So I decided to shorten the list a bit to save your eyes. Beginning with the fireplace wall, and working around the room. I can not say in detail how I have linked, since it is complicated, and goes criss - cross around the room. But I include a snapshot of the land impact. What is not registered in the snapshot, is the two no copy/ no mod items from Primpossible. I do not like such permissions, but I have to admit they are handy when every Li matter. Just for fun (I have strange ideas about fun) I unlinked what I had linked. I have saved 12 Li on my linking. My math is terrible, and what I learnt in school have vanished. But 12 out of 50 is a big percentage. It also allowed me to bring in a bit of personality, like the toy rack from Backbone (6 Li)and the Meshworx lamp (3 Li). I have an imaginary person in mind when I make these 50 Li setups. Edited to add: The Mudhoney blinds have an alpha prim that control the different textures. When I have selected the texture I want, I unlink and delete it. It may sound like a small and unimportant object to get rid of, but if I should use blinds in many windows, it start to add up.

It is fun to compare my styling to yours, because we are tackling this challenge totally different. Where I struggle to fit in every possible small knicknack, you go for a few items and open space. 👍

I will say the waist is not a problem. And the demo bodies react to the sliders when you go into appearance, so get a demo for yourself and work on it. My immediate thought is increase the body width, it is the #1 tab under appearance. Then go to the torso and take in the shoulders and increase love handles. I agree with the previous post that recommend Belleza Jake. I hesitate to recommend Legacy, but I admit that it is a very good body to work with. It is expensive and has a lot of triangles, so it can be hard on the system. Make sure your computers are up to date with graphics and storage. The skin is a problem, sice SL creators simply favor the V - line and abs. Pacing @Skell Daggerfor advice about this.

Yes, if the head totally disappear. She is talking about "Turning on layer" I thought she means turning the head back from BoM to applier. Maybe that or she takes the head on again, as you think.

I think it is your eyebrow shaper, if you have this problem.

I can't list what I used yet, it is a linking nightmare. I can use this as an illustration why I often have issues with textures not loading properly. I link so much that I get almost the double of textures around me as others have. I did not bother to buy the Onsu skybox. I took out a freebie from Apple Fall instead. It is annoying because the baked highlights. I can not use shadows with it. And placing objects in the fake lights from windows looked just weird. But I soldier on.

So call me a snob. I would not trust somebody to work for me who does not care about grammar and capital letters. This is an advertisement for work... You are supposed to entice me, so I hire you! Not bum a smoke from me.

The challenge with linking, is to find your best buddies. Those items that are Li 0.1 or 0.2. Partner them up with the 1.3 Li objects, and maybe the 1.4 objects can be resized a tiny fraction down to 1.3? It is almost a "waste" to link two 0.1 objects with each other. I say almost, because we often don't have time to inspect every object we rez. But for such a small place and 50 Li, it is okay. Surprisingly often the linked object are registered as 1 even when it is 1.5. This also counts for higher Li objects that can "swallow" a 0.1 - 0.2 Li object and stay the original count. This clothing rack is a perfect example. It is 5.1 Li when rezzed. After I link all the 4 posters to it, it is 5.4 Li and still 5 Li. If I had rezzed out a clothing rack and the 4 posters as individual items, it would be a Li of 9. Linking the 4 posters together would let them count as 2 Li. That is better. But linking them to the clothes rack magick the Li count for all the posters away. Objects that don't play nice is those who has a linked shadow to them, so the server weight is 1 instead of 0.5. This is annoying bc at least half my decor has a shadow that's a part of the object and can't be removed. Some objects with shadows, some without.

Reading the last posts, is it a misunderstanding here? The head model itself is in Lelutka store and named Skyler. But it will look different bc it has another skin on there. The Seth skin is created by Gac Akina, who had it in TMD September, and has most likely set it up in his store, Stray Dog. So TMD is out of the question for these two items. The free Logo mesh head is free until midnight Second Life/Pacific Time on November 6th, 2020. So it is still time to pick it up. The info about a free head can you ignore if money isn't an issue. Also be aware that the Logo head and the Lelutka head is different models. So this Seth skin will probably look bad on the free head. To get just the look in the image, you must buy the Lelutka head. For others who may read this, the free Logo head takes skins made for Catwa much better. It is a way to get your look together on a lower cost, if you can't afford a Lelutka head. I found where the skyboxes are, so I could inspect one of the new ones. It is Onsu ~ "Eggplant" Expandable Skybox ~ Base.

I wrote up what I had in my first post, I was madly lucky with linking. I even put in a snow lantern next to the snowman, and still, only 45 Li. I let it stay up a bit. I decided to remove the link. Because I will let this skybox go, and the new happy person to take it, does not need to have people teleporting in. Ow, but I want to do more looks. I can do that and you count me as just one entry? I found this fun to do, because I work so different here. If I have a Linden Home or a plot of land, I spend a lot of time on the outside, on landscaping. Only when I start to be satisfied with the outdoors, can I move in and start with furniture and decor. So this "small" space to decorate is done so fast.

I have learnt how to use spoilers like this: [SPOILER] [/SPOILER] but it does not seem to work. I wanted to hide a long list of furniture so it did not take up half a page. Those interested could open the spoiler and look. How do spoilers work here?

Some years back, I thought I wanted to roleplay. So I created 2 alts for that, that should be my "couple". It was talk about how all roleplayers wanted to be lords or ladies, or wizard/halfdemon/illegal son of Prince... And nobody wanted to roleplay a nobody. But I had a lot of fun creating two lower class citizens, but now so low as the raggedy thieves. Just everyday people minding their work. Finding clothes that matched their class and creating a backstory with some hints that could go here or there, but nothing extraordinary. I turned out to be brilliant in creating the personas, but never got involved with roleplay... I lost interest in roleplay as soon as they were finished, I just wanted to work on their looks. When I had them ready, I wanted to do other things. Everything I do, I rush through, so I can do something new. Wasn't it a poet saying so? So that was 2 alts that started as roleplayers, but were never used for it.

And some people lie when asked if they have alts and how many. I agree that one alt is very handy. If you are unsecure if your security is set up right... log in the alt and let him/her see if it works. Hold a group with the alt. Super important if you have a group for roleplay or other things and you leave the group by a mistake. If you have an alt with management rights in the group, he/she invites you in again. Or you have just a friend in a group so you are two, all sort of things can happen. Your friend quit SL... stops logging in... goes missing. You have control when you have yourself and the alt in the group. Plus testing poses and other things.

I am a bit slow to reply, and you also said you wont't buy the body. But the BoM can be turned on, it is just so well hidden. I can't explain it with words, because it is some weird symbol it hides behind. Oh, I like their look. I think their bodies are the best looking. It is just sad that they insist on making things their way and not the customerfriendly way. But the HUD was much worse before, so they have changed a bit to the better. The 1 L body is a step forward to redemption, no doubt. TMP had a free body in those days, but it was mostly unusable since no parts could be hidden. This 1 L body is functional, and I love that there is BoM built in. Back then it was different priced bodies, to get an alpha HUD, you had to buy the most expensive one. I had it on myself, and on 2 other avatars, plus 2 full priced heads. Madness when you think about it. But it was so few other mesh bodyparts to buy. I disliked Slink and was mad at Belleza because reasons that are too long to discuss here. So it was TMP or nothing else until Maitreya came. That they actually fixed the slices in the body and made it better, is a promising sign. Still loving the look, hating the complexity and not trusting it enough to buy. Maybe if they do something with the complexity.

Can you explain what a "flat" folder is? Some English terminology is not clear to me. What does this mean: "I have added additional folders to the main Inventory top level" @LittleMe Jewell? I have never made any new folders over the "Trash" folder, no matter what prefix I use. I have the impression that the top level is not possible to change. Do you mean new folders inside the main system folders? I can do that, if I open a system folder.

I don't manage often, but now and then I take a heroic effort to delete all notecards, unpacker scripts and textures that is not the item I bought. Some stores put their logo in the pack on a separate texture, so useless. Some promote other releases and pack the textures in there too. And I delete landmarks, because they get old. I think I must have had 50 LM's to Apple Fall, and half of them was outdated. And I try to wear as many clothes and I can and delete the oldest. I try to make folders. Last time I tried organizing, I came as far as testing all my boots, delete the obsolete ones and make a folder under "Clothes". And then I get tired of it. I can have deleted 1000, 2000 and one time, even 10 000. But I was not done, and I go back to my sloppy way of not cleaning up when I log out. So it builds up again.
