Ow, but I want to do more looks. I can do that and you count me as just one entry? I found this fun to do, because I work so different here. If I have a Linden Home or a plot of land, I spend a lot of time on the outside, on landscaping. Only when I start to be satisfied with the outdoors, can I move in and start with furniture and decor. So this "small" space to decorate is done so fast.

I have learnt how to use spoilers like this: [SPOILER] [/SPOILER] but it does not seem to work. I wanted to hide a long list of furniture so it did not take up half a page. Those interested could open the spoiler and look. How do spoilers work here?

Some years back, I thought I wanted to roleplay. So I created 2 alts for that, that should be my "couple". It was talk about how all roleplayers wanted to be lords or ladies, or wizard/halfdemon/illegal son of Prince... And nobody wanted to roleplay a nobody. But I had a lot of fun creating two lower class citizens, but now so low as the raggedy thieves. Just everyday people minding their work. Finding clothes that matched their class and creating a backstory with some hints that could go here or there, but nothing extraordinary. I turned out to be brilliant in creating the personas, but never got involved with roleplay... I lost interest in roleplay as soon as they were finished, I just wanted to work on their looks. When I had them ready, I wanted to do other things. Everything I do, I rush through, so I can do something new. Wasn't it a poet saying so? So that was 2 alts that started as roleplayers, but were never used for it.

And some people lie when asked if they have alts and how many. I agree that one alt is very handy. If you are unsecure if your security is set up right... log in the alt and let him/her see if it works. Hold a group with the alt. Super important if you have a group for roleplay or other things and you leave the group by a mistake. If you have an alt with management rights in the group, he/she invites you in again. Or you have just a friend in a group so you are two, all sort of things can happen. Your friend quit SL... stops logging in... goes missing. You have control when you have yourself and the alt in the group. Plus testing poses and other things.

I am a bit slow to reply, and you also said you wont't buy the body. But the BoM can be turned on, it is just so well hidden. I can't explain it with words, because it is some weird symbol it hides behind. Oh, I like their look. I think their bodies are the best looking. It is just sad that they insist on making things their way and not the customerfriendly way. But the HUD was much worse before, so they have changed a bit to the better. The 1 L body is a step forward to redemption, no doubt. TMP had a free body in those days, but it was mostly unusable since no parts could be hidden. This 1 L body is functional, and I love that there is BoM built in. Back then it was different priced bodies, to get an alpha HUD, you had to buy the most expensive one. I had it on myself, and on 2 other avatars, plus 2 full priced heads. Madness when you think about it. But it was so few other mesh bodyparts to buy. I disliked Slink and was mad at Belleza because reasons that are too long to discuss here. So it was TMP or nothing else until Maitreya came. That they actually fixed the slices in the body and made it better, is a promising sign. Still loving the look, hating the complexity and not trusting it enough to buy. Maybe if they do something with the complexity.

Can you explain what a "flat" folder is? Some English terminology is not clear to me. What does this mean: "I have added additional folders to the main Inventory top level" @LittleMe Jewell? I have never made any new folders over the "Trash" folder, no matter what prefix I use. I have the impression that the top level is not possible to change. Do you mean new folders inside the main system folders? I can do that, if I open a system folder.

I don't manage often, but now and then I take a heroic effort to delete all notecards, unpacker scripts and textures that is not the item I bought. Some stores put their logo in the pack on a separate texture, so useless. Some promote other releases and pack the textures in there too. And I delete landmarks, because they get old. I think I must have had 50 LM's to Apple Fall, and half of them was outdated. And I try to wear as many clothes and I can and delete the oldest. I try to make folders. Last time I tried organizing, I came as far as testing all my boots, delete the obsolete ones and make a folder under "Clothes". And then I get tired of it. I can have deleted 1000, 2000 and one time, even 10 000. But I was not done, and I go back to my sloppy way of not cleaning up when I log out. So it builds up again.

My alts was Premium so I could have more land. I prefer to do business with Linden Lab and not go via a Landlord.... I had 5 alts plus me and paid Premium for all, we had a group for land. I had a change in RL income and took them off Premium. When I needed them for land again, I thought: "This old alt does not get a 1000 L bonus. Why waste the gift bonus because I can make a new avatar and sign it up for Premium?" So I made a few more. Not saying it more specific. I have not saved money on them because I can't let them stay in the Noob look. I just can't, I am itching all over to change it. So the 1000 L goes back in the form of shopping, plus more. As Premium becomes more expensive, I am letting them revert back to Basic since I have found a cheap rental. I am still keeping them.

I have become skeptical to invest in a Legacy body, because they continue the TMP way of not upgrading for free. If they work on a body that only reduce the triangles, I fear they will sell it as: "New and Improved Legacy Light Body with fewer Triangles" for 5000 L again, even if I already have bought the high triangles body. Their most expensive TMP actually cost 10 000 L, just to get layers and alpha cuts. 6 months later Maitreya came out and every single upgrade has been free.

Sometimes you do everything right and SL is glitching. Try to relog? Teleport to the empty water region Hatton first. Just search for it in the map. Walk to a corner, log off and log in again to "Last location".

I saw the cottages they had on ground, but thought I could never decorate a cottage on 50 Li budget. But then I remember, I have a small cottage myself. I don't think it's the same as they rent out, but it's same style. This is "Frostbite" and I bought it from Trompe Loeil in 2013. It has a fireplace that not all cottages have. But my Li budget of 50 is not reached, so I could use a low li fireplace and still use 50. (Edit: Isn't it possible to post spoilers, or am I wrong?) Coordinating usually goes wrong for me, both when I have released, and when I am trying to get one others has relesed. It has worked two times, I think. Others say they are more lucky. They have even released and managed to get it on another of their own avatars. In the cases when they do not wish to renew Premium for the avatar with the best house. Another avatar can be prepaid for a longer period. My best places came "out of the blue", not announced on the forum.

Yes, here is mine - so far. I did a speed decorating, because I remembered what I had from last year. I had a Linden home with a big add-on, so I had to be careful about the Li on my furniture. And I shopped a lot on a super low Li store that was in Linden Labs Christmas event. I never remember the names of those, but maybe someone else does. All this is 44 Li last I checked. The rental boxes are updated with the Li amount used, but it takes time. What is not shown, is the kitchen and stove. I think it goes without saying that it is a lot of linking to stretch the Li budget. Plus a totally rigid look at Li of the furniture.

It is never wrong to be considerate, and since the sky is clear, it is easy to be considerate and move a few 100 m more up in the sky so you are out of eyesight. It does not ruin anything for you, and you don't sacrifice an iota of your tier. Maybe you would also like it if others treated you with some kindness and don't ruin your view on purpose.

Maybe this hint of houses that will come a long way in the future has just that purpose, to get people to move on other land where they can build just the house they want. It is already a stress when new themes are released. And the original thought for LL, was that people should move when they wanted more Li and different homes. I have not seen them change that. This can also be why they continue with "pretty much the same". Houses for the majority, not so special that people settle in there for the rest of their SLife. I can also be totally wrong. Maybe LL has 2 themes already done with regions and all, built on a super secret place so the regions can pop up just days after the uplift is gone and going smooth.

I rented one wrong, a ground house. I will not renew that. It is house 6 or 8, I think. I can contact the owner and see if she can transfer it to you. PS: Are your name in SL zenoerasa Resident?

This is the theme after Stilt houses. So it would be a miracle indeed. I think we will be lucky to get Stilts for Christmas, if they manage to get it ready with the uplift and all.

Well, I don't know where to post since it's a thread for Mainland pictures only. I am still under 50 Li. I had all these things from decorating in Bellisseria on low Li. I bought a new rig and one of the wall decals this year. They are maybe a bit yesteryear and not so Vogue.
