Unrelated to the topic, but good to know about the void. If you live on the edge of empty water, you can buy "offsim" decoration. They are anchored on the "true" land or water, and extended out in the void. You can't enter, but sometimes it is furniture you can click on and "sit" or lay, or cuddle out of the sim. The correct word is region, but all are saying sim so.... Here, my land ends just at the boat mast. But the boats middle point, the root prim, is inside, so it can have the bow out in the void. The lighthouse, the way, the ocean waves and the rocks are all out in the void. This is of course not allowed, if it was protected water others should use too. People buy this decor just so it shall look better. As I have my sailboat - a BBX that one, I have a few yachts and other boats from BBX - but it is only for looks. I have barely a strip of water I can be in. It is good to you know if you rent, maybe what you see is not all usable. Maybe decorations are stretching out in the void. Check how big the land/water really is.

Yes, it is both usable water in SL, and also "fake" water that looks just like water when you look at it. But when you reach the region border, you can not enter. I am not a tech wiz so I can't say why it is lots of empty "water" parcels. I suppose it is pretty to look at, instead of a black void? If you open the map, like I do on Mainland, you can se name of regions, and you can click another place and get up a red ring there, and then teleport there. But in "fake" water, you get a ring that changes between blue and black, and it says "Loading..." and nothing more. And as said by @LittleMe Jewell, Bellisseria is a good place to test boats. Type in "Cedarburg" and click where you see my red circle. You look at the pier and it is two huge rez areas for boats there. Lots and lots of protected water. Edited to add: This is one of the reasons Bellisseria is so popular. Protected water you can swim and sail in around the whole continent. Or just walk on the sea bed, lol. Plus roads that other residents can't block, so you have protected roads to ride and drive on. All the grey lines you see on the bottom picture is public roads. Very easy to explore if you will move all over the place fast. Open the map, look for an intersting place. If it says "Protected land" where you click, it is open to public and you can teleport there. (Protected land = open to public, others can't block it with their objects)

Too bad that you had to do it. Remember it is lots of youtube videos for help. When asking here, it is also good to attach pictures. Where what you are wearing up on the screen and then screenshot.

Ah, thanks. So it's two different solutions now, a free HUD, if that does not work, get the eyes. My alt with a Genus head is using an applier, so I have not spent time on BoM for her eyes. Now with "modern" system eyes, the sclera isn't only white, but has shadowing that could be way too visible - like sick or infected eyes.

I'm not done with it, oh no. It was a test to see how a 50 Li low budget skybox can look. The heaviest item is the 6 Li bed, in that sideroom. I think I borrow your idea about a fake wall. I need some garlands in the big window. I had to take down some I tried because it tipped me over 50 Li.

The angle helps, it is a not so pretty home to the left outside the picture. I sound like a ***** when I say that, to each their own and when they like it, it's all well. But it's a 4096 corner lot! So easy to just ignore the neighbors.

LOGO does it so different from others. The customization HUD comes empty, but it is another box symbol with a few basic items for customization. You must attach both so you see them on your screen and click that other box. The customization HUD is then loaded with those options. You can now use it. But it isn't much. The 299 L offer for skins is a good deal. You can attach and load the HUD with them, but if you do, the head is not BoM anymore. You must use the BoM skins instead. But demo... lol.

You can take off the Genus eyes and try another option, like these: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Sweets-BoM-Mesh-Eyes-for-any-System-Eyes/20502957 But you will have to edit them in place. I have not tested them, but they are only 1 L.

Genus does not have BoM support for eyes, that's true and can't be fixed unless Genus comes with an update.

Cool, so maybe someone can make human feet for the body too. But I think there would not be many buyers. The female body market is so filled up and not many cares about triangles.

Really glad I took that skybox and not the "kitchen" or a house on the ground. If I had not practice from decorating on a modest Li budget as in Belliseria, this would be hard to fill and get the "cozy" look. My rental box say 5 over limit, but when it's updating I should be down to 49.

What I don't understand with the Regalia body, is: It is only paws. I get it, humans are not worthy. But what do furries who like Regalia do if they want different feet, like bird feet, hooves, dragon feet etc.? I mean; it is a big and versatile group of people, and all they get is paws? Does this not contradict "High modability"?

@Raspberry Crystalin RL there is often a mix of styles. I live in a 1956 built house, to my left is the 1910 house that sold half of their parcel to be the plot for this house, to my right a house that has to be older, down the street more old houses that has split their large gardens... 1980's houses in the 80's style and 2019 houses in modern style. As long as a new theme fit in the same footprint as the previous styles I think it will be fine.

Sooner or later Maitreya should adress the shoulder issues. There could be a "deformer" back to the original body so both old and new stuff can be worn. It is deformers everywhere. I have to admit, I am not seeing anything wrong with them. I don't do many pictures of my avatar now, so I do not study it well. But I wonder if the shoulders are a problem for the customer mass, or is it a few on the forum that brings it up? I don't think Maitreya will loose designer support. They are early out with new things and adapt well. The new bodies is perfect to use for me, while Slink went too far and Belleza is sleeping in some attic. That brand is really slow with updates. But it is something about Legacy. That brand has mad skills, for advertising and to get stuff created for them. You should think they had some sort of magic. I see in clothing packs, several more designers include Legacy Perky, than Maitreya Petite. And I can't remember seeing stuff for the smallchested Slink.

The costumes are because of Halloween, I doubt they have anything to do with the theme. I still wait for modern houses with big windows, so... moderately exited.

Strawberry Singh windlight, no editing besides cropping and a frame, bc I think his dignified look deserves a frame. My alt took the LOGO offer of a 1 L head. And sneaky as I am, I had bought him the Rickard head skin from Stray Dog many weeks ago as a 60 L weekend offer. I think the Catwa skin sit well on this head. (BoM) Maybe he get a body skin too, but for now is a neck fader to a freebie body skin.. Sometimes it is questions about older avatars that does not look 100 year old. This avatar look more 50 - 60 to me. Izzie's wrinkles makes the Rikard skin older, but straight from the box it isn't a twenty something either. Edit: Added one more in No Light + projectors. It show the skin tone better as it appear in SL.

I have to show that I'm ready to downgrade more alts to basic... hoping LL will give us more prims to play with in the future, then they are back to premium again. At the most I had 6 premiums. I like the place a lot, but not enough to pay for it, since I am not there anymore.
