I like having a tree in the house every year. I like putting lights up on it and scattering ornaments all over it. My ideal tree is chosen by someone else who tromped through cold, wet woods or farm field to choose (knowing just what I like), cut, shake and bind my tree, delivering it to my door. Our neighbors always host an alley friends new years party, at which there is sure to be a post Christmas, spectacular tree bonfire. If this happens this year-end, I promise to take a photo just for @Madelaine McMasters.
