Yes, it looks out of date, but I don't think that's a bad thing. My opinion there is probably in the very small minority. Bad compared to mesh? Wrist & ankle joints and breasts will always look bad compared to mesh, you can't get around that. Will it pass in 2019? Well, if anyone is judging my ugly system avatar, they aren't telling me. Getting a job? I've never tried. I think it depends on the job, specifically the amount of nudity involved. Almost no one wants to look at janky wrists, cankles and lumpy boobs.

I think for me it's how the game works. I use WASD in FPS shooters because I have the mouse in my right hand all the time. In SL I use the keyboard a lot more. So it's arrows to move, letters to chat. Both hands on the keyboard, when I use ctrl, shift and alt, it's the ones on the left side of the keyboard, not the ones by the arrow keys.

Arrow keys for movement, flycam (Xbox controller) for camming around.

Resident and display names came along right after LL laid off a third of their staff in one day. It's only halfway tongue in cheek that I think last names fell victim to cost cutting. If the only name you have is resident, you don't have to pay anyone to make up new ones. If last names were such a big deal, LL could have brought them back any time in the last nine years.

That's nothing compared to the disappointment when you whip out your Linden.

I just use nine computers.

I liked the list of last names. It was fun seeing what they came up with every time a new list popped up.

Look around SL long enough and you'll find something to bring beast mode PC down, but generally a competent CPU and GPU will run it fine.
