    Not entirely in full context Adult content won't be allowed at the opening of Sansar's creator beta this summer. Ultimately, we want Sansar to be an open platform that enables creators to make all kinds of experiences, but early on we also want to be careful that a single genre of content doesn't come to define the platform and potentially limit its appeal to other creators.

    Have quite the same interests, and timezone. Love to chat, shop (alot....) and explore to do pictures on awesome sims. Only (maybe) problem, my usual hang around spot is quite adult so that might not be for everyone. But the former activities (chat/shop/explore) always welcomed! Being Dutch I am quite sensitive to cheese jokes though...

    Hate Christmas. Made sure I was on vacation out of the country past few years so I could skip it all... This year I failed and have no excuses planned not to attend... oh the horror

    Yeah exactly that! Kept downloading mods mainly to make myself and the surroundings look prettier (or turn my companions into prostitutes...) till the amount of mods crashed the game and had to start over....more than once.

    Indeed, SL is not a FPS, that is why I said it made no sense comparing it to call of Duty or other FPS games. What is an RPG element in a game? If there is a story and quest givers, and you get into the skin of someone being tasked with those quests, is that an RPG element? And what if these quests are rescuing hostages or killing terrorists and the quest giver is an army officer? Just saying there is a fine line between RPG / Action RPG / FPS genres, they often blend. Mostly though if its all player skill based and not level/character skill based its not considered an RPG, so genre wise SL combat sims are not an RPG. But its not about the genre of the game, is the question if you as player are roleplaying when participating. I don't play combat sims, so you probably know better than me and if you say its not roleplaying in any form, I will take your word for that seeing you are the experienced one on that field. But anyways, this is derailing the actual topic, does it need to have its own sub forum or not. I think not and we disagree, lets leave it at that.

    Single player mode of such games is definitely story based so falls in Action RPG. Looking at multiplayer when you are in a clan, you get team strategies, scouts, snipers, medic, engineers and so on, each has their role to play. SL is not a FPS though, comparing a game you play in what essentially is a massive virtual roleplaying environment with FPS action games makes no sense.

    There is no special sub forum for furries, or for bloodlines, or sex with tentacled aliens, and they are probably equally big and old communities as combat. If you like to discus a certain detail of combat, make a topic. A forum dedicated to such a singular subject would bleed dry.

    I have no experience in this field, but I would expect that for magazines and blogs the owners just use alts? Create an alt, get a few bodies/heads/skins, and you have your model that you can work with as you like without having to deal with a real life person. For live shows its a different thing, but have no idea if live shows are still a thing in SL

    The lyrics of this song, how we live in a digital world, and what we would do if the power is turned off (at least, that is how I interpret the lyrics). They probably mean the social media and everything, but made me think, what if LL would decide to just pull the plug, and turn our digital world off. What would we do, what would happen with all the relationships build up for more than a decade of "living"in our digital SL world.

    No Thanksgiving stories, since well, we don't have it here But concert and rum was great way to start the weekend! Though the rum is responsible for a horrible way to start Saturday's workday... Happy weekend!

    If you don't mind not having a Bento animated head (they are 5k ish) you can get the old style mesh heads for 600 at Catwa, dont know other brand prices. They are still beautiful and full support, just not customizable like Bento.

    I have and love my Catwa and very used to it now, but if I had to go back and make the choice again I think I would go for Lelutka now. Really love their bento heads. Sarted with Genesis, but somehow always had troubles with eyes, and did not really come close to the quality of the looks compared to Catwa/Lelutka. All IMO of course

    I have an adult themed town/club sim (bit of a business) that attracts plenty of people. Since I also placed my "appartment" on the top floor of a "working room" I hang around the sim alot with friends, and meet alot of people that way. Alot are just sex traffic, but quite a few people are open for a chat and I have met some good friends there. Before I rented at a themed biker/beach sim. Was beautiful design but high rent and never really met anyone there.

    Are there actually any good quality female skins with athletic look? Not overly, but just a bit more than the perfectly soft skins we usually have
