I tend to agree with you. SL's technical issues seem to be getting worse every time they do "maintnance". For instance, this past week sims that were not laggy before, are now. Also as of 3 days ago my Astero ambulance seems to have screwd up scripts and wont move in a perticuler sim. If they would fix what needs fixing and leave everything else alone sl might be better place.

Wierd issue in one sim I click on any of the signs that suposed to give group stuff including combat huds and rp uniforms and it doesnt do anything. But, it works with my alt. Not sure what is causing the issue on my main account. Wierd maybe someone can help.

Alot of computers can't handle the high settings. I have mine set the lowest level possible. It creats lot less lag that way.

I was having lag and texture issues with sl when suddenly I crashed. When I tried logging back in sl gave me a message that read something like this "your account will be unavailable untill 4/14/14 at 1935 pst." Just curious if anyone else has gotten this? Interesting I am able to log in with my alt.

Sense doing a clean install of the new verssion of firestorm I have had issues. At first it would freeze up clearing cach on start up. Now when I log on, I am a cloud. I have done clean instals 3 times now. So I think they still have bugs to work out.

I manage a club that does contests. We get the people that come in put their name on the board and leave. Sometimes they will come back before the voting other times not. Then there are the ones that have alts that vote. In our club we have the board set to split the prize. If you get at least one vote you win some. People make decent L going around to diffrent contests. It is a way to get people into a club. Unfortunantly some don't stay and others only show up when you have a contest. Also Dancers are tipped less durring a contest when the majority of people there are there only for the contest. Sad it happens that way. Just the way SL clubs work.

Breedables don't get me started lol. I have a friend who does the kittycat breeding. They just got rid of some low trait kitties in faver of high trait ones. The higher trait kitties seem to sell the most and cost the most money. Breeding also requires money. You have the cost of food to feed the kitties, and then once they reach a certain age they are no longer able to breed. Some people that are heavily into breeding them have 20 to 40 cats on their land. Thats insane. anyway my rant on breeding.

SL is a virtual world where you can litterly do anything you dream of. Only thing limiting you (other then prims) is your imagination.

Well I know I have a few things that wouldn't mind seeing change in mp. For one I would like an option of weather or not to get demo's in search. I hate when I am searching for something and find nothing but demo's. Another thing I don't like is it takes 4 diffrent proccesses to buy something. Other then that mp is good.

I am wondering if SL was realy made for combat. I know combat is populer, but in all combat sims you need to have a hud made generaly by USC or another manufactuer. SL does not come with it's own combat system unlike 3rd person shooter games. So I am wondering just what the intention of SL is or was in the form of combat by LLs creaters.

Lets see as a newbie I Got all the free boats and vehicles i could and would drive and sail. My alt when new discovered a sim for newbies called newbia. I wonder if it's still around. Anyway, they have free appartments and it is basicly a community for newbies. Another thing cool for newbies is to create your own superhero costume in metrotopia. They also have free weapons and other things there. Also shopping at the verious free stors is fun even for a non newbie.

Clubs or any kind of business in SL is hard. It takes getting not just anyone willing to work but people willing to bring others into the mix. A club with a cover charge in SL will flop. NO club I know of in SL charges at the door to get in. You will need managers and a general manager to run everything. Not sure about the legality of the betting. LLs/SL is based in the US. We have certain gamming laws here. Also having an island or land of any kind takes alot of money. Are you prepared to spend alot of money on land? Perhaps start out small and see how it goes. You also say you don't have much time to be in world. Thats where a good general manager would come in.

Yes it does seem as if SL has alot of sexual things. On most M rated and A rated sims you will typicly find at least one dance pole or one set of sex pose ball's. In order to win contests it seems the more slutty dressed the more votes you get. But, I have come accross sims without the sexual things.

Typicly if you like a gester/ emot, just ask the person that did the gesture. If it is sharable they most likely will share it with you. When you recieve it into inventory you have to go into the gestures folder to find it and activate it.

There are alot of things that I have seen on SL I don't understand how it can be alowd. Rape sims happen to be one of them. When you look for urban sims there are more rape sims that come up then normal urban rp sims. Why anyone would want to be rapped even virtualy is beyond me. Adults in kid AV's is another one I don't understand. But, with that said, people don't have to go to those sims if they don't want to. Simply stay away from them.

Did you try clearing inventory cach? 6 or 7 months ago LLs was expieriencing inventory issues. Also check your Lost and Found folder.

Keeping inventory clean is an ongoing thing. Alot of items are copy so when you rez and derez it gives you a copy. Try deleting the copy when it comes back into inventory. That way your inventory is a bit more managable.

LOL I think of the last one all the time. I will see something in RL and think to myself "I have that in SL". Then there is the one where you are out in RL and you get frustrated because the fly button doesnt work.

It is basicly same thing if you have a store on market place only you place your object for sale in a folder. Market place stores are free to have.

From the looks of it it looks like a bad location for the airport. However, it does look easily accessible by hellicopter.

I am wondering how high up the skybox is? i know the area around Honnoh Lee Field you have to have it a certain hight. The Airport owner sould be working with her on the issue to resolve it. because of that persons ban lines it makes the airport undesirable.

someone tried pulling an extortion scam the other day on a friend of mine. They claimed threatend to get my friend banned if they didnt give them L$. So there is something like that going around. just have to not trust people.

Cloths arn't the onlything that causes lag. There are other issues in play. One such problem are sim owners that build high lag high prim high scripted sims. Also the number of people in a sim can also effect thi ngs. As for cloths causing lag that is a small part of it even though it is less laggy sailing in a bikini then full cloths.

Only terrorist activity I have come across on SL is the griefers.

AHHHHHHHHH to be a noob again lol. Those were the days of club hopping, freebie store shopping and rezzing houses on sandboxes not to mention the free boats lol. I look at those boats now and think "why did i get that". Oh well to be a noob again.
