Since it happens with all her HUDs I would think its viewer / sim related. But my technical know how only goes as far as 1. clear cache, 2. reboot, 3. google.

I have about 5 old friends who left SL on my list still, just in case. 6 active friends who I have regular contact with And some people that "work" on my sim. Rest I keep the list pretty clean.

Did you try it on different sim's? Sometime happens to me as well, nothing works, nothing attaches/detaches either. Move to less laggy sim and all works again. Otherwise, try the cache clearing again

I have one friend I talk with whenever we are both online, and its about just anything, small talk, big things, whatever. I also have friends I don't talk with for days even when both online, and only talk when we have something interesting to say, or hang out. Both is good, as long as there's a mutual understanding and acceptance. If you expect a friend to be someone who entertains you whenever you are both online, that will not work in most cases.

I was really glad I skipped the flu. Being a workaholic is hard to combine with being sick. Only had some back problems for a while. Finaly decided to get a real check-up yesterday. Probably a herniated disc... Now how I will combine that with my workaholism I still have to figure out...
