Thanks for calling my double prim land ample and fancy but what you do not understand, which I believe I previously stated is none of my land touches LL water which is why I was looking for a place to rent. Finding somewhere connected to a waterway means we could rez our boats then sail them from there rather than rezzing them on land and trying to move them to water without them being returned by any autoreturn on the way. Considering some of the people I Was sailing with are not very familiar with SecondLife (They have used it a handful of times in the past but had not used it recently enough to know the controls very well) I did not want to deal with the hassle of either getting them to give me edit permissions, or teaching them how to move their objects far enough to get to the water. If we were going cycling or driving on the other hand, then sure I have numerous parcels close enough to of touching LL roadways and we have used them in the past for cycling. I have since bought a few seaside parcels so next time I invite my friends onto SecondLife for something that requires access to LL water, I should hopefully have a spare parcel to use.

You can only get it from the mailbox if you own a parcel or the group owned land control box if you are in a group that owns the parcel. I've bad pretty bad luck with the control box though, for some reason it doesn't seem to work most of the time for my avatar but it works with my rental avatar.

If you were a better business owner your message would have said something more than just a link. After that confusing link I did not ask you about rentals because my impression of you from the single link message was that you do not care about your tenants and won't be very helpful to me. If you actually cared you would have sent a message along the lined of "Hi, if you are messaging me regarding the spam you have received please read this page. If you are inquiring about rentals please let me know this is the case." Sure I am a landlord but I deal exclusively with double prim mainland regions (Bay city, Nautilus, Horizons) and as such none of my parcels have access to water. They come close to water but do not allow me and my friends to rez boats and sail them in any form. Rather than buying an expensive parcel connected to water just for a few rides then needing to pay tier and sell it or abandon it, it was cheaper for me to rent a parcel for a few weeks.

You want me to say the context? I was looking for some land to rent as I wanted something temporary with access to water for a bit of a boat ride and messaged you. Instead of receiving a reply that made and sense to me I received a link to a blog post that made absolutely no sense to me at the time. I have since found someone else to rent through and went sailing with a few friends and now no longer have that parcel. I'm glad you sent me such a ridiculous reply, because now I know to never rent from you.

I left a 1 star review on a product because I contacted the merchants staff and received no response in over 2 weeks (multiple messages to them). My review was because their support is non-existent and my review was removed. Only after I left the review did I get any response from anyone, giving me some stupid excuse for them not getting back in touch sooner.

As a customer I would like to see it harder for merchants to have negative reviews removed.

I actually just used one of the pods yesterday. I was looking around the grid and got a little confused by some linden owned land/builds I Was seeing. When I saw a pod come back I hopped on and it gave me some information about the place clearing some of my confusion.

in his group everyone is charged due to the amount needed each week and the number of members. that being said there would be some rounding causing some to be charged more than others and by paying into the groups funds this will also go through rounding when being sent out and may not be sent to the same people.

I'm assuming you would pay a group deeded object which would cause it to be added to the group's L$ balance. therefore reducing the next debit appropriately.

It doesn't always seem fair though, especially when a parcel has been abandoned for a long period of time giving people who had an intrest in it a chance to request it, then because no one else has you request it and rather than being sold to you it is put up for auction and bought by someone who then tries to flip it for profit. Sometimes I spend entire days flying through the grid looking for abandoned land I want to buy, if it goes to auction the chances are that I won't be able to be online for the end of the auction forcing em to either put a bid much higher than it should be worth early (which would cause me to pay more than if I had put the bid in at the last minute) or lose the land. In that case it means a loss of an entire day spent searching for it only for it to be bought by someone who is likely trying to flip it for profit. I completely get it when it's recently abandoned because people might not have had a chance to see that it was abandoned but surely if it has been abandoned for more than 6-12 months then it should just go to whoever requested it. Land I have request has gone to auction so many times that I am now asking for land not to be put up for auction in my ticket. if it's not sold directly to me then I don't want it going up for auction at all. If someone else really wants it, they can put in their own request.
