    As much as I agree with you, but to be fair, some people aren't too pleased with necroing old threads. This practice is frowned upon in some forum communities regardless of subject matter, others may be chill with it. It's a bit hard for the casual visitor to tell which side the SL forum leans towards.     Are you talking about your own system eyes layer? If so, the Catwa eyes can do BoM. In the head HUD, go to the eye tab and click on the BoM button.

    When a store calls their timed demo a "free trial". A "free trial". A 5-minute free trial. I don't know if I should be mad or impressed by their ingenuity in getting around the do-not-show demo filters.

    On the body, head, and eyes, I went to the Texture tab in the edit window, made them BoM and set the Transparency to 40%. Too bad the popular bodies and heads are no-mod, so I used Onupup and one of these heads. Modifiable mesh eyes were a bit of a challenge to find but I eventually found them.

    I, too, still call them TMP to distinguish their labels from the classic system bodies. As far as I'm concerned, they don't get to protest when they outright usurped these traditional terms causing so much confusion like you said. Let them stay mad.

    Messing around with mesh and figured out how to turn an avatar into a semitransparent apparition. Should be fun for Halloween.
