004! EDIT: Related to a different Jira, I disable my Intel and enable only the 1080, and all runs stellar - grateful for that! Unknown if it helps, but in my case with the Intel disabled, left monitor as primary, and only the 1080 enabled - my FS viewer launches seemingly fine on the monitor I "closed" it prior on, either left primary, or right.

Good gosh this is frustrating. Still happening of course. It takes soooooooo much time to put up even a single new or edited item ad that it makes it no fun at all to do it. I cannot ignore the other what is it six language tabs, because using Quick Fill for a "blue" item, will show "Blue" in the other languages ads but the customer will e.g. receive a bag with a "grey" item. This Jira shows no assigned priority? eww, eww, ask me ask me! Somewhat afraid to admit to myself that I have a list of open issues (not minor, and not just my own), and am confused as to what is priority? Perhaps it is just me and I am being grumpy, it wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last. That's what copy/paste and editing all those tabs in MP ads will do to a person 🤔.

I am watching intently. I almost hesitated to renew annual last year. This because the possibility occurred to me that the up-level new premium might actually pull some current Premium bennies into the new level (where the old premium I was subscribing to for a full year might be *less* later in the year, etc.).

Sharing why I use radar. It has its very positive uses which benefits others as much as me when I use it. When I travel to Public or Premium sandboxes, I use radar to see where [anyone else] currently is already working. Once I see where everyone else already is, I instantly walk to a clear spot and get out of their way. Especially useful if I may be at that location more than a few minutes. Without radar I would have only visuals, and I keep my draw distance small to avoid seeing all kinds of scattered sky objects, etc. Without radar I would have to bump into someone right up close before ever seeing them first! Who wants to trip across other(s) on the way to a simple little spot in a sandbox, or be building and be bumped into by avi after avi while they are building something complex... It's distracting, and I am happy to avoid being a distraction. As to LL's countless other measures on privacy, to my understanding LL does what it is required to do on privacy. I would not be surprised if as a business LL only does what it is required. And if they do more I would equally not be surprised, but I wouldn't expect it. I don't like my privacy tripped across either. But largely it has been by accident, not nefarious and they leave quickly. If instead you are uncomfortable more about someone stalking or griefing you, there are other ways you can respond to that. But radars aren't the evildoers and so unfortunately removing radars would not remove the evildoers. And so we loop back around to this, words of wisdom echoed for decades:

Good reasoning. My thinking is that when I spend, it circulates to others (who may or may not cash out). The incentive for both groups is to do it all over again and receive another payment of some kind, be it Lindens or cash. True that those who cash out may not take 100% of those dollars and reintroduce those into SL. But of course as one who never cashes out (only in lol), I cannot control what others take away. But I can feel I/we all contribute by spending internally, and the hope is that those who have for years been inspired to advertise to attract my/others spending continue to do so. It may not make good sense to SL to raise the Stipend, or it may given some challenges, diversions, and other stuff going on this year. Sometimes only time will tell the good decisions from the not-so. And I really wonder if any business plan, this moment in time, will remain exactly the same as what made sense January of this year.

Waves hiya! Aware, and that has been the case for a good while now of course. Point was use has shown me that this benefit seems more unlikely/not possible, than likely/possible to receive. Which might suggest the value of another conversation at the official conference table as to whether it (or even other bennies) should be promised as a benefit.

So really, see now, for those of us who never ever "cash out" Lindens, my first thought was something like - Lindens just slosh around from individual to individual within game and never go away... but of course, if one "cashes out" that makes ALL the difference. I would gladly look for an option in my Premium membership, to "never cash out" - and get instead of L$300 a week, a stipend of L$500 or $750 a week just to "recycle Lindens" to fellow Residents. My weekly upload image fees alone at L$10 per image burn me up every time I see that pop-up remind me.

A mention only, that I recalled this particular advertised Premie benefit only two or three days ago, as I repeatedly received the Sim Full reject prompt consistently for over an hour plus. So either this isn't a benefit anymore for anyone (or possible due to some "condition" not published), or it is a benefit but it is/was broken for me in that moment, or perhaps other craftie avis flew in there and "camped" for an hour-plus maybe and their Premie age was bigger than mine lol. Cos no, that day this Premie didn't get that benefit. And yes, I thought about support... which lead me to recalling that Grid Status "[behind on support tickets]" comment posted... which lead to my recalling my 6 weeks in progress now Premie support ticket I submitted for the Marketplace search (invoices) being broken... which lead me to believe contacting support would only add to the already 6+ weeks behind queue and would further contribute to my wondering how things are really going... EDIT: Adding that elevated Support is also a Premie benefit.

Could someone at a conference table have mentioned redoing the Logo as a way to brighten up things round these parts during a pandemic? Could the response from leaders have been sure take a stab at it, so long as it doesn't take you more than ten minutes because the support tickets are backed up and we're all booked triple? Would a ten minute max investment only allow for changing of font and hand logo color? All possible. If the update redesign happened in ten minutes away from the other stuff needing attention, this seems a good thing. Factoring in with the ten minute investment the benefit that a change in logo, even if it is updated slowly, implies visually SL is growing, changing, has a future, and it is *bright*.

At the time I went to Live Chat, who converted my report to a support ticket, I waited, a few days later I added a comment that it was continuing and included exactly what I had searched for and pasted the error hoping they might go to server logs etc. and see what the kink is. I then received a response in the ticket they would be investigating and would respond any findings once known in the ticket. Backlog of tickets. I got the same error yesterday when I tried, so no changes yet for me.

Today less than half of the folks I passed in public had masks on. I saw children with adults out and both had on masks. But saw as many more adults not wearing any and casually strolling within two feet of those that do, seemingly without a care in the world. Four U.S. quarters buys you a cheap bandanna to wrap round your head, which bandanna passes for legal as a non-medical face mask. Too, essential retails chains have maintained stock of bandannas and mask stand-ins consistently for months. That an adult -- any adult -- is out in public and doesn't have a mask on and worn properly is perplexing. So though we are perhaps being told by some they aren't wearing because they don't have a mask, truly they may not have one. But it's not because the world hasn't made masks available to them, on the cheap or free.

Hi all, I am receiving the Gateway timeout when searching Marketplace orders. I consistently received this yesterday and let it go meh right. Since I am receiving it today again I thought I would mention. Checking grid status, I see a viewer search issue, but this is using the MP search. I cannot use the workaround provided using "search.secondlife.com" to find my invoice orders 🙂 All else similar seems to run fine for me really. Not sure whether the fact that I now have almost 1000 pages of "items per page 5" invoices to search through is contributing. I do know prior to my noticing this yesterday it was searching for me just fine with no errors. I do know that I can search this way is quite helpful every day for me. I spent yesterday at one store clicking through one ad at a time to my invoice and redelivering etc. Painful lol. Sharing that whether SL is busier these days/stay at home orders etc., doesn't make it any less important that it work without errors for me. Just when I get comfy about dumping/cleaning up inventory and relying upon MP redelivery, *wak* up the side of the head. Could there be/is there a known reason that I am seeing this consistently (other than more folks at SL workin the MP, or its related somehow to the grid viewer search issue and its just not posted anywhere yet?) Thanks! I ran and did that. I looked in Apps in Nvidia, then I also went to the Nvidia Control Center which looks a little different. The 32 bit FS remains usable, though I hit a max after a few hours of memory and have to relog. But its livable and fast. No noticeable difference setting the EXE inside Nvidia, and Info still shows Intel. Although if the Windows 8 was designed to show that way in info, perhaps Intel showing there is/not necessarily telling also? The 64 bit FS, added to Nvidia, but remains the same black bkgd (specifically, the orange graphics/no graphics/nothing but black black black show anywhere). Oddly enough, I just tried to logon, I can tell where the username pswd boxes and tab to Home - am I logged in? Maybeeee - I just cannot tell because just about everything is black. Not sure what those bars are. 64 bit where I may/not be logged in So-on the same pc, same settings, same Nvidia app settings for both EXE files, Win 10 settings that I am aware of, same antivirus settings, same conditions otherwise seemingly - what could cause that [overlay??] over the 64 bit version, but not have the [overlay?] when starting and running the 32 bit version? Watch it be something silly, like I didn't dot-an-eye or cross a tee :))) - though that would be good news to know what it is.

Knowing we have a mix of pros and hobbiest folks in this audience, I can see how you might believe a hobbiest might have missed in the info above "Windows 8" after I said I was running Win10. I would not be on the hobbiest side. To me, and you, that stood out naturally. If you knew me, you'd know when I shared that I was running Windows 10 Home, I live the dream for sure. I saw above too in the Firestorm info, and knowing the facts as I live them, it appears something in FS or Windows 10 is sending/receiving wrong OS info to my 32 bit FS. And if any question, officially yes, this is a "gamers pc". Windows 10 EDIT ADD gpu screencap, is set to Nvidia. When set to Nvidia instead of default Intel, fps went heavenly: GPU set High Priority/Nvidia Thanks for trying. Respectful responses always appreciated, And there may be no answer, which is fine. But many of us love riddles. Here it seems likely the issue when it is identified will be much more interesting than OS identity in the info. 🙂

The 64 bit remains the same this morning, where the background orange fails to load/no login. The 32 bit FS which works well, on Windows 10 Home. This pc has Intel and Nvidia, and in Windows 10 settings I have assigned the fs .EXE to use High Performance/Nvidia, and depending on window size I am getting between 70-170 fps today so the 32 bit (below) I am happy with. Looking for some understanding of the difference I am experiencing between the 64 and 32 bit viewers today. Starting yesterday I have been running a 64 bit gamers pc, fresh reset of Windows 10. I installed FS 64 bit early on, and was astounded with super performance and consistent fps upwards to 190. Over many restarts and power ups all days long, I ran FS again and again, and worked it hard, with the same results. Really happy. I powered up and ran that same FS 64 this morning to a perpetual black background. I could mouseclick in the form fields for username and password, it moved the cursor forward when I typed, and I could tab to the password field and it moved the cursor as I typed there. But I cannot tell if any text was really registering (black bkgd/black font presumed). >> I uninstalled FS 64 and installed SL Viewer with the same experience. >> I uninstalled SL viewer, installed FS 32 bit, and it works great - but fewer fps. What could cause such a difference in one day, where 64 bit viewer works stellar, then wont even allow me to login on both FS and SL 64 bits? And why would the 32 bit FS then work today, when at the same time the 64 bit FS and SL won't? All the guesses I have for why seem to be refuted in almost 15 hours of stellar performance yesterday. We could talk about parts/resources and such, but 15 hours of hard labor and many restarts and power down/ups yesterday suggests the parts work together fine under a good deal of use. Appreciate any thoughts on what the difference is.

My ads are in some cases still broke, but I think I am unclear on what the fix will be fixing. I twill be watching for clarity on whether a fix will take care of the non-English ad pages issue, and if also fixing the reported unclear images issue. On the images, I cannot really tell on mine perhaps due to a legacy graphics card. Also unclear if the title/body text is broken if it isn't also "translated" with the perimeter text on the page, after one selects a non-English language using the SL drop-down menu at the top of the page. That may be as-expected/not broken. I never checked those pages prior to this so wouldn't know. But I still have some seemingly perpetually broken non-English page ads, of various ages, with no titles/non-English pages, and on those broken I still get the Internal Server Error Please try again in a few minutes message after clicking [Buy Now]. **What I don't want to do, is do anything now, where after a fix I then have to re-edit or correct any images or text or resave old ads. Having to do that would be anti-entertaining, and make me wanna log out. So I am in a holding pattern.

FWIW, I just checked the same new ad from yesterday mentioned above, and changing from English to any other language now seems to show all text/images I last saved. If actions were taken ahead of next week ty! EDIT: Of course, now I want to edit the ad, but I am just not gonna go there on a lovely Saturday morning... Does translation typically only translate the perimeter/not the title/body text?

I just added a new ad with pics, title and body. The first save took fully (visually) in English. But in all other languages I saw only the "Bag" name in the title still, and body text missing. Then I go to update the images only, and it wont update (or is it?). In Firestorm it shows me confirmation of the update > Preview ad shows with the edits fine (English) > External Chrome shows me the old page - I log out (Marketplace/Chrome) I log back in and the pics then are a mix of what I added/deleted. Indefinitely. Hmmm on pics in ads that cannot be corrected.

Interesting! Checking mine, English looks fine - all ads as far as I can tell. I switched to French, and some "Titles" and entire "body" of certain ads were empty white zones = no text. They were "older" ads, but not ancient ads. Items missing text I had added various times prior - some dated November 2019, others January 2020. I have added new listings as recent as the last two days, that have not been affected. Too, on the affected ads, some appear to have a text title with missing body text, except the "Title" is my uploaded Bag name (prefix "Bag...") which I always change out that text when creating the ad. In those cases, the title seemingly had to be changed (reverted?) by the system sometime after I saved and double viewed the ad for what I wanted it to say. That this has affected items that I created once and never edited since, and on items created in some cases months apart but has not seemingly affected the ads I created between those two dates... hmmm
