I agree that you might not always find the type of clothing you're looking for at events, but events are a good way to collect LM's of stores that you can visit and check their fuller inventory. There are stores which may have something at an event that is more on the skimpy side, but at their inworld store they may have a few non-skimpy items. I wear maxi skirts a lot during the spring and summer seasons, and always wear them with my feet unhidden and either sandals or sneakers. If a coat doesn't come with an included 'shirt' you can wear an applier tank top under the coat, if layering it over a regular top doesn't work. I haven't seen this very often, but when I have, it has been because one price (the higher) is the regular price and the other price is a discounted price for members of the store's group. When I've encountered this and I belong to the appropriate group, I make sure I have the correct group tag active before choosing the discounted price to pay.

Have you looked in your inventory under "Calling Cards" ? If there is a calling card for them, at least you'd have their full name to look up in search - or if you know that you both belonged to a common group - to look them up in that group. If the group shows the names of members it will also show the last time the person logged on.

Found an old train yard while out shopping. I actually enjoy it when a LM for a store puts you down in a scenic location surrounding the store. For me, that's one of the pleasures of shopping inworld.

On my keyboard, using either ALT key works the same, and I don't get the functionality that I would get from ALT+CTRL from using the other ALT key (that was pointed out as ALTGR)

The other thing that comes to mind when I read these threads about how the MP should work, or what enhancements/fixes should be made, I rarely see a thread where even just the MP merchants (let alone those who just buy from the MP) are all in complete agreement about how something should work or what the workflow is for a process. Developers of a system will know how to use the system, at least enough for testing, but they often don't use it the same way or use the same workflow that the end-users will use. It is hard to ensure that you have full understanding of a process between developers and end-user representatives, even when you are in a space where you have on-going back-and-forth communication with them as things are being developed. And often I think aspects may be overlooked from a combination of the developer not realizing some aspect needed to be defined better and/or end-users not mentioning something because "of course" the developers would have know that already.

I went from the support link at the bottom of this page which took me to https://support.secondlife.com/ and when I clicked on the "Billing issues" link there from the Side Bar, I did get a SL login screen, and then the page Solar linked to came up (with the same URL as indicated above).

This is from just a little over a year ago. I didn't make the switch from system head to mesh head until the beginning of this year.

It's never too early to start organizing your inventory. You will probably later change or refine how you organize it, but even that will be easier if you already have some sort of organization in place.
